hello raphael, thanks for responding on this public forum, i am adding a star for that.
firstly, there was no misunderstanding. perhaps the issue is miscommunication. you seem to have memories of the incident which surprises me as you were not at the store when i went in. this was probably a couple of weeks before i wrote my review. your narrative is misleading as it gives the impression that i personally talked to you because how detailed you described the situation. if i in fact spoke to you that afternoon, man you changed quite a lot. different skin tone, different hair. different guy. so lets make this clear. i did not talk to you.
your guy told me exactly this: its $ 200 for the new screen. we cant do it now but we can on monday, so come back then. NOBODY ELSE AROUND has the parts because WE DISTRIBUTE to all the other iphone repair shops in the area.
so i called «iTown Repair: iPhone & iPad Repairs» who are in midtown, not far away from your shop and guess what? they had the part and told me they would do it for $ 140 IF i paid in cash, which sounds fishy, right? so i didnt want to give them my business either.
also and just to clarify some facts you may not know about apple and the iphone 6. the iphone 6 was released on september 19, 2014. my review was written in march 2015, that is 6 months later.
the moment i made the decision to get an iphone, i knew what kind of gadget i was getting and its price. its not that $ 200 is not in my taste, what is not on my taste is when someone tries to lie to my face in order to get business. let me make you aware that i understand how the economy of small independent shops work. being that i live less than 10 blocks away from your shop, i would have been OK with paying extra for the convenience of not having to go to the apple store in south beach, which is 4 miles away from where i live. convenience has its price but such price should not be double. i got my screen fixed at the apple store for $ 108. your shop wanted to charge me $ 92 more. iTown Repair: iPhone & iPad Repairs wanted to charge me $ 32 more in cash and no receipt. so i made my choice and went for what seemed legit and actually cheaper.
here is what i suggest. fire whoever is doing this at your shop. i wouldnt even be surprised if that guy didnt work there anymore. i dont blame you even for wanting to charge $ 92 more than the apple store, what is ugly is being lied to. i was lied to the moment this character told me that nobody else had the parts. raphael, there is no room for misunderstandings here.
i do congratulate you for staying in business for 4 years on biscayne boulevard and i hope you take my review as a sign that perhaps youre hiring the wrong people. when your employees use the language of «nobody else has the parts», that gives the impression of being desperate, especially when its not true.

I was in Miami for a convention. My charger wasn’t working. Drove around in can for ½ hour looking for a place to help me. Was stressed because I had to get back to the conference.
They fixed my phone in like 2 seconds and didn’t charge me a penny! It was some gunk stuck up on the charger hole. Thought very nice to do it for free (especially after spending $ 25 on the cab).

I go on my Unilocal to write a review on a restaurant to find this review on my phone that I never wrote! So obviously while I was getting my phone fixed and they had my passcode, they went into my Unilocal app and wrote this review. That is first of all rude, false advertisement, and invasion of my privacy. Who knows, these people were probably looking all through my phone! My real review would be they fixed my phone for the mean time but completely over charged me, and about 2 weeks later the phone went haywire. They quoted a different price but then charged me more than what I would’ve paid for a new phone through insurance! I’m disgusted with this place and everytime u walk into the store it smells like weed. Don’t go here!

You got a broken phone this is the place to go get it fixed. The service is spot on, professional, quick and very efficient, the staff are courteous, knowledgeable and very kind. Pay the $ 20 fee to diagnose the problem and within a reasonable amount of time (less than two hours) they’ll contact you to let you know what’s wrong with it and if they can fix it, some things just can’t be fixed. But that’s what I like about the iPhone factory — honesty. It’ll save you both time and money something we all need more of.

Rude and dishonest. I called and asked for service pricing and when I walk in they try to charge an extra $ 100. She was very rude and walked away as I was trying to explain. They suck.

Fixed my shattered iphone right away with a nice check in discount.

Had them fix my phone not once but twice now. 1^st time my poor 5s needed a whole new casing, they did it for less than quoted after I explained to them I could get a replacement cheaper thru insurance. Plus I got the custom blue back plate to stunt on em. 2^nd time just needed the screen replaced cost me $ 130 more than I was hoping but was out the door in 15 mins. Knocking 1 star of as seems a little steep to me but they get the job done quickly. Be sure to check in for a free screen protector.

I love this place for all my iPhone needs! They have the coolest cases always and my husband always gets his screen fixed here and they do it in 30 min or so. Would def recommend this place to everyone :)

This place rocks! I dropped my new iPhone off the balcony of our apt. on the 33^rd floor of Opera Towers last night and this place fixed it! No joke, the phone fell 33 floors down and landed on the pool deck.

Amazing customer service. Great location in between midtown and downtown, right on 24^st and Biscayne. Convenient affordable and a quick repair. This phone shop is not like the rest of the phone shops you see around. I love it it’s clean and has good vibes. I had a really nice experience there. Originally was scared off by a review that claims they switched out the iPhone battery when the customer dropped it off. On second glance I saw that this was the only review from that Unilocaler and decided to ignore it after I felt the good energy of the affable woman I spoke with.
Be VERY wary of bad reviews from people who do not have a lot of reviews. It seems
sometimes these are false.
The lady was very sweet and nice and offered to fix my iPhone 4S screen for $ 85. When I checked in with Unilocal they have an offer to buy a $ 20 gift certificate for $ 10, so it ended up only costing $ 75. They use an excellent screen and did a great job. It is like I have a brand new phone now.
I will definitely be back if I ever have any phone issues.
