There no longer there I went and drove by it and it’s close. A long time ago they sold some good griot food lots of flavor and taste but I don’t know what happened to them anymore.

Whenever I am in Miami, this is one of the places I have to visit. I usually get the griot, rice and beans with friend plantain on the side. If you’re taking it to go, try calling in a head of time because you will have a long wait.

Been here a few times, the servers have always been friendly. greeting you as soon as you walk in, I usaually order a” griot simple” to go ie: fried pork with plantains only. If you get the complete then it comes with rice(always some type of rice and beans Congri style.) you have to ask for rice and beans(white rice). always have the Champagne cola to go with it. gotta go aHaitian style all the way. There may be a couple of peices of fat in there but never too many, there are also fresh fruit juices made with water or milk, your choice(depending on the fruit of course).

So i found the best restaurants tend to be the hole-in-the-wall style. So when i walked into this nice place with wine glasses, nice arrangement, and stage, i figured that the prices would be high, and the food would be sub par. WOW i was blown away. Haitian food is my favorite kind of food here in miami, and i have been to many. I can honestly say this is the BEST creole/haitian/caribbean food i have had. The griot was cooked perfectly. Their pikliz sauce is among the best id had. Really just all around great place. The service was awesome. Our waitress was very friendly and i was shocked that the place was empty. Really amazing! I should add most entrees are under $ 10.
