Quiet place. Aside from the ocassional crying child, it’s a peaceful place to go shoe shopping. It’s almost November so the flats and sandals have been replaced with high heeled boots and fluffy boots similar to the Uggs design. The shoe is still selling converse, vans, and keds as the staple sneakers. Socks and Nike backpacks can be found throughout the store. Store assistance(workers) are almost nonexistant since there seems to be only 3 – 4 workers on the floor. These workers are usually to busy restocking/organizing the shoe selection or too busy ringing up a customer at the cashier. It’s easy to find the shoe size you need since the shoe boxes are usually organized chronologically from smallest shoe size on the top of the stack to the largest shoe size on the bottom of the stack.

Not that great of selection. I wanted simple white canvas shoes for my 2 year old, and some boots, sexy but without a ridiculous heel for me. Strike out.

I’m not crazy about this place. I’m a shoe person and to my standards they do not offer a wide selection of shoes. I only saw maybe one or two rows of heels and one row of boots. It’s a shoe store, you should have more a shoe collection and styles with different colors. I wouldn’t come here unless, I had too because of a exchange for a friend.

Though not as big as DSW, Famous Footwear still has a variety of shoes to choose from. They also have good specials on their shoes. My bf and I bought our work out snekaers from here. They had a buy one get one 50% off sale. They carry a lot of brands including puma, madden girl, nine west, asics, and steve madden to name a few. The staff are always eager to help and are very friendly. This is always one of the places I go to when buying shoes. It is a good contrast to DSW, which sometimes has really unattractive shoes.
