Buffalo Run Casino & Resort

The Coleman house is lovely and would be my go to fancy place – IF it had a restaurant entrance. It does not, so we never get to go. A side entrance is a must add!

The casino is nice and the hotel is acceptable, though housekeeping is less than detail-​oriented. They brought in new towels, but failed to make the bed and restock the toilet paper, for example.
The Coleman House is what really drags down the rating, though. The service was excellent, but the food was very disappointing. My wife and I had the 16 ounce bone in ribeye steaks, medium rare. First, almost every steak at the table (there were 5 of us) came out medium well. We sent them back and received replacements cooked properly.
Our steaks weren’t awful, but they lacked texture (no «crust») and were very, very under seasoned. This is what you expect from a steak at the Waffle House, not from a restaurant that charges $ 29 a pop for the ribeye. Very amateurish performance from the kitchen.
Excellent service, disappointing food.

I find casinos fascinating. I am working on a sociology degree and this environment is the perfect place to watch interactions towards thos single minded goal. I came as a guest for the hotel and the casino was a bonus. We know the standard attire is a sweatshirt and jeans, so there isnt a feeling to be under dressed, ever. The camaraderie is incredible too. Somehow everyone wants to win a jackpot and at the same time they want to win. Seeing as there are hundreds of machines its viewed as less of a lottery and more of a free for all. Buffalo Run is clean and their air ciculation has improved based on past reviews. They have new up to date machines with all the 3-​D multi game machines. Lucky Duck and Mr. Money Bags are big in Oklahoma but not really new. It took me two hours to spend 20 $ because I was in awe of the info the machines give you. You can see the last time it paid a large amount and the largest payout its ever given. Do you want a machine that gave 2200 $ just 4 hours ago or 500 $ two days ago? How does a layman make that judgement?! Bring your lucky dice, rabbit foot, your sports jersey you know helps the home team win and take a stroll to find what could be your next pay day.

I’ve never been in a worst environment for cigarette smoke!
I went here to see Rodney Carrington, who was great! There is no smoking inside the «entertainment» area so all the smokers (who should be outside) foul the air in the casino!
Dealers were friendly and patrons well behaved at the tables I played at!
I can’t go back because my head can’t take the smoke…
