Absolutely fabulous and fresh. My ceviche was a work of art and tasted exquisite. The corvina was perfect. This is a gem. Get here before becomes widely known and expensive. !!!

I went to 33 Kitchen for a business lunch expecting a new and interesting spin on Peruvian cuisine. That was not the case. The lomo saltado, priced at $ 18, does not come with rice or potatoes. I don’t consider that an interesting spin. The ceviche, priced at $ 16, was less than an appetizer sized portion. The flavor and taste of the food was very good, but we left the restaurant hungry.

My friends, who both used to work for Monocle, were visiting this weekend and knowing that they have visited many cities and restaurants in the past and have a very discerning taste, I chose this new place to try out with them. We all loved it. The flavors were delicate, the wine selection was fantastic, especially their speciality list, great prices and the atmosphere was casual, yet trendy. This is my kind of place. Our favorites were the Teradito de Corvina and Causa Limena.

33 Kitchen is a great new Peruvian gem in the Grove, with unique, modern takes on Peruvian classics, warm, attentive service, and a low-key homespun vibe that speaks to this neighborhood’s resurgence. There may be big lines at some of the outdoor cafés just down the block, but this cozy little spot has them all beat in my book. Featuring some of the very best Peruvian cuisine we’ve had in Miami, we haven’t gone wrong with a single dish yet. Recommendations? Terrific ceviche, great tiraditos, solid arroz chaufa, and one of the more unique Aji De Gallinas we’ve had – all excellent, and all easily shared and served tapas style. 33 Kitchen’s seared tuna sandwich(served at lunch time) is so good it may be worth planning your lunch hour around.(It’s much more satisfying than a mid-day conference call.) The wine list is substantial and reasonably priced as well – it’s a rare place where you can get a great wine by the glass. All this, and very reasonable menu prices given the high quality here. Great spot, bet my only future concern will be how to avoid the inevitable crowds as this great newcomer grows. Outdoor seating is a nice plus.

The food was delicious! The only reason they’re not getting 5 stars is because if I’m paying $ 18 dollars for a lomo saltado that generally comes with rice and fries as part of the dish, it should be included in the dish. Having to order separate sides for something that should be included bothers me. Rice is pretty inexpensive. Nevertheless, the flavors were spot on. I tried the Ceviche, Lomo Saltado and a chicken noodle dish that seemed the best balance of carbs, protein and price. For desert we all ordered different items. The berry tres leches was great in flavor, I personally wasn’t a fan of the texture, a little too mushy but all in all great food, highly recommend the restaurant. Also, we really wanted to sit outside, we were a party of 4, and all tables for parties of 4 were occupied by parties of 2, didn’t seem conducive to good business, they could probably just separate them more, either way I’ll just chalk it up to learning curve being new in the neighborhood. Hope they can add a little more value by including a little more. Nevertheless as a local, I’m excited to finally have some more Latin flavors in the neighborhood. The service was fine as well.

A great new addition to the Grove! The tiraditos are awesome. Loved the Corvina and Tuna. And the salmon tetaki was delicious. My favorite was the Causa. I don’t eat meat but my family loved the Lomo saltado. Did not care for the quinoa or the lamb chops, and the portions are small. But we will definitely be back, and we hope they succeed! If you live in the Grove, you should definitely check it out!

My overall experience was ok. There was not anything outstanding, nor was there anything horrendous. The atmosphere was simple, bright, and clean. The dishes were beautifully presented, but some of the fish could have bit a tad bit more fresh — such as a the scallops. My first scallop was delicious, but the second one was a little funky. The dishes that we enjoyed were: corvina ceviche and the cured tuna. If the service was better, I would have given this restaurant a higher rating. We went early on a Friday night. There were only two tables that were occupied, but our server seemed really nervous. He told us that chicken was«red meat», that the mussels were from the north(usually when ordering shellfish, I like to know the specific region they come from), we asked about the shrimp(he didn’t know where they were from either — this is important because some parts of the world raise their shrimp in dirty water and vats filled with anti-biotics) and he couldn’t quite understand what we were asking for when we placed our drink orders. I ordered a Pinot Grigio and he brought me a Merlot. When I brought it to his attention, he admitted his mistake and returned with the correct wine. Maybe they were still working out the kinks, since they are a new restaurant. I might give it another shot in a few months.

I’ve basically tried everything on the menu that doesn’t have shrimp! The new Grove gem is exactly that… A GEM! If you are into fusion, fresh foods, genuine good DELICIOUS food THISISTHEPLACEFORYOU! The salmon bites are so beautifully fried tempura style that will make you wonder about why every other establishment does that it’s not doing this! BOTH scallop tapa dishes are out of this world! Picking a favorite is impossible & the prices are so comparable you actually SHOULD order both! Wait the tuna tartar with slight glimpses of jalepeño!?! The food is truly remarkable in a great location and the staff is eager to help! All recipes for and outstanding evening! I’ve only attended dinner but brunch review to follow!

Amazing — had 6 dishes plus dessert with friends — everything was fantastic. Lomo saltado, aji de gallina, Brussels sprouts, seared tuna, shrimp, papa a la something, bread pudding a la mode. I would eat any of these until I was physically ill — they are that good. Don’t miss this place.

Modern fresh Peruvian style food. We had peruvian rice, we tried ceviche, tuna salad. All is very tasty, with fresh ingredients. Healthy food! It has a cute outdoor area too with 5 – 6 tables. I highly recommend to try it.

New establishment in The Grove with Peruvian influences! Has been open for a couple of weeks. If going for an early lunch, I suggest the Eggs Benedict with a cappuccino. The hollandaise has a hint of curry which is an unbelievably tasty surprise. The cappuccino has a delicious deep bold flavor(if you like lighter coffees, I don’t suggest this). Overall, my first experience was great! They occupied for a group of 8 unexpectedly and were on top for both food and service. I will be and am looking forward to coming back.

This is my first review on Unilocal.I had to write it as I just had the best Lomo Saltado of my life! I ordered the lomo and some ceviche(which was amazing as well!) We sat outside on the covered patio and had some really good craft beer. It is very well decorated and cozy. The server took great care of us making sure everything was alright and if we needed anything throughout the night. If you are in the grove and looking for some real good Peruvian inspired food, try this place out! You will not be disappointed!
