Just stopped for my first time here. Will definitely come back! Fresh amazing arepas, super hot hot sauce also homemade. So fresh, interesting presentations. I saw tequenos in a little hammock.. Will have to try ! Highly recommend! !

The food is good and the delivery guy was very nice and kind but are cooking with cumin in excessive and that is not too venezuelan :(once you guys start to cook without cumin like that will be delicious :)

This is a tiny restaurant with no more than 4 tables. A place to grab a quick bite since they have lunch specials during the week. I ordered their famous hallacas during the holidays. I must say I was a bit disappointed. The portion was quite small for the price and poor taste for something that it is supposed to be well elaborated! I will give them another chance and try other dishes but not sure if they are authentic any more!

The place looks good from a customer perspective and I’ve had previously eaten Venezuelan food, and the PEPITO from here was not good at all, it was served to me cold not even warmed and when the issue was brought to the waitress she did not even apologized for it i will not come back here just by the way my complaint was handled. I would appreciate if at least an apology was served but it was not

Peor plato navideño y asado negro que jamás haya probado. Los desayunos y los jugos son excelente. El asado estaba seco, duro y muy dulce, el plato navideño el pernil tenía mucha grasa y estaba dulce, la ensalada estaba dulce, el pan no estaba fresco y la hallaca estaba insípida. Sorry #budarebistro pero deberían mejorar la calidad.

I cannot believe this place has been open for 5 years… I never even heard about it… The location doesn’t help, it is close to brickell but kind of hiding in a small shopping center. The place is tiny, we went for lunch on a Thursday and it was pretty busy. Service was good.
The empanadas for starter are the frozen kind not too good and their «fresh» juices are from frozen pulp as well… But well i have to say their arepas rellenas were pretty good, for a quick snack is worth trying it. Not a place for eating healthy, but for a once in a while meat + carb + fat meal. Thumbs up for small businesses!

I love the deditos de queso (tequeños) nice place but a little too expensive… They have nice staff and a good ambiance but they should move to a bigger place, everytime i go its full, its hard to find table.

I was recommended of this place by two Venezuelan friends. My boyfriend is Venezuelan and we were visiting Miami. So we went there to have my Venezuelan food experience. I really like the food. I had sample platter which is a good option for a first time visitor. I had the Reyna pepeada arepa. Love it.
The service is good. They took a little while to give us our order

I am reviewing solely on a pick up experience. The site says too opening times– 9 and 10am. We were calling between 1015 – 1045 and no one picked up. We called about 5 times before someone finally answered. I don’t know what was going on with that, but it was a little off-​putting.
Our sampler platters were ready to be picked up when they said they would and the food was great! I tried a little of everything, and it was all warm, delicious and with a lot of cheesy goodness. The dipping sauces, although mysterious, were also winners!
I’d definitely love to go back to this place when in Miami!

I came here for the first time about two weeks ago. All I have to say is AMAZING! The place is kind of small and cramped but the food is totally worth it. I had the cachapas and wow! I will definitely come back for those and maybe try a few more things on the menu.

Part of me almost wishes I never discovered this spot because it is so delicious that I might end up coming here multiple times a week and that would not be good news for my diet.
I tried the Budare sampler and everything was on point, particularly the cachapas. I’ve been thinking about them since I woke up the next day. I’m not Venezuelan but if Budare is as authentic as my Venezuelan friends say, I have a whole new appreciation for this cuisine. This place is definitely worth checking out!

Fui con mi esposo y mi hijo, pedimos el Budare sampler y el desayuno criollo. El Budare sampler estaba perfecto, las empanadas tostaditas y calientes, las mandocas divinas. Las cachapas muy buenas y el queso y la crema ni se diga!
El desayuno criollo vino con unos frijoles negros exquisitos! Realmente todo estuvo como si lo hubiese preparado la abuelita de la familia. Divino!

I have been here two times and the food is always delicious. Today my boyfriend and I had the pabellón criollo and my girlfriend had the cachapa con queso. It was absolutely delicious and the price it’s worth what you get. Definitely will come back again. Delicious!

Quisiera comentar mi experiencia en este lugar.
He ido muchas veces, y casi siempre como lo mismo, la cachapa es una delicia, me atrevo a decir que no probé una así en Venezuela. Su patacón muy rico, puedo recomendar sus jugos también.
Aún no he tenido la oportunidad de ir para los almuerzos, así que no puedo opinar de lo que no se, mi experiencia ha sido buena hasta ahora.
Qué le falta a Budare para tener la quinta estrella?
Que no se olviden de los clientes que se sientan en la parte de afuera, es muy importante, no pasen tanto tiempo sin atenderlos y siempre mejorar su atención al cliente en general. Es la clave para mantener el business.

The best thing about this place is that they are open super late specially on the weekends. The place is small but the service is normally fast and good.
We really enjoy the arepas every time we visit, they are very well made and big. Also the fillings are good and the presentation is comparable to a true Venezuelan arepera.
The tequeños are really tasty and we love the guava and cheese and Nutella versions.
The waiters are super nice and always runing around the tables. The only thing that I can criticize is the seasoning of the rice and beans. I had the pabellon criollo the other day and the rice and beans were completely bland. The meat (carne mechada) though was very nice.
The mandocas are also pretty good and a good way to start your meal. They have also specials and during the holidays they serve traditional Venezuelan plates.
A place to come back to for sure.

Antes de pedir el plato navideño por favor pregunten. Por no preguntar me cobraron $ 18.50 por un plato navideño normal y corriente, me parece la mayor estafa en este tipo de restaurantes que tienen un estilo mas familiar y económico.
No lo vuelvo a pedir.

Went here today and got the Arepa Budare with Steak. The steak was not what I thought it would be. My jaw was in pain from trying to chew it enough to get it down. Sometimes you can get away with a bit of chewiness if you cut the pieces down a little smaller, but these were bigger than bite size and hard to get down if you ended up with a whole, chewy piece. The tequenos were pretty good, that is the only reason this gets 2 stars from me. The service was awkward and not too great either.
My favorite arepa place, Doggis, is right down the street, and it has never let me down. I will never go to Budare again.

Had the patacon con carne and the mini empanadas de queso y de carne (shared between 3 people, as we weren’t starving), and the food was very tasty. Don’t skip the sauces they give you… they are very good. I didn’t dine at the restaurant, as we ordered takeout, but the person who attended to me was very pleasant and friendly.
