The first time I came here the food was amazing! From the lava brownie desert to the steak I ate. I was dying to go back this year, when I did. The food wasn’t the same anymore. I received my steak burnt, and the lava desert they had did not taste good at all. I wasn’t able to return the steak because of limited time, and the food took long to come itself. Not what it was over a year ago. The view however is beautiful itself. We spent over $ 100 for two and the meal was just horrible.

This place has one of the lost amazing view touching the sea. Went during Miami Spice(Miami Restaurant Month), so I ordered from the special menu, $ 39.99 for 3 courses. The food took forever to come. Dinner literally took more than 2 hours! And the waiter could see we were clearly annoyed. Even the check took 15minutes to get back to us. The food was ok. The entrée was a little too salty. Overall, it’s a chill place for family/friends to chill. There was a group of family next to us and they seemed they had a lot of fun. Just Not to much when I was traveling for business purposes and couldn’t afford 2.5 hours for one meal. Also, if you were to dine there after 8:30pm, I’d suggest you sitting inside. I had literally 20 mosquito bites after that meal. Not happy.

Very disappointed in the service of this place. Only one waitress during our three hours here. Very slow service. Interior is really nice. Tried the Happy hour menu was surprised and liked the food. Recommend ordering two drinks at a time, because of slow service.

I took a star because the service was bad and another because my very expensive shrimp and crab tower was served with no shrimp. When I let my server know he went back to the kitchen and reappeared with two shrimp. The rest of the food was good and the view of the bay made the ambiance very nice. I suspect the service issue is a management issue and not the servers fault. Or maybe by the chart house is closing and they don’t care anymore.

This place sucks. They can’t seem to get bartenders that hear the difference between mahi tacos and shrimp tacos. 20 later I had to remind John that I ordered Mahi tacos. Wrong order. The manager said«it’s a work in progress«NOT. issues for over a year and a half here. Whatever it is, happy hour is never HAPPY here.

Service is professional and helpful(which is very important to my dining experience). I suggest you sit outside for a nice marina/ocean side view. Order their margarita for sure!!!

One star for the beautiful location and(despite what others have said here), great service. That’s where I have to stop the praise. I dined here as part of a group and ordered the chopped salad, shrimp scampi over linguine, and creame brûlée, from a scaled down menu offered to our large group. The chopped salad looked not only chopped but as if had been run thru a food processor and was not at all fresh. and very spicy(strange). Both the linguine and shrimp were severely overcooked and lacked taste. Where was the garlic. where was the butter. and really the tail shells of the shrimp could not be pried off, they were so dry. Clumps of overcooked linguine accompanied them. Finally, the creame brûlée came out… it had no brûlée(no hard sugar crust) and the custard was literally liquid… not a hint of firmness. I wish I were exaggerating, but alas, it was just that bad.

Meh. I was so excited to come here after a wonderful experience at the Daytona location years ago. Sadly, this didn’t live up to my expectations. For one thing, the service was subpar. Our server kept passing our table to pay attention to other tables around us, but it took at least 15 minutes to even get a glass of water. By the time anyone asked us what we wanted for an appetizer, we were all ready to order our entire meal. Throughout the meal, our server made a big deal of not being able to take away many plates from the table at once. I understand that everyone’s level of physical ability is different, but there’s no need to make a huge fuss over not being able to take plates away from the table. He would tell us to hang on when we were trying to help out and bring plates to the front of the table so he could take them when he was ready. It was strange. We ordered the calamari for an appetizer, and my husband and I tried soups. He had the lobster bisque, and I had the clam chowder. The soups were delicious and the calamari was great as well. It had a bit of an Asian flare to it because of the kimchi that was on top. There were also a lot of vegetables in there that were fried in the same batter as the calamari, which I enjoyed. For dinner, three of us had the Snapper Hemingway, and my brother-in-law had the prime rib. I’ve had the Snapper Hemingway before and really enjoyed it, but this time it was just ok for me. I wish there had been some more of the lemon-butter sauce on top. I found myself staring at the prime rib across the table from me and wishing I’d ordered that instead. We ended our meal with the chocolate lava cake, but the lava wasn’t actually melted like it should have been. I got the sense that the cake had been baked and sat for a bit. Overall, I wasn’t super impressed with the experience for the price, which is a shame. I wouldn’t be in a hurry to go back.

Tucked away beneath all the rubble that CocoGrove has to offer, is this little entrecôte. Massive breathtaking architectural wood panes with clean sheets of glass overlooking the beautiful water; its definitely a speakeasy. Rumored to be knocked down with the new negotiations of the recent area purchase; my opinion is that is should stay standing. I mean… why on earth not?! Scenery is nice; staff is friendly, view is definitely rare, and the prices are almost unbeatable(during happy hour). My bartenders name was Erica & she was a sweetie. At first, I tried the pomegranate martini and then I ventured to other creations i vividly assisted in creating. My coworker ordered the tuna tartare and the other one ordered the shrimp tacos. Since they flew off the table, in guessing they were divine. i had a bite from the BBQ something and it tasted like victory. When looking for a small, quaint, yet cozy picturesque spot for a snack And a cocktail– this is your spot.

You gotta love a good happy hour while traveling on business. Hands-down… one of the best finds. $ 6 or $ 7 apps from 4−8pm and $ 5 or $ 6 wines. Not too shabby. Had the chicken lettuce wraps, kim chee calamari, and the soup sampler off the regular menu. Lettuce wraps weren’t substantial, but for $ 6, I’m not complaining. Kim chee calamari was more like an aioli or rock shrimp sauce than kim chee. I get where they were going with it… but it didn’t quite jive. The soup sampler was genius. $ 8 for full ramekins of their selection of 3 soups(clam chowder, lobster bisque, and gazpacho). I love a good soup collection, I cannot tell a lie. So all in all, the whole meal only came to about $ 25 with wine and was pretty substantial. View is amazing. Sit outside unless there’s a monsoon, as their sunset is breathtaking.

This was one of the most frustrating and disgusting dinners I’ve ever had. The restaurant was maybe 20 percent full, yet it took 30 minutes to get our first round of drinks. Granted, we were a large group, but there should have been more than sufficient waitstaff based on how empty the rest of the restaurant was. The temperature was gross because the air conditioning was not on high enough. By the time we finished our dinner, it was a 2-hour-50-minute experience. Ridiculous. The appetizers and salads were blah, and the entrees were dried out and nowhere near fresh. In fact, more than half of us quit eating halfway through because a swarm of bugs had landed on our plates. I’ve eaten at food trucks and nasty greasy spoons with more sanitary conditions than this place. Gross.

Ugggggg, it kinda kills me to give this review because i only came here on Easter with my family for brunch. So please note that this review is based on their Sunday brunch, not on anything a la cart — off the menu. I thought is was a bit pricey(almost $ 50 per person) and it did not include coffee, champagne, or anything. However, the champagne split was only $ 8 so that was not so bad. The food was ‘ok” that’s it! just«ok.» The Eggs Benedict, if you could snag one that was not completely demolished by the other patrons, were pretty good. However, good luck finding one that«looked» appetizing. The sauce was dried up, the bread was crushed, and the eggs had fallen off of most of them. While I understand this is the fault of the patrons, I feel it is the responsibility of the restaurant to have someone periodically checking up or manning the station. Speaking of manning the stations, they were out of plates CONSTANTLY! So aside form making a long line, you had to wait for plates to come out. The plates were scalding hot so I couldn’t put my shrimp cocktail or salad on them. Then they really got desperate and started bringing every plate they owned. Long plates, small plates, oval plates, square plates, black plates, white plates… Their plate selection was more varied than their food selection and that gave me the sads :( We ordered espresso and it was like a tiny little dollop of coffee. When I complained they said«that’s how it comes» to which I responded, «you guys need smaller cups to that it doesn’t ‘appear’ like highway robbery.» When we left, Valet took FOREVERAND A DAY to get our car. Wait, scratch that, it took him FOREVERAND2DAYS just to get my dang ticket! I had to call him over like 50 times. If my breast were bigger, I would have flashed him, but since they’re not, I had to wait and sweat like a beast. The view is nice and the champagne split was well priced. The service was ok. That’s it. If you are gonna do a Sunday Brunch, there are a MILLION other places in Miami If you’re wondering why I didn’t order off the menu, it is because they don’t allow you to do that on Easter Sunday.

The worst experience ever. I don’t mind paying for good meal but this one really hurt, It takes a lot for me to complain because I used to work in the restaurant industry so I try not to criticize. Out of all the restaurant I found surging for a great view and nice music where my girlfriend and I can enjoy a great meal with nice view I picked this one. She works in the industry and I think that takes a lot but I mean a lot for her to complain more than I do. She saw that I was so upset because it was our anniversary and that what really hurt me more. This restaurant its in a great area with nice view and with possibilities to have potential but they really need to retrained all personal starting with the management… Prices for the menu are ok because they have variety and with a better presentation plus management I would probably go back!

If I could put a half star consider it done. Yes, the Charthouse is a landmark, iconic destination restaurant — a one time memory-maker for celebrations of life. Birthdays, anniversaries, engagements, promotions, holiday parties and the like. Agreed. But the food is simply inedible. Forget that they charge typical steakhouse prices, which adds insult to injury! Honestly I couldn’t have swallowed a second bite if it was free!(Note: it all ended up being free since we three diners basically declared that we were abruptly leaving; halt and cancel the rest of our order.) Apps were devastatingly terrible. Romaine in Caesars was limp and wilted and bitter and soggy and basically reprehensible. I can’t go on. The nausea is returning. If you must go. Happy hour is potentially do-able with half-price drinks and cheap bar-bites. But HH patrons can’t sit on the delightful waterfront porch– only in the dark dingy bar area. Go to Scotty’s next door and pay full price. It’s a more authentic waterfront experience.

The food was great, but this has to be the worse service I have received in a long, long time. The server had no knowledge of the wine list. He left us without plates after we waited 20mins for bread. Our waters stayed empty and we constantly had to ask him to refill our glasses of wine, as we purchased a bottle and ended up pouring it mostly ourselves. After the entrees, he disappeared and we had yo wait another 20 mins just for desert, even though we ordered it mid way through dinner. All I have to say is go eat here, but if your waiter says he is Julio… ask to be moved. Worse service!

Such a romantic restaurant. Great view of the marina and complimentary valet parking! Reservations available As well as walk ins. My favorite drink is Fleur D’lis. It’s a fruity pineapple drink. Soooo good! I was disappointed though that they changed the crab cake. Before it was slightly drizzled with a mayonnaise sauce and now it’s DRENCHED on a Lemon and avocado sauce. Defeats the purpose of a crab cake. It’s more like a crab SOUP! So sad :( Now, the coconut shrimp are amazing! Butterflied to perfection! I highly recommend it as an appetizer as ell as the lobster bisque, my husbands favorite! For entrée I usually go with the filet mignon. And you MUST have the lava cake as a dessert! Do NOT go home without getting it.

The perfect place for a relaxing date night with your better half. In a city where noise, people and music surround us, chart house is the perfect place to enjoy each other and do it accompanied by great food. Housing one of the best lobster bisques in town, it is a place to have it as your appetizer along with their newly redesigned crab cake. Decorated with tropical Pico de Gallo under a lemon-cello sauce and spiral avocado sauce. Although it looks very appealing the lemon-cello taste does take away from the classic flavors of the crab cake. We just came for appetizers and dessert. The service is always impeccable and the drinks are a must try! If you like fruity strong drinks, then the blood and sand is yours to try. Nothing tops the lava cake dessert! So make sure you leave some room because it’s a house favorite!
