We had the crème brûlée and the texture was terrible … It tasted like it had been sitting in the shelf for days

Everybody has their local work spot, their safe alternative, the go-to if you will when you just don’t want to think about it and need to eat something. For me, that’s La Provence. My typical lunch options are the prosciutto panini or a chicken ceaser salad, but this place is also the source of many a morning coffees, chocolate croissants, and macaroons. Not to mention, they have a cake, I don’t know the name, but it’s a custard type of cake… and it is AMAZING. Expensive, but amazing nonetheless. I’ll also give a shout out to the friendly staff who are willing to deal with my company’s shenanigans. They’ve even brought the food up to us! Thanks guys!

Just OK. Signs indicate artisanal French bakery. Everything is OK at best. Tastes store bought and unimaginative. Interior space feels like a cheap version of a chain restaurant. Nothing artisanal or French about it.

My review’s more like a 3.5, since I like their original take on the eggs benedict, but portion size is a problem. I stopped at LaProvence while running errands on the 24th and finding that my favorite brunch place was closed for the day. The cashiers were friendly, the space was clean and the soundtrack perfect for a casual meal. I was also loving their version of Eggs Benedict served with balsamic vinegar along with a rich tasty hollandaise. However, I was halfway thru my reading when I noticed my plate was empty and just had sauce. Thankfully I ordered a blueberry danish(nice and fluffy) and was able to finish the sauce. I mean, I’m not the size of a erstwhile rubenesque rapper, but suffice it to say I was hungry for a full mexican meal about 2 and half hours later. In summary, not bad but order plenty of pastries!

I live right down the block and come here often for a pastry or a nice latte. So much to choose from and they are so good! The employees here are tremendous and go out of their way to be nice to you. Really enjoy coming here

La Provence is fine the food and pastries are yummy, but every time i leave this place i just feel like everything was ok. I am never blown away or overly satisfied. If you are in the area I don’t think you will be disappointed, but there are definitely better choices in the area.

Delicious! I always order the breakfast croissant. It’s expensive but it comes with the area. Great spot for coffee and breakfast!

Eh… wish I hadn’t blown ten bucks here. Difficult to find parking, and the tart tasted like it had been in the case for a week. Nothing special :(go to Zack the Baker instead!

La provence has decreased their quality big time. Not great coffee, food, or prices. With all the options in Wynnwood, I rather spend my money somewhere else. They gave us a burned french toast.

Considering the are, this is a good alternative to Starbucks. The pastries are very nice, and they look homemade, coffee is not bad. There are 2 reasons why I give 3 stars and not 4: First one is price, one iced coffee and one muffin for $ 6 it‘s a bit too much from my point of view. And next, atmosphere, when I went there there was nobody, the place is very big and they put aircon very strong, there are a lot to flies around, just a few tables occupied… I felt the place was a bit«run down», I don´t know, it didn‘t give me the best impression. If I go back around there, I might choose it again because there are not so many nice coffee places in that area, but it can be better.

Hmmm. Maybe their pastries… But we ordered the eggs benedict, the croque madame, and the french toast. And to be honest, Id much rather eat at Denny’s. The hollandaise was gross, the bread on the benedicts saggy, the eggs poorly poached. The french toast was extremely eggy in flavor, more so than the egg of the croque itself. Which probably means the eggs had been there for a while… Just like when fish is too fishy. Service was super slow. Great croissants though. But if you’re eating something other than baked goods, take your money elsewhere.

The only reason I’m giving them 3 stars instead of 4 or 5 is because of the amount of waste they generate. They offer everything in plastic. I asked if they served the drinks(juice) in a normal glass and everything came out in plastic cups with plastic lids. When we were done I asked where the recycling bin was and the worker said oh we just throw everything in the trash. Not only would La Provence save costs but it would be doing the right thing if they would switch to real glasses and use less plastic materials. There also needs to be a separate recycling bin. Please do the right thing :)

Salads are on point, and so are sandwiches. I’m curious about trying the breakfast since I have a feeling it’ll be good. However, pastries are just OK. As other reviews mentioned, it can be a bit pricy, but it’s a cute little place for lunch since they also offer a special. Soups are always delicious!

I have only had the deserts here and that’s good enough for me. The cheesecake, tiramisu, & chocolate cake are all heavenly. A little pricey, but oh so worth it. I make sure to pay a visit to La Provence once a month…

I really thought that their breakfast sandwiches and desserts would be totally mind blowing because it’s a French Bakery but I was wrong! However, their croissants are Really good but their sandwiches are bland and need some love on them! The service-not bad. The décor-is nice, relaxing and the street view is pretty cool. The food-was okay tasting but wasn’t wowed by it. **Note: If you are dating a French person, they may feel right at home with these type of desserts… but for a chill Sunday morning brunch with a Laptop… this is a nice spot!!! So, check it… I ordered the Breakfast Croissant, which is Scrambled Eggs, Ham, Cheddar & Swiss Cheese on a Croissant and a side salad… it was cool but it needed salt and more flavor. Their coffee was strong but kinda good. I ordered the Blueberry Danish, which was a little bland but their Chocolate Almond Croissants were the real winners!!!

Such a delicious french bakery. The bread is good, like a carbs-anonymous worst nightmare good. The bread gets delivered fresh daily and is sold fast. Go early if bread is your thing. Now breakfast is my thing I kind of love it. The breakfast here is yummy! The french toast has great flavors. Flavors of creamy egg and cinnamon. Very nice and never burned. The eggs benny is always nice a solid breakfast choice even if its just bread and butter its yummy! They should have 4 stars for their pastries and cakes. That is were they shine. Omg the Le Fraisier(French strawberry shortcake) is like something you have to try once in your life. The almond custard tart is something amazing! In fact any if their custard tarts are delicious mixed fruit, strawberry, lemon it is all good eat it. They have these chocolate pastries does not matter which one you get just eat it and just relapse into chocolate nirvana don’t bother fighting it. Best part is that these teeny tiny deserts can be order in bigger party size versions! Do it. Best cakes ever an you can order bast on how many people will be eating it. 5 people 8 people or just you… having a moment with cake. But you have to pre order these because they do not make them on site. Now the sandwiches I never have any luck with them. Aside from the bread the ingredients just are not fresh. Not worth the calories and over priced thats why they got demoted to a 3 star rating.

Delicious salads, wraps and… DESSERTS! OMG! I’ve died and gone to heaven! The trio cake is a dream on a plate. We’ve ordered this plenty of times throughout the year for office birthdays. It’s my ultimate fave. Hear that, friends? My birthday is in December. My only wish is to have a Trio cake. Three layers of chocolate mousse all in one plate? Hashtag yes please! All day! The fact that I work so close to this place is dangerous. I digress. Le Provence is awesome. I’ve ordered the goat cheese salad and chicken avocado wrap(no sun-dried tomatoes)…both were excellent. My plan is to have everything on the menu by the end of the year.

Had a fruit tart and croissant. It was very good. The fruit tart crust was crispy and the filling weren’t too sweet. The fruits were fresh. I liked how they they had fresh squeezed orange juice.
