Overall we had a great experience. I had the chicken shawarma and my boyfriend had the beef shawarma. Both were very tasty! The chicken was not dry at all and the potion size was very good. The vegetables were crisp and full of flavor. We also had the baklava, and I have to say it’s the best I have had. You could taste the nuts and it had the perfect amount of honey. The food takes a bit to prepare but it is so worth it in the end. Aside from the food the staff is very friendly. Highly recommend if you’re in the area, definitely will be eating here again.

Had a mishap over grubhub where grubhub placed an order when they were closed and never notified me the food was never coming. The owner contacted me and wanted to make right of the situation that grubhub put them in, great customer service and can’t wait to try the food

Alright so here I go… I was VERY excited to try this place because of all the reviews and delicious looking pictures but instead I had a horrible experience. When we arrive, my boyfriend and I asked for a lamb shawarma. but there was no lamb available. No problem… we ordered the falafel shawarma and chicken shawarma, instead. We pay and wait patiently on the side. Just then a customer returns two falafel shawarmas because they claimed to ask for chicken… Instead of THROWINGAWAY the two returned sandwiches… they leave them sitting by the window– in my view– for the next 20 minutes. They gave one to a customer in front of me and I regret not telling the guy but my gaze was fixed on that second damn sandwich that I knew they were saving. Lo and behold. they grab the sandwhich… rewrap it and serve it to us. Not a smart move, seeing as how they can see that I wouldn’t move my eyes away from that food despite the blazing sun reigning down on us. So I politely told this dishonest man that I SAW him hand an old returned sandwich and that I will not take it. So I returned that one and kept the fresh one… which was missing the tahini. In sum… they were dishonest in their work and I don’t appreciate that BS. THUMBSDOWN. NEVERRETURNING.

Whoa people… this food truck is FAR from deserving a rating over 4 stars, or even near it. After 20MINUTES wait, with no line, I received a waayy overcooked Kefta burger with completely soggy fries. So either I got really unlucky, or all these«trendy» midtown people have really bad taste. I will try once more and re-review but I DONOT recommend the Kefta burger…

The service is very slow for a food truck or even for ordering a shawarma sandwich in a regular restaurant. The place should have a $$ sign instead of $. Their shawarma sandwich is 10.50 $. I usually pay 7 – 8 $ for a good shawarma sandwich without any side dishes. On the other hand the sandwich had a good flavor, the tahini sauce was really good.

This food is no good. I have never had this type of food before but no flavor. It was supposed to come with tomato, onion pickle and a few other items. It only came with lettuce and meat. Way over priced for the quantity of meat you get. Stay away.

Wowza. Checked this place out today for lunch and was very impressed. Had the Falafel pita and it was delicious. Everything was fresh and tasty. Can’t wait to go back and try other things on the menu.

This food truck is located right outside of the arts District, conveniently located for a snack any time. The food is good quality and very comparable to the better Arabic food iPad around the nation. The portion sizes are good and will fill you up, food is fresh, and spiced adequately without going overboard. The best part about this place however was the service and generosity of the person we got our food from. We got there kind a late right before closing but he was nice enough to keep the place open for us and feed us. He was very friendly, prepare the food for us rapidly, and even offered us desserts. The price is good for the amounts of food you get and represents a quick but quality bite of Arabic food. Make sure to give this place a try when in the area

The food takes a little longer to prepare than your average food truck but trust me people, it is well worth the wait! At first we were confused about where the truck was going to be but right before we were about to pull out, the truck arrived(halleluyer!). We impatiently waited for them to set up(I had been bugging my partner all week about coming here) and once they were ready, my partner made his move. He handed my partner a menu but we didn’t need it, we had done our research(Baklava, what’s good??). I asked for a chicken shawarma and my partner had the kafta burger. So our baklava, chicken shawarma, and burger were about $ 17 total(score). The chicken shawarma was refreshingly fresh, the chicken was tasty and it was stuffed with veggies drizzled with a yummy sauce. I didn’t have a chance to try the burger but my partner said it was pretty good. The best part of all was the Baklava, holy cow. I can’t even begin to explain, you need to go try it for yourselves.

I had the chicken shawarma and asked for the tahini sauce on the side just because I’m particular about how it tastes. I liked the way the tahini sauce tasted but I find it overpowers other subtle flavors kinda like using spicy mayo or eel sauce on fresh sushi. I liked it, the shawarma was warm, the chicken was well-seasoned and the ingredients were fresh and tasty. I highly recommend the baklava which is THEBEST I have had in Miami. I haven’t tasted better baklava since my visit to Greece and Turkey. My fiancé had the lamb shawarma(with the tahini sauce) and he liked it very much. The gentleman who served us was attentive and brought our food to the table. The only con would be the outdoor seating but it’s not a bid deal for me. Swing by if you like Middle Eastern/Mediterranean and you won’t be disappointed.

The falafel shawarma was just too good to give it anything less than 5 stars. I love middle eastern food but it is not easy to find good places in Miami. I noticed some great reviews about this place and headed over there to give it a try. This is a food truck and it parks on the gas station located on 107th avenue and 24 street. The menu varies, sometimes they have lamb and sometimes chicken but they always have falafel. The cook/server is nice and took his time to explain the menu and options. I just really enjoyed the food and plan to go back and have more.

Excellent!!!, Mind you, it is a food truck, but the young man who tends the place is very eager and attentive, he even gave me a free bottle of water while I waited for him to setup and open the truck, the food is good, very fresh vegetables, and the meats very well prepared and seasoned. It was a really good meal, I tried the Lamb pita sandwich, and brought home a Chicken Shawarma Sandwich for later. Both were great. But I gotta say the Lamb was my favorite. He also gave a baklava sample and it was WOW, crunchy and buttery, really good, end up taking two home. Please check not only the reviews but also the reviewer, I almost didn’t tried this place because of a bad review, by Tyrone J. My experience was so disconnected from his review that I came back to Unilocal and checked him. He has 5 negative reviews for Middle Eastern restaurants, 4 of them were posted on 5/27, the remaining bad review was re-posted on 5⁄29. To me it looks highly suspicious, So if you don’t want to deprive yourself of a good finding check not only the review but also check the reviewer.

Fresh, tasty, delicious and quick food. The service was superb! The guy serving us was extra nice: he explained the menu; took the food to the table once it was ready; went back to where i was sitting to make sure that everything was as expected; gave me the hummus sample that you can get once you do a check-in and then, and then at the end of my meal brought me a piece of baklava so I could try it. I tried the chicken shawarma sandwich: tasty very tasty, not dry at all, veggies were the freshest, and a tahini sauce to die for. The platter had very good tabbouleh, the creamiest hummus(i would have preferred it with a little bit of more garlic), hot pitta bread and crunchy-outside/creamy-inside falafel. The baklava was one of the best ones i have had lately, so light, crunchy and buttery… If it werent summer i would had taken several to-go ;P The truck has not been open for long but i wish them the best, with that food and service they should do really well. Plus, the owner is very young… success right on the corner. I’ll be back!!!
