Los Verdes

Really enjoyed the food we ordered for take out from here. It has the vibes of a Colombian diner (if that makes sense). They sell burgers and hot dogs, but also empanadas, quesadillas, etc.; however, the inside is a lot trendier than a normal diner!
The best way I can describe it as is — a great spot for a grab and go when you want something more than McDonalds, but less than a Chiles!

I have to say that the food was good, but their service sucks! The girl that was at the front wouldn’t even look at me, after she made me wait in line.

All i gotta say is a maicito con todo, bacon, chicken, steak and a colombiana, open late and oh yea they deliver :-)

Amazing after the club spot to grab some original food! Make sure to have the pink sauce on anything you get!

Food used to be better. Just waited two hours for a delivery. Driver was very rude. Ridiculous.
Also, the food was soggy. Dripping, actually.
I’ve always had a pleasant experience. Safe to say I will never be ordering again.

Essentially every dish is the same. The only thing that changes is what is underneath the pile of crap that they put on top of their dishes. I paid $ 6 for a hot dog with crushed Lays chips on top of it. We also ordered the maicito and there was hardly any meat on it. Again a dish that cost $ 8. I felt like I could recreate any of their dishes at home for less than a dollar. Also the place appears religious and I felt uncomfortable there.

The food here is pretty tasty. Not like the usual restaurant that you can see around.
I ordered Quesadilla Mixta with chicken, steak and Green Sauce. I also got a piece of chocolate shake which incredibly delicious and Hawaiian Burger. Place is tidy and organize, service are just fine but one thing that is so annoying is that they ask for a tip from every costumer that comes in their restaurant, that supposed to be given if the customer is more than satisfied with their service, sad to say I’m not fully satisfied. I do love the food though.

The food here is pretty awesome. I have my occasional late night cravings for maicitos and hot dogs…
Honestly I would give this place 5 stars but the service in the front can be kind of iffy. A little attitude.
Also, something I really don’t agree with is the suggested gratuity at the bottom of the receipts or the fact that there is even an option to tip when you sign.
I am a server and I work so hard and run in circles for my tips and that’s also because my tips are my livelihood. Without them, I only make $ 5.03 an hour. The ladies working in the front here I’m sure at least receive minimum wage pay and they are just taking my order.
If they took my order, talked to me, brought the food to me, etc, then yes! A tip would come from me! But, no, they are doing the same thing cashiers at McDonalds do, and they want a tip?
I almost felt offended when I saw that because again, I work hard for my tips and they want it just handed to them.
So, with all that being said, food is awesome, but please get rid of that attitude in the front and suggested gratuity!

New management ! They know how to treat their customers again ! Great customer service and great food! It’s back to being one of my favorite places to eat!

I don’t know what happened… maybe it’s the time of day I go… this Los Verdes location started off top notch, but the last few times I’ve come in for either a Perricarne or carne quesadilla… something’s just off — the bun is either stale, the meat is grizzly… something just tastes… off.
I mean… I LOVE Los Verdes… and I would eat it a lot more often if it wasn’t so expensive… but ahh I wish the food was consistent at this location. I also wish they didn’t use a heavy duty stapler to staple my to-​go bag shut (can’t tell you how many times I shred my hand whether opening it or throwing it away. but that’s a small thing), and most of all — I wish they’d put the chips and sauce on the side when I ask because by the time I get home, my stuff is soggy as hell!
And when I say sauce on the side that means all of the sauce on the side — don’t drizzle it with some sauce, then put more on the side — no — leave that shit PLAIN and let me put the sauce on at home. Thanks.
With that said… hopefully they improve next time… *fingerscrossed*

Don’t go here if you can’t speak Spanish. I went here and ask for a burger pain with nothing on it and it was fully loaded. Right when I called to ask for a correct order they hung up on me 3 times. Please hire people that can speak English.

Los Verdes is a high end fast food restaurant. This is not meant to be disrespectful towards the franchise. I much rather come here than go to any other local fast food restaurant in the area. I normally get their chicken quesadilla. In my opinion, that is the best thing on the menu.
If you want that forth meal but want it to be at a good place, come to Los Verdes.

Hubby and I always get cravings for their delicious maicitos which is a hot mixture of sweet yellow corn, cream, cheese, and all the sauces, and crushed lays. BUT tonight we went a little different.
I got an arepa with shredded beef, cheese, and chicharron. Of course I had to drench it in all the different sauce concoctions they have. There’s no way to eat that with your hands so I cut mine with a fork and knife. I ate about ¾ and left the rest to my husband.
He ordered a arepa especial con todo (with everything) he really enjoyed it. It was an open face arepa with all the meats, cheeses, sauces, and crushed lays.
The customer service here is always excellent. The employees are always smiling and treating each other and patrons with respect. I will continue to come to this location for my Colombian antojos!

Delicious. I absolutely love their quesadillas and juices. A little bit on the pricey side for fast food, but worth every penny.

Good Colombian food at affordable prices, great customer service. Food is cooked to perfection. Very clean, everybody smiles, good music.

Had the mixed quesadillas & it lacked flavor. Even with the pineapple sauce it tasted very bland. The chicharones as well. Not worth going back again.

Manager — your employees need access to grant customer your offers. If not, then don’t offer anything.

El local es amplio y con un aspecto moderno y limpio. Pero el servicio y la calidad de esta sede en Kendall han desmejorado. Cada vez que hemos pedido hamburguesas o Carne las han traido muy cocinadas y hasta quemadas, casi carbonizadas a pesar de haberle advertido a la mesera que no estuvieran muy hechas. (Not well done).

The food wasn’t as great as it usually is but it was probably because of how long they had me waiting. Over 30 minutes, I inquired 3 times about my food.
Finally, one of the employees went to the back and asked where it was. They hadn’t even started it yet.
Once I did get my food, the person in charge of the staff handed me my order to go as I asked. At this point, it had been 45 minutes. I asked for extra sauce and she just gave me a face saying I couldn’t get too much. She made no attempt to compensate me for my troubles. Just here’s your food and bye.
The staff here isn’t attentive and they’re usually distracted so their customer service is very poor. I won’t be coming back to this location.

Ouch… It hurt.
It does not make me happy when i write this kind of reviews but this time i had to.
I have been here twice and no, i dont see any improvements. At least last time, months ago, the service was ok. This time, not even that. The staff behind that counter ohhh, way too distracted.
These previous months i had been going to Reys pizza because its also open until late, im a pizza fan and the hunger at this time helps. Well, i decided to change and come to los verdes.
I dont know if i have not been lucky but i just cant like it. The food was so greasy, what a mess. The quesadilla was a ²⁄₁₀ with a tasteless steak pieces.
And again, the service just destroys it. I am only giving it two starts instead of one because they are open until late.

Muy mal servicio. Si pides domicilio te venden la coca cola en lata. Pero si vas allí personalmente te dicen q no hay y es porque las tienen escondidas solo para domicilios y quieren q tomes obligado la de la máquina que no te gusta. Por otro lado las hamburguesas en la foto te las ofrecen con papitas a la francesa pero cuando las pides y te la entregan te la dan sola y cuando preguntas por las papas con cara de risa burlona te dicen q tienes q comprarlas aparte… (con la misma risa burlona que te dicen que no hay coca cola en lata, siendo que si hay, sino que la tienen escondida para los domicilios). Como si eso fuera poco no explican q la hamburguesa viene con Tómate y lechuga o con ensalada de repollo… entonces justo me la dieron con la ensalada de repollo q odio y no con lechuga y tomate… que trabajo cuesta preguntarle al cliente cómo la desea? En lo personal nunca más volveré a este lugar y le diré a mis amigos que tampoco lo hagan.

Started coming here because it is the only thing open late in the area.
I’ve been to Los Verdes 4 or 5 times now. Nothing here is delicious It’s just food in a pinch for when everything else is closed.
Today was definitely the worst experience here. It took 35 minutes to get my food. (I checked in on Unilocal as I walked in) It wouldve taken 40+ if I hadn’t interrupted the two women chatting behind the counter just 2 feet away from me while I waited to be attended.
I ordered and waited. And waited. I inquired about my order about 20 minutes in. The response one of them have me was that it would be just a few minutes. 15 minutes later I got my food and no apology or even a «Thank you» for my business or a «Have a good night» Anything to take away the sting for the awful wait time.
Severely overstaffed and they were all eating shi… kabobs.
I think something might have changed here too (not that the wait times were much better before; usually 15 minutes. But I did notice ALL of the lights were on inside tonight whereas it used to be very dark in there.
Sadly, I won’t be returning. At least not anytime soon. I would have to be super desperate for late night food to come back.
