I would recommended the 140th Avenue KinderCare to anyone who wants a safe, clean, and loving environment for their child. My daughter started attending this center at 5.5 months. I am a first time Mom and I was an emotional wreck. The director, Diane, and the rest of their amazing staff went to great lengths to make sure I was comfortable. They invited me to visit a few hours daily the week before I went back to work. I started off staying with my baby and observing the process then finally left her for a few hours. This transitional period helped ease my mind. They continued to encourage me to stop by unannounced or to call/email should I have any questions or just wanted to check-in on the baby. My baby is a year old now. She is ahead when it comes to her development. She is very social, confident, and an extremely happy baby. She looks forward to going to «school» every morning. She loves her teachers(Ms. Hanka, Ms. Yuli, Ms. Isa, Ms. Nikoli, and Ms. Indy) and it is very obvious that they love her. We are leaving the Miami area and it saddens me to say goodbye to these wonderful people. They have become such a big part of our child’s life that it makes me emotional. Funny how the emotion came full circle in such a short time. As far as the price of care, I would remind others that you get what you pay for – and you get a lot with KinderCare, the most important being peace of mind that your child is safe and loved. Visit them. Talk to them. They will listen because they genuinely care.

I was looking at centers for my 3.5 year old, came across this one, as it is in the vicinity of my home. I did not love the break down of their curriculum, therefore, I scratched this one of my list. Cost was also a bit high when comparing it to 4 other schools of similar characteristics(teaching style/student to teacher ratio/program duration/etc). When I touched on the fact that nap time was extremely long, IMO, and that the activities in the AM and PM seemed to be shortened a lot due to nap, I wasn’t really given any feedback, was basically ignored. I never intended to change their schedule, was just trying to get a better grasp of their reasoning. The staff was nice, just dismissive when it came to questions regarding schedule.

I decided to get a tour of this place because they were really nice over the phone. We won’t be choosing this for our son’s preschool because I didn’t quite like the schedule. I want a part time schedule and theirs just didn’t work for me, specially when taking the tuition fees into account. Their nap time is very long while their academics time is too short. The actual academics time would be an hour, so the remaining time is basically breakfast, lunch, play time and sleep.
