Goodwill Donation Center

Had 5 shopping bags of nice clothing to drop off; there was a sign on the door stating someone would be back at 12:30. We came back and the lady there said they were not taking donations?! If you are a drop location and are not taking donations, then stay closed. Remaining open only to advise every person who comes to make a donation that you refuse to accept it is in the poorest of taste. The zip code that this drop station is in is the best receiving area of Miami; I won’t inconvenience them again with my donation. Bad way to end 2015, Goodwill. We are happy to take things to Chapman Partnership where our donated items will not be sold for profit but will instead go straight into the hands of people who will both need and appreciate them.

This is just a drop off location, no shopping here. I prefer bringing my donations to this location because it’s conveniently located on US1 and has a drive through drop off. I can pull right up to the door and bring my things in. Or ask the staff to assist if it’s something heavy or big.
