4 stars Only 2 complaints(and reason for –1 star) is that I only noticed one section of «bathrooms»(portos) and they were at the farthest corner of the perimeter. The other complaint is the pricing for the beer/drinks. You have a sign that that reads«$ 7 for beer, gratuity and taxes included,» then it comes out to $ 8.75. Then the bartender says that they don’t have any change, so my 12 oz Heineken can, costs me $ 9– which is absurd. Have your sign state the actual price, and that it includes tax/gratuity. Thankfully, the Wynwood brewing company is right across the street, so you could go get a to go beer(a good one) for $ 6.50, and bring it back over. Or better yet, go grab a six pack and bring it in, as there is no bag check. This was the 3rd consecutive year for Basel House, this year they took over the old RC cola space in Wynwood. Also this year, the space was curated by NYC’s own Bushwick Collective, bringing together a huge crop of talented artists from all over the world. Not only was there live street art all day and night, but there was music too; DJ Khaled and Fat Joe, to name a few. There was also a selection of nearly 50 food trucks, from all over Miami. You wanna know the best thing about all of this? The entire event was free(no entry fee) and open to the public. This was the place to be for anyone who didn’t want to wait in line for any of the other parties at Basel. Each year they step up and eclipse what they did the year before. Can’t wait to return in 2016…
