Baptist Health Urgent Care Centers

Totally a scam. I went here because I saw it advertised as great care at a great price. Not so. The only good thing about this place is that I didn’t have to wait to be seen.
I had a pain that I self diagnosed as either inflammation or infection. Only thing required was one catscan. Definitely not an X-​Ray, urine test, etc. These things were literally forced on to me. I had to say no several times, say I didn’t have to pee because they opened the kit without even asking me.
I left and later got a bill for $ 700 for visiting, then the cost of the catscan + 1−2k in other fees and charges. I didn’t actually receive a bill until 1 year after I went there, so it was surprising. Insane.
The lab tech did help prevent these awful nurses from throwing other unnecessary expenses on me to some degree.
Go to a separate minute clinic. Every baptist, hospital or baptist urgent care center is looking for blood money.
Extremely unprofessional, and online pay system shows you records of YOUR payments, not what THEY charged you for. You need to call between 9−4pm weekdays to even understand what entails the costs.

Horrible service!!! Went in for an x-​ray to check for a possible fracture. Was never formally seen by a physician. Was later told that the gentleman that walked into the exam room for literally 5 seconds upon my arrival, who never identified himself and was wearing no identification was the doctor on call. Major lack of communication and extremely unprofessional. I was never diagnosed until I asked a nurse who was trying to discharge me. People go there to be cared for, Properly diagnosed and given follow up recommendations. This is an urgent care facility, treat your patients properly! Will never go back there.

They really take great care of you here. They were very friendly and the wait wasn’t too long. They even told me to come back during their slower periods. Basic doctors and services.

…the plus side is, you get seen quickly. The bedside manners need to improve…

Very quick and friendly service. Nurses and doctors were very helpful and i was in and out in about an hour. They offer prescription services as well here too so you do not have to go to your local pharmacy if you’d like to get your medications or antibiotics right away.

Took my bf there a few weeks ago with a broken foot. VERY prompt & friendly service! Conveniently located within a few blocks from our home & surprisingly enough, it was not packed on a Saturday.
We were very glad that we didn’t go to an ER!
