Gap

I do very much like the Gap clothing, and this store is in a great location and carries a great deal of inventory. However whoever manages this store needs to oversee their operation a little closer. While we were patiently waiting to check out, the person who was working the register was having difficulty with a return and was pretty chatty, which is not appropriate when you have 5 people in line. By the time we got to the front of the line, 3 of the people in front of us had put their clothes back on the shelf and left. There were two other workers in the area, one was folding and the other was actually doing nothing at all, and neither of them ever approached the counter to work the other register. At least $ 200 of sales was lost from their seeming indifference to their customers.
This store probably has a great deal of impulse buyers and if they want to get that revenue, their register operation has to be much faster.

I love this store! The service is great. The staff is friendly and helpful. And for some reason I love the clothes in this store and not Aventura mall. This stores always seems to be having the right sale when I walk in.

I was very impressed with this store. They have some goofy shirts that I loved. I will be back to check out the rest of the clothes because I need stuff that fits me & everything is falling off of me. I love being skinny. That is all.

Generally, I’m not a big fan of the Gap. They’re seriously overpriced for what they are, and I typically find their clothes terribly boring.
However, they do make some decent basics. I like their jeans, t-​shirts and tanks — but that’s about it.
Their sizes also run unusually large — my guess is to cater to overweight Americans by making them think they’re three sizes smaller than they are. A 25 pant here is wayyyy larger than a 25 pant at most other stores. It annoys me when stores are inconsistent — especially when it comes to inches. Let’s just tell it like it is, retailers! Then we could all buy clothes without having to try them on — and be able to order online without a problem.
Anyway, this location isn’t bad. They have some good sales, so I stop in from time to time. Got some cute spring/​summer colored t-​shirts and tanks today for a decent price. Worth a visit!

You can say that one Gap is like the next, but honestly that wouldn’t be the truth.
Sure they have the same clothing (more or less, depending on how quickly they sell out) but the fact is that not all service is the same.
Gap quality is great, Gap sales even greater and what I like about this particular store is that I do get good solid service with a smile. When I am out and about with my out of town (and by town I mean country) in-​laws, shopping is a must and can get downright brain numbing so when we recently were here it was one of those moments that shopping became enjoyable.
THANKS! Its always refreshing because here in Miami service is always a hit or a miss.

Wow, you are an absolute Coconut Grove icon, and probably the longest standing store in Cocowalk. Your Gap store has been here as long as I can remember, but definitely for at least the last 15 years.
I have come to this store through out all of this time, and have always had great luck. From excellent sales (and I’m talking $ 5 pants and $ 3 tops), to finding the last XS of anything, I usually walk out of here a very happy camper, with my wallet still breathing easy. Always a plus after any shopping experience!
Most recently, I was here just about a week ago while having dinner with a friend in the Grove. I stopped in and snagged some adorable clothes for my niece and nephew that were on sale. A dress, a skirt, and some cute polo tops — all under $ 30.

Thank you for being so tried and true, Gap. :) The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and everyone is always willing to help. I guess it goes to show that GREAT consistent and reliable service really does help you go a long way.
