OMG my experience was just as horrid as everyone else’s I don’t understand how this place is still in business… may I add that the owner herself is super unprofessional. DONOTWAISTYOURTIMEORMONEY at this place. Technicians are nice but don’t know what they’re doing! Go a few blocks further up and find a cheap nicer salon I wouldn’t dare waist a penny here anymore.

I was thoroughly disappointed with trying to make an appointment for using my groupon, especially before it expires. I tried calling about a 2 months ago and no answer and even left a message. Called again about a month ago and the same. Finally got a hold of the booking person and they booked me two different times and then within a few days before they TEXTED me to tell me they canceled my appointment with no reason. Not even I called back to reschedule and left several emails and messages so I

This is the WORST business ever!!! After coming in to have a «bleaching» done, only to be told that it was a consultation and to leave a deposit if $ 100 and come back a few days after. So I return a few days after to a closed facility. I called the place while standing at the front door, and the guy that answers the phone is the same guy that set my appointment and took my deposit. He proceeds to tell me that he is sorry that«Liz» is out of town. So I ask for a refund and he said he would refund me my money back but who knows when that will be. If I don’t receive my money for the services I did not receive I will be contacting the BBB!!! Don’t ever come here! They are unprofessional and don’t know what good service is.

Ok this has to be one of the worst ”spas” in miami. The staff was super friendly though so that’s why I gave it w stars instead of 1. The place is TINY and they try to cram a lot in there. I got the spa day groupon and I don’t really think I got my money’s worth. I walk in and my groupon wasn’t loading and the front desk guy wouldn’t let me show him from their computer or give me wifi access so I had to actually go to an office next door to print it out. The guy wasn’t exactly rude but he definitely didn’t try to help. First up was the paraffin treatment. It was in the facial ‘room’(more like a walk in closet) with the esthetician. Really basic paraffin treatment. Just brush on the wax and wait. Not the best one I’ve had. Next was the facial. It was o.k. Nothing special but the lady was a sweetheart. Next the exfoliating ‘wrap’. Like others have said it’s not much of a wrap, just a scrub and nowhere to wash yourself afterwards. The weird ‘sauna’ thing was a little strange but not uncomfortable. The wrap and sauna were done by some lady that again, very nice, but she wouldn’t stop talking so I didn’t really relax. Then the massage. I, too, thought a woman was going to massage me but all of a sudden a very tall man appeared and said he was my masseuse. I was caught off guard but went forward with it. I’ve been to plenty of spas and have gotten lots of massages. Although I was a little uncomfortable because I wasn’t told about the male masseuse, he did a pretty good job. Actually reminded me of a massage student or recent graduate because he was very technical but had good firm pressure. He did stretch my arms and legs which I was not comfortable with at all. Other than that, he was very nice and it wasn’t the worst massage ever. When I was going to leave I gave a tip for all of the people who attended to me(3 people) and was forced to pay a tax before I could leave. I wasn’t comfortable giving the spa any more money but I just wanted to go so I paid the $ 10. In the end, the staff is great. The location sucks and it’s not very relaxing. I will not be recommending it or returning.

I bought a groupon for this«spa experience«for a bleaching and wax. Do NOT ever get waxed at this location their«organic chocolate wax» not only hurt as they were spreading on this thin, sticky wax that they take of with paper but when they finish waxing my skin was irritated, red and itchy. Thank God I did not get a bikini wax! If I give it two stars is because the bleach experience was decent.

I just got home from THEWORST«spa» experience I hope I ever have. It was a groupon. It started with«an exfoliating body wrap» which started with a creepy, tall, 35 year old man wanting to rub a cheaper version of St. Ives exfoliating scrub all over my naked body. After an awkward exchange they sent a woman in. (this is when I should have left) So she then rubbed me down and then set up the«sauna» which is actually a space heater propped up on a shelf a make-shift coil wire and mylar half-tube which was too wide for the table I was laying on and kept falling. After she got the half tube situated, she stayed in the room for the entire duration of the sauna, tinkering around with lotions and answering her cell phone. Next was the massage, so I asked her to take the scrub off me and she explained that she didn’t have a shower but would bring me a towel. So I wiped myself off and went to the massage room. The massage was nice sometimes and then startling others. She would switch from gentle rubbing to sudden jabbing and kneading to sudden slapping. And the whole time the massage table is squeaking. Then the paraffin treatment was mostly poorly planned and physically awkward. Then was the facial(this is where I finally leave) where the«therapist» tells me I should have better spanish because I am from miami and then rubs a mask on my face that stings terribly. I tell her I am having a reaction and she removes it and shows me the bottle — It was Queen Helene brand— which can be found at Navarro for $ 3. Then she left the room for a a bit and i quickly put my top on and went to the front desk. The guy asked me for $ 10 for tax, which I thought was weird but I gave it to him and $ 20 for tip because all three people were fussing over me leaving and I just wanted get the hell out of there. Please return your groupon and do not go to this place. I spent enough time and money for everyone. My face is still burning as I press«Post».

I had the EXACT same experience as Mady that it is uncanny. I could have written that review myself. I too left the spa with the body wrap on my body after I ripped off the saran wrap, didn’t bother with the paraffin treatment nor did I bother with the facial. The technicians were truly very nice but they did not speak English and I had no idea what was going on. I had the same issue with the tech putting the body wrap stuff on me, rubbing it off, doing the massage and no wrap. When I let them know they did not wrap me someone put the stuff on me again and wrapped me but did not apply any heat to it. I explained to her that I was freezing and needed the heat but she said another customer was using the heating blanket for her treatment and so she put two towels on me. I lay there for 15 minutes freezing because no one was is the room and I tried to tell myself that it would get better but as the eucalyptus mint stuff started to penetrate my skin i got colder and colder, started crying and ripped the saran wrap off got dressed and left. I wish I had seem these reviews before I had gone.

I don’t even know where to start with this place… I bought a groupon and had an appointment yesterday, arrived with VERYVERY low expectations due to the reviews I read. when I arrived I found myself in the ghetto of little Havana… surrounded by bars on the windows and barb wired fences…(so relaxing). walking in I felt a tad bit relieved(which did not last very long). When I booked my appointment online it said that the staff member who would be helping me would be Isa margarita… when I arrived, my massage therapist turned out to be a man…“Victor” which that right there completely threw me off and left me feeling super uncomfortable. the man was very very nice he was a lovely person but i just was not comfortable with this. I wasn’t even asked if this was okay. I mean what did they think was going to happen? «well we’ll put her with Victor and lets see if she says anything»; was I supposed to blow up and cause a scene? no. that’s not the kind of person I am. So I went with it and gave it chance because after all the poor man is just doing his job. I swear I tried but I just couldn’t get comfortable. This massage if anything ADDED stress to my life. The whole time I was looking at the clock or asking what time it was hoping it would be over soon. The«exfoliation body wrap» was more like a scrub he threw on my body and immediately wiped off with a towel… no «wrap». the exfoliation was done before the massage and i was pretty much wondering. wait that’s it? is there another exfoliating later? what was that? not that even wanted more. I was way too uncomfortable with the whole situation. Halfway through the massage I decided to end this nonsense. I couldn’t possibly take this for another 30 minutes. Then we go to the paraffin treatment… dipped my hands and feet in some wax and waited for 20 uncomfortable minutes. as soon as he took the little wrap off my hands and feet I grabbed a paper towel and wiped the extra wax off myself, left him a tip and pretty much ran out of there. I left this«SPA» with scrub still on my body, feeling robbed of my money and without my facial which was scheduled for another day since there was no esthetician there. and just in case you guys were wondering I am canceling the facial. Its really not worth the stress. In conclusion, the people here were VERY nice, I mean lovely people but I am paying for a service that is not about being nice. I will consider this a lesson learned and will not be buying any more groupons to places i have never heard of. Oh and to all those poor souls who bought this groupon. Good luck =) *LMFAOO I love the reply below me, Liz made it all about the little Havana comment and completely disregarded everything else I said about how uncomfortable my experience was due to the fact that a MAN was doing the services instead of a woman like i was told. and how there was no «wrap» or esthetician to do my services regardless of the location the SERVICES at this salon are not worth the money… VOUCHER and all. P.S if you are SOOOO proud of Little Havana how come you advertised it on groupon as «coral way»? Anyhow, you are obviously struggling if you come after every one who gives an HONEST review here. **Okay this is the LAST time I am writing back because this is just straight up harassment from you. I reviewed your spa and I DON’T like it. DEALWITHIT! apparently I am not the only one who feels this way and you are pretty much attacking me and anyone who thinks like me. How is anyone supposed to take your spa seriously when you don’t have an ounce of professionalism!!! look at you! do you really have this much time on your hands?!! We are all entitled to our own opinion and if you spent half as much time focusing on your TRAINWRECK of a «spa» as you do attacking anyone who decides to speak up about it you probably wouldn’t be in this predicament now would you?! That is all!!!
