nice looking place, large, has shaded outdoors, however reg coffee too weak, lack of AC indoors and baristas that don’t know how to tap used grounds out of an espresso handle without making a loud jarring noise ever few minutes so loud that all will want to leave. hopefully they fix this issue with the ac and the loud noise and ill edit my review.

Can’t get enough of the chocolate croissants… I stop by and pick one up almost every Saturday or Sunday morning…

We decided to give Aroma a second chance while in the area. This time we decided to try a little of everything to get a better feel for their menu. We started with a Turkey BLT Sandwhich on whole wheat ($ 9.90), which is very large. It seemed extremely fresh and satisfactory for the size. I also ordered a fruit cup that included strawberries, blueberries, grapes, pineapple, and cantaloupe. It comes in their «small» cup for $ 4.90, but I have to say it was very refreshing and all the pieces were fresh and juicy.
For drinks, we ordered Martinelli’s apple juice for $ 3.75 and a small Iced Latte for $ 4.75. The drinks were delicious, I loved that the iced latte came unsweetened, so I could add the sugar I wanted.
Of course we had to have something sweet, this time we tried the brownie. This was a little unsatisfactory, as it was an extremely small piece for $ 3.50. The brownie was just okay. It did it’s job of killing the sweet tooth.
I will say I was overall very pleased with our visit this time. The staff was extremely polite and helpful. They were constantly walking around and picking up plates and making sure everything was clean. If your looking for a delicious coffee, this is a place to try!

The pastries here are pretty awesome. Staff is always friendly and pleasant. Great place for a meeting, studying or a casual date.

Inconsistency. The coffee never tastes the same. Sometimes it is really good, sometimes watery. Much more staff training needed to operate these awesome coffee machines. Hire a real barista. You want to be a coffehouse right, so get your coffee right.
What disturbs me though is that the outside is always in some sort of disarray. There are 6 or 7 staff on site, sometimes even surpassing the number of customers. So why can’t anyone go outside and pick up the napkins from the floor? The leaves? Or wipe the tables less half-​assed so they are not sticky? Inexcusable.

I was so pissed

I came here after a year of working next to it. I was very excited to finally stop by for my caffeine fix, but I was unfortunately not super impressed by this establishment.
Since this is not a coffee shop that is in every corner, I thought it would just be mind blowing and would have the best coffee ever, but that wasn’t the exact scenario. On this occasion I went to do an office run where I got a pastry, a latte and I got me Chai Latte since I was in the mood. I have to admit the place itself is very modern and has that hipster vibe, I really liked the fact they make salads and their own bread and have a large variety for lunch options.
As soon as I got my order I unwrapped my straw and dig in my Chai Latte, but to my disappointment the flavors were completely weird. I don’t lie when I say it tasted like I was drinking incense with a straw. For a moment I thought this was in my head, but the flavors were intensifying as the minutes went by. I drank most of it because I did not want to throw it away, but needless to say I don’t think I will be coming back here. My other two co-​workers did not love what they ordered either, so bottom line is that no one was truly impressed by this company.
I hope their recipes change and their prices drop because they would probably get more costumers that way.

It’s a lovely holiday. I just finished a WOD and thought Hey, why not go and enjoy a solo cup of coffee before heading home. I walked in this café and truly didn’t plan on ordering their infamous and delicious looking power breakfast, enjoying the heck out of their coffee and writing my review all at the same time while I bask in this beautiful morning weather. So let’s get on with it shall we?!?
Let me say this this place is modern, sleek and stylish. I love the look of this café. Their outdoor lounge alone had me sold. It’s well shaded yet it also gives you some sun and feel the fresh air. I will come back just to sit outside and read a book. It’s that enjoyable!
My power breakfast was just that… powerful! I was super impressed by their spread of well cooked eggs over medium, goat cheese, avocado, fresh salad and thick, yummy bread. You can’t go wrong with this choice. It comes packed with just the right amount of carbs and protein to fill you up. And their coffee… let me start by saying that I can’t drink specialty coffees. As much as I love them, they don’t love me back. So I had to build a tolerance and taste for black coffee. This has been for some time and I can tell you where has the best black coffees. But that’s another review for another day lol. But if you want a REAL GOOD Americana, come here. It’s DELICIOUS! Not too bitter and it doesn’t need a ton of sweetner to make it tolerable to drink. The only downer is no drive thru :(but I will still come back for more.
Ok I will get back to enjoying this morning and soaking in this delicious coffee before it gets cold. Take a piece of advice… even if it’s by yourself, enjoy your holidays my friends xoxo

Came in sat down at a chair right in front of the waiters 3 waiters. And none of them bothered to ask if I need anything or do I need to order anything. The waiters just look they do not know what they doing.

So I finally decided to stop and try this place after passing it by for so long. When we walked in we had to avoid big balls of dust falling from the fans above. For some reason the employees decided to wait until they opened and had fresh pastries out to catch the dust. Anyway parking for this location is great. Service was ok. We had a few special requests that were forgotten but they were happy to correct. We had a Chai Soy Latte and a Cappuccino which were both great. The Mediterranean Sandwich was very flavorful and we loved it, but The Omelette was dry and boring. The pasties looked amazing but of course were skipped them being dusty and everything. The best part of this place is the patio so we may be back to enjoy just a coffee there

Probably one of those places that I’ll avoid in the future! Filthy from the floor to the tables, they seem to avoid cleanliness!

I have been coming to this coffee place recently and it is very close to where I live. I usually get the coffees to go and I think the coffees are okay. The pastries are great. I especially like the chocolate croissant and whenever there are boxes of cookies available, I get those with my coffee. I have yet to try anything on the menu. The only thing about this coffee place is that it can get pricey. I usually order a large caramel latte with a box of cookies and it turns out to be a little over $ 13.
The actual place has indoor and outdoor seating which is great and I noticed that there were some outlets inside which is great if you want to bring a laptop and get some studying or work done. The outdoor tables have ash trays for those who smoke. The parking, I think, is quite terrible. The parking lot is very small and there are not a lot of parking spaces. Also, its a one way kind of parking lot so you can only enter and exit the parking lot in one direction. I usually come to Aroma Espresso early in the morning before the parking lot gets full but later in the morning and afternoon is when I see a lot more people and I would think that the parking is impossible.

Cute little place that I have driven by many times and have been dying to try. It was recommended to me as well by someone for the coffee, but I went today and was sadly disappointed. My tiny little iced coffee (about the size of a Starbucks tall) cost me $ 5! And it’s really not that great — I’m a coffee fiend and like many different types of coffee.

I love the Aroma for snacks, food and drinks and think this location is a total win. Very comfortable indoor and covered outdoor seating with a staff that is a ways super friendly. The bagels and croissants are made fresh each morning and the new cold brew iced coffee keep be coming back. I highly recommend Aroma and this location in particular!

Awesome little spot! Tried this place for the first time today and it was great! Highly recommend the omelet sandwich. Will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu!

Delicious place, delicious latte, burekas and salads. It is the return of the tables and chairs at a time where coffee is taken on the run.
A place for breakfast, lunch or just coffee.
The only negative about Aroma is the price… A little bit too expensive.
Another plus… I left my ipad there… And found it some hours later. It doesn’t happen everywhere in SF…

Upgrade. DEFINITELY FRIENDLIER SERVICE! The guy at the register with the glasses and the long-​ish hair was very nice, remembered my name, and was quite warm and charismatic. Coffee was perfect as usual.
When I try the food again we’ll see if it goes up to 4 stars.
I do like the place, though — I’ll tell you that. It’s always clean, and it’s very easy to park.

Very good olace, excelent food, amazing croissants, clean and neat.
I recommend it.
