Tan V

I have always liked this tan salon but they are not serving their clients best interests at the present!
They are renovating the store and still operating during this time the salon was in need of a makeover and should have been closed and the fit out completed there are construction materials everywhere and there are no hooks on the doors or walls to hang your cloths or even a chair so they go on the floor I tamed in bed 6 and there is definitely a bulb or three not functioning so I have a white streak down the left front of my body so I’m not happy I was asked if I wanted to do a twelve minute session in this bed I asked if it would cook me they said no you are olive skinned well I said better make it 10min thinking maybe I should do 8min I now wish I’d said 8min as my back and bottom are burnt badly. I hope they improve on these issues and things go back to normal.

Best spray tan ever! Although I love the sun kissed look, I never go into the sun without my SPF 50 slathered all over. But that’s ok, a 20 minute visit to Tan V and I’m nice and bronzed. Easy to get to on Sobe with parking! My tan is even and natural looking, no weird color or streaking. I would highly recommend Tan V to everyone who wants to look their best.

Good place for anyone who doesn’t like to lay for hours in the sun and still look tanned. Better take a membership. It starts at 29 USD per month for unlimited visits

I been going to this place aprox. 10 times and used the «platinum sunbed»
I had a hope to had at least some tan as «platinum sunbed» supposed to be one of the strongest. Nothing. I had no tan at all!
But yesterday it just killed me, I came white like snow because i havent been tanning for a while, I did scrub before and applied coconut oil before .
I also asked for the sunbed where the uv lamps been changed recently and still after «platinum sunbed» which cost me aprox 26 usd. I had 0!!!
Really does not worth it!
I have been using other sunbed places which if a bit far but at least which works!
The positive point of Tan V: the staff is nice and friendly.

This pregnant lady who works there was super sweet and professional and the place was very clean I want to sign up for the 40 bucks monthly unlimited tanning :)

Really, really like this place! They have different offers for tanning and I’m sure you can find what are you looking for. Amazing service and no waiting. Love it!

Alex was the best! He was attentive, friendly, and gave us great advice as to what package we should get. Not only do they have a great lotion selection, but a great spray tan selection as well. Super close to any major neighborhood in South Beach. I highly recommend. Thanks, Alex… you’re a doll!

So I tan A LOT. If your comparing it to boca tanning of course it’s better (but that not hard to beat). The beds here are ok and so five years ago. If you want GREAT tanning go to copper tan. There beds don’t even compare to Tan V. Also Versa Spa was hot years ago, now the new thing is the Pure, which is the upgrade to Versa Spa. Nicer tanning salons have them like copper. They don’t change their bulbs enough here, the employees are nice but that the only good thing I can say. The pricing is okay but I’d rather tan somewhere else

Sorry Boca, Tan V is the BEST tanning place in Sobe for Spray Tans! Not only is their monthly spray tan membership $ 15 less, their spray & machine is better (heated too), and they have PARKING (which is almost unheard of in South Beach). I don’t use regular tanning beds so I cannot comment on those, but I recommend Tan V for all of your Versa Spa Spray Tans :)

They keep up to date on their bulb changes so their beds & stand ups are always powerful! Sometimes they give out free lotions when you buy a package. I recommend this salon. I wonder if their prices are on point with the other salons in the area…

Probably the best value of a tanning place I have experienced. They dont have the state of the art beds but they work, the staff is friendly, and the have some great upgrade specials. The downside is I had my shirt sucked into the fan one time, the stand up beds are no joke!

Ok nice salon but it said $ 15 for a single use, my mom and I went so it would be $ 30! The girl says would you like a single pack of lotion instead of a full one ad we said okay because she never said we would have to pay! So we were scammed into paying $ 7 each for the lotion! Meanwhile we go Into our separate stand up beds and my moms stand up (number 9) turned on and off every 2 minutes! They didn’t even offer her money back

The last time I went to this place I a horrible experience the girl I think her name was janelle had a nasty attitude very rude and snobby she didnt even ask if i needed eyewear or a lotion she put me in a stand up and didnt even clean it the floor was all sticky and their wasnt even a towel inside the room. the fan wasnt working very well it was making a really loud noise! it feels like if the stand up bed is going to blow up its scary. and alot of the lamps werent even on because of that girl making me feel so uncomfortable for no reason. I dont think I will ever go back.

As advertised on TV 19.99 a month, unlimited tanning, it’s true. But here’s the catch… The level one beds suck and there from the early 90’s. I would get life insurance before stepping into those beds. Rusted, scary and blinking bulbs!
But for 49.99 a month unlimited tanning you get a great deal on the 2011’s super beds. This is the package I purchased (credit card only). These beds give you great long lasting color. Also, if you press a button the bed sprays water on your face, nice touch!

The lotions for sale are a limited quantity.
Overall you get your moneys worth but you can’t put a price on beauty!

This is my new favourite tanning salon in Miami. It may not be the fanciest or have the highest powered equipment; but the atmosphere, service, location and equipment quality together cannot be beat anywhere in Miami for the price.
For $ 34.88 a month, you receive unlimited tanning in their level 2 stand-​up beds or for $ 49.88 a month, you receive unlimited tanning in their levels 2 & 3 stand-​ups. They also seems to run a lot of different specials for lotion/​lay-​down (level 4 bed) packages, which really makes indoor tanning affordable here.
I was a tan-​aholic in Orlando since I never have time from work to go to the beach, but I wasn’t able to afford it here in Miami until now.
I highly recommend Tan V if you are looking for simple tanning at an affordable price.

Tanning is a very personal experience and so this may not be the place for you if you are a dedicated «lay down» bed user.
Despite being of Guatemalan descent, I really have pasty skin and find myself too busy with beauty appointments on the weekends to go to the beach (who has time to get it done during the week). So I cheat. I’m not Charlie Crist, I just try to get enough exposure so I don’t look like Casper the Friendly ghost.
Tan V has two different kinds of stand up beds — the Mega and Extreme. The Extreme is allegedly three times the strength of the Mega. The max time you can spend in each bed is 10 minutes. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable about the appropriate time and lotions one should use. In a crunch for a big event (high school reunion, wedding, weekend getaway)? Then take advantage of the Mystic spray tan. You really don’t need to look like Ross on Friends if you follow the staff’s sage advice.
While they offer various seasonal and promotional memberships, the regular membership is around $ 29.88 a month for unlimited Mega V tanning. As a member you only need to pay $ 5 for an upgrade to Extreme. Keep your eyes keen for their promotions and you can get upgrade packages for a bargain, which never expire. Appointments are never necessary and you rarely have to wait more than ten minutes when it is busy.
Be careful, these beds happen to have stronger bulbs than other places my friends have tried. As with everything, tan with moderation and you won’t turn into a handbag.
