L.A. Boudoir Miami

I discovered this charming boutique at a Sassy City Chicks event a few years ago and have made it a point to stop in when I can. This is a woman owned business with high quality jewelry, accessories and men & women’s clothing. Whether you are looking for a Lily Pulitzer dress or skirt or a vintage inspired cocktail dress, you will find something great here.
I have bought a leopard-​print clutch, Lily Pulitzer dress, two jackets and a casual top that I have worn to death.
L.A. Boudoir is also a go-​to spot if you need props or wardrobe for photo shoots.

Super cute shop! So much to look through and such great quality pieces. Nice variety of new and vintage. I bought some sexy lingerie and stockings.

My aunt and uncle live in Miami Shores, when I came to visit I was starting my hunt for a unique and inexpensive wedding dress when my aunt suggested I try on her mother’s dress that she wore 50 years ago. She pulled this vintage wedding dress out of plastic rubbermaid container — it was a crumpled, yellow mess.
I tried it on anyway and much to my surprise it fit pretty well, but my aunts mother was 19 when she got married and had a 19″ waist with a size D cup — so it definitely needed some work in order make it look right on me.
We gave Lauren at L.A. Boudoir a call and she took one look at the dress and had some great ideas on how we could make it work. She even recommended a great dry cleaners for us.
I live in Los Angeles, so I was little worried about getting all the alteration and fitting done in time for the wedding when I only planned to come to Miami one time about a month or so before the big day.
Lauren however, is not only great at what she does but she’s also incredibly efficient. After only 3 or 4 fittings and alterations over the course of a week she got the dress into amazing condition! I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. Not to mention her incredible pricing.
Not only did she help design and alter my wedding dress, but she also outfitted a bunch of my family members for the wedding.
Trust this talented lady to make you look good!!!

Lauren is friendly and sincere and isn’t pushy with sales at all. This is my favorite vintage store in Miami. You can take your time in finding just the right item. Although the selection isn’t huge, the merchandise is well chosen and I always get compliments on the clothes that I buy here.
If you don’t find what you’re looking for on the first visit, go back. She restocks her merchandise quite often.

Great small boutique above UVA restaurant. The owner was very pleasant and doesnt follow you around (then again, it’s so small she really can’t, but you get what I mean). The prices are cheap to reasonable but the right size is hard to find. I’d come back again.

Awesome people! Very Beautiful boutique! Loads of vintage as well as handmade goodies making me wish my closet/​room looked like this boutique! The prices are not that bad either, surprisingly! Considering how fancy this place is, the sale rack has some great pieces as well. Check it out, its quite a treasure find!

When I went to visit an old friend at her art studio in Miami, I arrived a bit early. It turned out a few steps from her door is this little vintage clothing boutique which was just right for me right then. It is very sweetly arranged and classy. The light inside is nice and the items are beautifully displayed. I chanced upon a deco dress that fit perfectly. This dress was meant to dance in and that’s just what I’ve been feeling like doing. The owner has a wonderful eye and I just wish they were in my town. I wore my new dress right out of there.

I stumbled upon LA Boudoir one day after having lunch at Uva 69 and it quickly became my favorite vintage boutique! The décor is very cute and eclectic and unlike anything I have seen in Miami. It reminds me of vintage shops on the Lower East Side of NYC but even better and without the big pricetags. The merchandise mostly consists of well preserved vintage clothing and unique accessories, all at very reasonable prices. I have found the cutest handbags and vintage jewelery as well as a beautiful 50’s fur jacket — items that have become my new favorites! I am definitely becoming a regular!
I appreciate LA Boudoir even more after visiting some of the other vintage stores on Biscayne, which I found to be pricey and not nearly as nice as this place.
The owner, Lauren, is very friendly and helpful. Also met Lauren’s mom who was helping out on a Saturday and she was just the sweetest woman! Recently took my two girlfriends who were visiting from NY & Stockholm and the three of us went crazy in there. We all left with several pieces and my friends couldn’t stop talking about how much they loved the place.
I really hope this review helps others find this awesome boutique because it is a little hard to find. It is located inside the same building as Uva 69, upstairs in the back close to the parking lot (free parking for patrons). It is definitely worth a visit!
