Came here based on a lot of people’s recommendation but idk I wasn’t wow’d. I got the spicy tuna burrito and I can’t say it was my favorite. The Flavors were completely forgettable. Maybe it was just the roll I ordered but all I can say is meh.

Today was my first time visiting this restaurant. It’s location in downtown isn’t the best, trying to find decently priced parking required going around the neighboring blocks 5+ times. However, the food definitely makes up for it! For starters, we had the nachos which were delicious! It had crunchy fried wonton chips, with avocado, porks, and tomatoes. My mom and I shared the Mt. Fuji sushi burrito which was to die for!!! We also had the thai donuts which were super warm, fluffy, and delicious! I would definitely recommend this place, and go again!

Burrito san is great place to grab a quick lunch downtown. The food is good and fresh and it’s not too pricey. I really like the concept of one giant sushi roll. My favorite thing in the menu is chicken masala roll. If you’re in the downtown area you should definitely check it out.

There Asian nachos and Thai donuts were amazing! The sushirrito was messy to eat but it was good. Didn’t quite like the Siam Kiss, but I think it’s personal preference.

I absolutely love this restaurant. Their food is fresh, healthy, and delicious. They even have vegetarian/vegan options! The wait time for your food is minimal for dine in and even if you deliver they are very quick. I have ordered the Buddha burrito roll and tofu burrito roll from here and Thai donut rolls. Both rolls are delicious but I would definitely recommend getting the donut rolls! Overall, I have had a great experience every time I order from here.

Burrito San was such a great place to grab lunch! Conventionality located in downtown Miami, this place serves up delicious and gigantic size sushi rolls(aka sushi burritos). They have a selection of burritos, salads and small bites. I would definitely recommend the burritos since it’s their specialty here. We loved the seoul tower and the terruk shirmp, however the Mt. Fuji was probably the best since it was both sweet and savory. And the chips that go with the burritos are SOGOOD… they are basically wonton style chips tossed in a savory spice. yum! The portions are large here, I could really only finish half of my burrito. And it can also get really messy eating it, everything falls apart. Maybe the nori isn’t as fresh? Because it was certainly hard to bite through. Nonetheless, the flavours of the burritos were there and the fish tasted fresh.

This place came as a surprise when I was walking randomly in Downtown Miami before working and wanted to grab some food. I ordered Beef Korean as salad. It’s is so flavorful and well balanced tastes of kimchi, quinoa cucumber, and the beef is so juicy.

First off, as someone who identifies as Filipino, I was incredibly proud and excited to see a «Filipino Breakfast» burrito option on the menu — and seeing non-Filipinos order it made my heart flutter. Why? Because Filipino food doesn’t get the same love as other cuisines — especially outside of the West Coast. Okay, so now that I got those thoughts off my chest… Burrito San is grrrreat! My friend and I needed to take a break from work and suggested we try this spot not too far from our conference. I’m so glad she recommended this place. The concept reminds me of something popular in San Francisco: seaweed-wrapped«burritos» stuffed with(typically) ingredients you’d find in maki. I ordered the Siam Kiss which consisted of lemongrass-flavored chicken, papaya slaw, pickled jalapenos, peanuts, and a nuoc mam sauce. This was served with some very unique and delicious chips. At $ 9, personally I feel this was a good value. I was full but didn’t feel like I had to nap afterward. There is also plenty of seating inside and outside — and since we were visiting Miami… duhhhh! We sat outside. The downside: it gets a bit busy and hectic. We went on a Friday afternoon so that might’ve been part of the reason why it was a bit frenetic near the pick-up area. It was a workday lunch hour so I bet this is a hot spot for downtown Miami workers. Overall, I thought Burrito San was pretty good and I wouldn’t mind returning the next time I find myself in town.

«Would you like some rice and salmon with your teriyaki sauce?» That’s what it felt like with the Teriyaki Dream burrito that I ordered few nights ago. It was my first time there and first time having a sushi burrito aside from the«spam sushi» burritos my friend, Huong, would make, which are delicious by the way. The Teriyaki Dream burrito came with chips. They are made in house I think, looked like tortilla chips and tasted confusing. They were salty and sweet, more so sweet. The burrito fell apart easily and as one of my friends said that night, «What’s the point of ordering brown rice if the white rice is going to be brown anyways?» Referring to how much teriyaki sauce there was that literally drenched every grain of white rice that was in the burrito. The salmon in the burrito was dry and not very appetizing. Maybe I am just a little spoiled from seeing fresh salmon frequently before. The burrito was hard to bite into, every bite led to something falling out on the bottom, and of course, the teriyaki sauces kept dripping nonstop. I did not enjoy the burrito, but the friend that I shared with liked it. So it’s a matter of opinions. This burrito wasn’t for me but it’s a great concept. Service was fair. We ordered from the counter and received a beeper to pick up our food when the beeper goes off. I got a free cup(saved $ 2) from the Unilocal check in but used it for water instead.

This place is fire! On a beautiful Miami day I embarked on a little walk from Edgewater to Downtown Miami on a mission: to eat at Burrito San. Sure I could have driven here, but what’s the fun in that? Upon arrival I checked in, which was a good thing as Unilocal!has a check in special for a free fountain drink. I ordered the tofu salad bowl, Szechuan eggplant and got my free drink. For drink options they have your standard soda fountain — but what caught my eye were their organic unsweetened teas. They had the option of peach and lemongrass green tea. I had a serving of each and they were so refreshing after my walk! Now onto the best part. The food! It was so good. The salad didn’t even need dressing because the tofu comes in a spectacular sauce. They put some carrot shavings, quinoa, buckwheat, fresh crisp greens and some crispy wontons(which I didn’t eat– you know trying to be healthy and all.*sigh).all in all it was solid 10. Truly delicious! The Szechuan eggplant was full of flavor. Not to mention that both portions were quite big. I couldn’t even finish the salad on its own. The people who work there are courteous and attentive. The place is really comfortable. Indoors for those who need AC, very clean. The outdoor area is nice and shady for people watching. I absolutely loved this place. Burrito San hasn’t seen the last of me yet!

Burrito? Yes! No, wait, Sushi? Yes! It’s both! With great ideas sometimes come great outcome! It was the case when I visited Burrito San in downtown Miami this past weekend. We had heard about this place only by way of a close friend on Unilocal( ) and also by way of the South Beach Wine and Food Festival we attended a little while back and the reviews are real and great. Colorful and clean when you enter and so much more to boot as you progress. The spot, while is in downtown, usually a pet peeve of mine for parking and egress, is not as terrible as I would lead to believe. On a Saturday, it was not bad at all to find street parking just a block away, and yes, that is great for downtown any day. They advertise a dollar to park in a nearby garage, but I feel that usually takes more time. Try it and let me know. Once inside, the green and silver and clean colors will take you away, not your average burrito joint or Asian inspired joint either. It is a walk up counter service style, with chef preparing behind a glass food prep area so all is open to see the magic. And it is. The menu is relatively simple for the types of items they have, and while they could have many options, they leave it easy to decide. We had tried the ginger tofu roll ad SOBEWFF and it was amazing, so we had to get the whole, real thing, but also split a Salmon Teriyaki roll, which, while was not as flavorful, was great too. The service is quick and friendly and the seating area inside and outside is plenty for lunch crowds and any other time. I would venture to say this place can get mighty busy for a week day lunch crowd, so call ahead perhaps and pick up. You will not be disappointed.

Burrito-san is great take out place. I regularly use Eat24 to order from here and I am never disappointed. They have a great selection of fresh rolls, from the Masala Chicken Roll, the Mt Fuji, and the Korean Beef, all of them are amazing. The BBQ chip side order that come with the rolls are super addictive. The Asian Nachos are those BBQ chips with avacado, tomato, and marinated meat make the perfect fusion. The two side orders I regularly have are the eggplant and the Bak Choi, both are really tasty. Overall I would say the whole place has a west coast taste about it. Only comment I have is that they have a loyalty program which I have not figured out how to use inconjuction with Eat24.

I was so excited to hear about burrito San. Working downtown can lead to eating at the same restaurants over and over, and a healthy alternative can be hard to come by. I’ve been twice now, and am giving this review on average of my two visits. My first visit was great — fresh fish in a yummy sushi burrito. Served with a side of the most amazing wonton chips I had ever had. However, today was the opposite. I opted for the same choice as last time — the Seoul spicy tuna burrito with brown rice. My burrito was wrapped so loose that from the first bite it was falling apart. The wonton chips were not what I had eagerly looked forward to — half were burnt and they had seriously skimped on the sweet delicious seasoning. If the experiences here can be consistent, I’ll definitely be frequenting this place.

Surprisingly really great«sushi» burritos in the area. Sushi in quotes because the only raw fish they had was spicy tuna. The have other meats in their burritos like pulled pork and beef. I had the Mt. Fuji which had spicy tuna as the protein. This was really good! Boyfriend had the beefy korean, which was good, but not as good as the Mt. Fuji. We also had the miso soup, which had veggies in it, which was a nice surprise. We also shared the pulled pork nachos, which were amazing. I definitely recommend trying that. Service here was phenomenal. For some reason, our beeper didn’t go off and the manager/owner walked the food over to us and then walked back to get us utensils. During our meal, he asked us if everything was okay and if we enjoyed the food.

BUrrito-San is one of those place that would totally work in LA/Santa Monica Area in California. As a person from California, this taps the perfect options for people that want to feel healthy at the same time want a good portion of food and it looks good and healthy all over. This Miami Fusion is awesome and should tap outside Florida and start expanding to California! *Mt. Fuji — This is one of the few options of Sushi Burrito. This is both purely awesome and feels healthy. lots of leafy great and a medium amount of tuna, than I am used to. I would prefer more meat, but I always prefer it. It was awesome and it was tasty. *Filipino Breakfast — This was a lot Jam Packed in one burrito. True to teh Filipino breafast and turning it into a burrito is awesome. This comes with pork egg and fried rice. Not much else you need! Service is perfect and here and they have unlimited soda. I like this place. And you guys should totally think about moving to high end LA, Hollywood, and Santa Monica, or even Little Tokyo. We are big Foodies there and you should go there.

I liked this place. I’ll admit that I have never heard of the concept of a sushi burrito before coming inside. And I’ll also admit that I’ve never heard of Sushirrito of San Francisco. But the idea is plausible, and the concept works. But in essence, if one did not know what a burrito was, this is really just an oversized sushi that is cut diagonally to make it look like a maki(a regular maki is not rolled, at least not from what I know). It’s certainly not as big as some Mexican burritos can be. But it’s also certainly thicker than a regular sushi roll. So again, the concept works. I had the Filipino Breakfast which has braised pork, scrambled egg, roasted garlic cloves, pickled onion, organic greens, banana ketchup, and Mt. Fuji which has raw sashimi tuna, avocado, crunchy wontons, Masago caviar, cucumber pickles, organic greens, scallion, mango sauce. While both were good, I liked Mt. Fuji more considering that it’s more sushi-like. One thing that may hurt in having me come back often is that it is a bit little overpriced considering it is not really as big as a burrito. But I’m still giving this place a solid four stars, because the quality of the ingredients were great. And reading their website, it makes sense: local and organic ingredients wherever possible, including hormone and antibiotic free poultry and pork products, and grass-fed beef, line caught tuna, and wild Alaskan salmon. And biting into them, it shows.

Sushi burritosssss. A dream that has become a reality. Now I have seen pics of sushirrito and I always was envious of Californians to have such a cool spot. I had no idea about burrito san until recently and I made it a point to go to downtown miami for it. I’m crazy like that… Anyways we came for a later lunch on a sat(around 2pm) it was not busy in burrito san. The parking situation was a bit annoying because of an event down there but is Miami you just gotta roll with it. I already knew I wanted the Mt. Fuji so I didn’t take a big look at the menu. The BF got the spare ribs large order. I had the option to add soup for 1 dollar and I chose to get miso. The gave us a number and we took a seat. Our buzzard went off pretty quickly. The Mt Fuji is essentially a burrito sized spicy tuna roll. It comes with these wonton type chips on the side. It was so good– pretty much what dreams are made of. The only compliant is that wasn’t that spicy for me so I used sirarcha. Next time I’ll probably ask them to make it Spicer. I tried some of the ribs and they had great flavor and it was a pretty decent portion size. The miso soup was forgettable and bland. Skip it. I wish this place was in Broward or they open another location in the broward or boca area *prayinggggg*.

Cute & clean. Burrito San makes for a good and healthy seeming lunch. The Mt. Fuji was tasty. I’d probably ask them to make the tuna spicier in the future though. The Filipino breakfast burrito wrapped in seaweed was better to my surprise. Overall, it had more flavor. I appreciate that the sides and desserts are affordable. I’m a fan of their environmentally packaging. Whoever did the marketing materials and design of the restaurant did a great job.

I just happened to be down in Miami with Jennifer F. and we found ourselves super hungry so we decided to take advantage of the offerings outside Broward and stay in Miami for dinner. Jen had Burrito San bookmarked and it was within walking distance of our location at Bayfront Park so we decided it was a go. It took me what seemed like forever to decide what I wanted because everything sounded so good. I finally went with the Beefy Korean burrito that had garlic beef, kimchee and pickled cucumbers with brown rice. It comes wrapped like a burrito but looks like a giant sushi roll. Genius! It even fell apart like a normal burrito so I ended up finishing it with a fork. The chips they serve with the burrito were equally as good. Slightly sweet with just a hint of heat. We wanted to try a few other menu items too so we ordered the Asian Nachos and Thai Donuts. The nachos were delicious. Light, crunchy chips with shredded pork, just the right amount of tomatoes and avocado and a to die for cilantro cream sauce. Next time I’m asking for that sauce on my burrito. The Thai donuts were served warm and covered in the condensed milk. We could not get enough. I really hope to see one of these open up in Broward soon because I really want to go back.

My first reaction was that it’s a clean place. I don’t know why I would expect anything less, but I guess it gives a refreshing feel somehow. I ordered the Mt Fuji, which has raw tuna, avocado, and spring greens. I was a bit disappointed in the lack of other raw fish options, considering it’s still sushi just in a burrito form. There was a Filipino breakfast option, which excited my Filipino roots, but I’ll have to try that another time. The sushi burritos come with wonton chips, which is a nice touch. The seasoning on them was on point and might even be my fave of the meal. My Mt Fuji was good, but I wish they had wrapped it just a little tighter. It kept falling apart. Mark A. & I noticed the Thai donuts on the menu, so we had to splurge and order it for dessert. Freshly made, still warm, covered in powdered sugar, then drenched with condensed milk. Yum! Burrito San delivers, and luckily for me, my work is just within their delivery radius. So I may be trying more of their menu items in the near future.
