This little spot is part of a small series of shops connected to the Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay. We needed a close breakfast spot so we chose this place. PREFACE: it’s not just THIS place, but everywhere in Miami is slow to serve. With that in mind, the service was even slower than we’ve been experiencing these last 24 hours. Our server Juan was pretty disconnected from us, simply just wanting to the serve the table with zero ounces of relationship. I’m not a fan of that. The food wasn’t half bad but I wasn’t expecting much in the way of taste and presentation. I ordered the steak and eggs with a side of bacon. The steak was juicy(good), the eggs had been sitting under lights(bad), and the bacon was perfectly crispy(great). The price was reasonable but the breakfast menu was shallow. There were maybe 20 total meal combinations among a short list of side items. Asking for a refill on coffee or water took forever and the initial wait for food was on the business end of 30 minutes. If you’re staying at the Miami Marriott, go somewhere else.

Just a note about technology. I’m sitting in this restaurant, eating breakfast, and can’t get a gps lock because I’m right on the bay. Yet Unilocal tells me I’m too far away to check in. Gotta laugh. The portions at Los Gauchitos II are good sized and the food(breakfast), although basically American, is fresh. Fresh coffee(American or Cuban) and water glasses were refilled frequently. There were gaps in service where all the staff seemed to be absent and diners as well as not-yet-seated diners — waited. The restaurant is located in the Hilton Grand Doubletree and is great for a quick convenient meal before you explore Miami.

The service was slow and the staff struggle to speak English. It is in the Double Tree building and you get a coupon to use but it is difficult to charge to the room.

A cute little restaurant within The Grand, that offers a great breakfast menu. Places in Miami seem to enjoy promoting their breakfast menus. I don’t mind this since I love breakfast and will eat it at all times of the day/night. My friends and I were hungry and decided to pop in since it was 11AM and everywhere else was beginning to go to their lunch menus. The menu is basic but has something for everyone. I went with the American breakfast which consisted of two eggs, bacon, sausage, and potatoes. The potatoes were some of the best I have ever had. The eggs were okay, the bacon was a bit dry. They also offer pineapple juice(which is complimentary with their breakfast items) so I was happy about that, too. Service here is slow but that seems to be an ongoing issue in Miami.

Great service After a long meeting and driving I isn’t feel like driving all way to south beach, so off to hotel compound for a quick bite. This place was recommended by the hotel. Service was fast and friendly. Notsure why I’m the first reviewing this place. Supposed to be algebtinian, but menu consists of usual steak, seafood, and pasta.
