This store is in desperate need for a make over. They have outdated and expensive items such as electronic stuff. The lines are horrible. Slow service every time i want to check out.

It’s cramped. It’s messy. It smells weird. It’s not that much cooler than outside. It’s cramped. it’s way unorganized. The floors are messy. Did I mention it’s cramped? Staff aren’t totally awesome, but they’re… alright, I guess. I think some of them speak English.(Unlike, you know, everywhere else.) They are kind of helpful, though, at times. Expect to have isles narrow enough you can barely push a cart through, a lot of noise, semi-helpful staff, and a LOT of disorganized messes. However, this is one of the most well stocked, diverse Big Lots’ I’ve seen in Miami, hands down. It has a decent amount of space in it, and there’s a very, very wide variety of items. Try NOT to go on a weekend– lines on the weekends can take like, half an hour. Not that great, especially with the lack of decent AC.

Big lots, you have your fair share of decent prices and deals. I know I come in here for rafts, coolers, and beach things, but thats about it. I once bought food from here and it was expired. My bad for noy checking the date but yout bad for keeping it on shelf. Sometimes I see good deals on furniture. I’ll still return but lately I’ve been leaving a little more empty handed.

It’s really the luck of the draw with this place but I’ve recently found that you don’t get the best deals here!

I really have to disagree with my fellow Unilocalers on this one on one point and one point alone – although this may take the cake on being the messiest, most disorganized Big Lots, they have the most variety and are the best stocked. This is my new favorite location, even over Coral Way, which is closer, cleaner, and more organized. Why? Well, the Flagler Big Lots has TONS of stuff you don’t even see elsewhere. Grills, mounds of furniture, a huge variety of nice art, discount bubble mailers(like from USPS) of different sizes for a buck or less, much wider selection of linen, and basically any and everything your heart may desire. Besides, the last time I went, I scored some of those cheap mailers to send of my Valentine’s Day stuff and a huge Sam’s club size variety pack of Kashi bars for $ 8. Hello?! Anybody know how cheap that is? I got 12 coconut chocolate bars, six pumpkin, and 6 chocolate raspberry – yes, 4 boxes in one giant pack – for 8 bucks! That’s even significantly cheaper than buying on sale at Target, where they’re already pretty reasonable. The staff here was actually nice and, believe it or not, very HELPFUL. Who the heck knew, not only helpful service in Miami, but in Big Lots! This place is a total goldmine for food(I never even see any food in the Coral Way location worth buying), décor, and everything. I question why i just shared my secret because now I’m risking having all of this stuff change :(. Well, consider it my thanks for sharing with me. Enjoy!
