We visited the location at 5731NW7th St. They were advertising a «HUGESALE!(some brands excluded)». My girlfriend and I just wanted to buy two pairs of flip flops so we thought it was great. Their selection seemed ok and we decided to buy some. First surprise: the flip flops I wanted(some seemingly-generic, but perhaps special, brand?) did not apply on the discount. Oops, should have asked I guess. But the sticker said just $ 20.00 so I was ok with the extra $ 10. Second surprise: when I got the receipt, the $ 20 flip flops I wanted were shown as $ 24.95. I thought it was just a mistake so I got the shoes from the wall to show the lady the label. But when I showed it to her, she said, «Look it says $ 24.95 here.» It did, written in pen on a different part of the label. I assumed I’d get the lowest price shown, and insisted. «Oh no, that’s the Canadian price,» she said. I pointed out it said clearly, «US$ 20» and asked why that would be the Canadian price. She then said, «you don’t have to buy the shoes.» My suggestion: you don’t need to buy the shoes here, either.
