Don’t bother wasting your time with this inconsiderate Doctor. I scheduled an appointment as I had an emergent problem with my left eye. After 45 minutes I finally saw the tech and they dilated my pupils and put me in a room for 1.5 hours. Everyone in the waiting room was complaining saying that it was their last time seeing him as he is always inconsiderate of people’s time and is trying to do as much volume as possible without any focus on quality. I left his office dizzy and with blurred vision and was barely able to drive home. There are other doctors off the beach but the drive is worth it. Trust me.

I was having a little problem with one of my eyes and, when my current eye doctor in Chicago said that I needed to be seen right away, I went into semi panic mode. Since I don’t live in Miami, how on earth was I going to find a good eye doctor on a moment’s notice? Lucky for me, a coworker came to the rescue and referred me to Dr. Weiss.
When I called around 4:00pm the receptionist said that they would try to squeeze me in that day but I would have to be patient. No problem for me, I was just thrilled that they were even entertaining my last minute request. So I packed up a couple of magazines, hopped in the rental car and made the short drive over to Dr. Weiss’ office.
I was prepared to wait as long as necessary to see the doctor but I only actually waited a little over an hour. While I was waiting, the staff in the office couldn’t have been more friendly and apologetic. Hey, again, still happy to be there.
Once I got in to see the doctor, he really took time to investigate what was going on. He spent time talking to me about my symptoms, did a very thorough eye exam, and truly made every effort to get to the bottom of what was going on. I haven’t spent much time at the eye doctor so I’m sure I’m not the easiest to work with. Dr. Weiss was patient and friendly and really seems to care about his patients.
I couldn’t be more happy with my visit. Even though Dr. Weiss and his staff stayed late to fit me in, I never felt rushed and they were pleasant and caring the entire time. I’m so thankful to have ended up at this office.
