I ordered the eggplant parm. It was a lot of food but lacking in flavor. The garlic used for the sauce is the bottled kind that has tangy flavor.

I ordered ziti with vodka sauce. The ziti was very over cooked, so over cooked I just threw it out after three bites because the sauce was bland. I hate wasting food. Anytime I try a new Italian place I get vodka sauce, because how they make it tells me a lot about the quality of a restaurant’s sauces. Stuff out of a jar at home has tasted better than this. The garlic rolls had no actual garlic on them, just oil. So next time I want pasta the texture of baby food I’ll order here…

I had heard rave reviews at my prior job about Mario The Baker’s pizza and had had it and it was good. Today I ordered the eggplant parmesan and what I got was a mess. Cutting into it, it was practically all breadcrumbs. Then, I took one bite and it had a sour taste and my mouth got that scratchy feeling. I knew it was not right. I called and told them and they asked me what I wanted. I said, «something that was prepared fresh today». The guy on the phone asked me if I wanted ravioli. I said if it is fresh, prepared today and was expecting ravioli as he said he would send ravioli. Next thing I know, baked ziti arrives. I call and ask why did he send me baked ziti when he told me he was sending ravioli, he said well you said you wanted something prepared fresh today and I said, baked ziti was the only thing you prepared fresh today? Why did you tell me you were sending ravioli? Was baked ziti the only thing you prepared fresh today? And he didn’t answer. The baked ziti was OK but cost $ 2.00 less than my original order, and I paid $ 3.00 delivery, so I paid almost $ 15.00 for a most unsatisfactory meal and unpleasant experience. I asked for the manager and was given a number to call. I called and left a message and 5 hours later, no returned call. I will definitely not be ordering anything from them again. I have this image of preprepared food sitting in a fridge or freezer and being heated up when ordered. That eggplant parmesan was definitely off, so how long was it being stored, and had it been left out of refrigeration? Why was it sour? Disturbing.

Hard to tell what was worse, the miserable environment, the poor service or the overpriced not so good food. The Wynwood location which is not really in Wynwood was the very worst. I hope to figure out after a month or two in a meditation retreat. The light will surely dawn and I can then finish this review which did not give me a choice to add less than one star

Work next door and decided to come in for a bite rather than wait in traffic. Great decision, I got a slice from a pre made pizza and it was deliciously fresh. I can only imagine how good a man ordered pie would be. I will be back!

I’ve never been inside of the restaurant, but I have eaten the food at least 3 or 4 times. My coworkers usually order from here when we have our teleconferences. The pizza is delicious, and I’ll tell you why. Although the crust is not as solid as you may be accustomed to, I like that it’s slightly«bendy». It tastes as if it’s fresh from the oven. The selection of toppings is large. I’ve had the pepperoni and ham, the mozzarella with tomatoes, the cheese and hot sauce… they are all good! I’ve also had the lasagna, which is decent. I love the garlic bread. It’s soft, and has the perfect blend of olive oil and garlic. My ONE complaint is that the bread needs SALT! I mean, it’s nice and fluffy, but it just tastes like pure garlic. Don’t get me wrong, it’s delicious when you dip it into a sauce, like marinara or tomato, but the bread alone is so bland except for the garlic taste. I’m not even usually big on salt at all, but this bread needs it. Other than that, the pizza is awesome, the price is great, and I’m sure my coworkers will continue ordering from here. Thanks Mario!

Dishonest business. Purchased the 2 slices plus fountain soda special for $ 5.49. Fountain soda machine supposedly broken, cashier refused to discount my bill or offer me a can of soda as a replacement. Instead, offered to add a can of soda for an additional $ 2. What a racket this place is running! Please do not visit this shady establishment!

I think this is an ok place to have a feel of Italy. However, to be honest, the taste didnt amaze me much. I had 2 slices of pizza and it was quickly done. But because the pizza was made beforehand so it didnt taste very fresh. But I guess for the price, it makes sense. It seems to be a fast food restaurant. The restaurant is clean and nice. It even has some seats outside for beautiful days, which is always a plus to me. Customer service was wonderful. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. For that I want to give this one 4 stars.

Have been ordering from here over a year and out of all the places this one has seem to never make a mistake. Always delivers in less than an hour and has a great menu. Highly recommended place

I like Mario’s because of its location, but their pizza usually gives me some stomach problems because it’s pretty greasy. However I come back often, and it’s cheap — $ 4 for a slice of that ricotta-pepperoni I tried for the first time today! And one slice sates the gnawing hunger feel for when I forget to eat breakfast, so there’s that. Oh and two slices will get you a free drink!

It is not that it disappointed me, but this place could be better. They have the attention, reception is really good, the puzza it’s what it flaws, I asked by a medium cheese pizza, and the flavor could be better. The pizza arrived at 6 min. but was when the local was wmpty. I would recomend this place for an emergency launch.

The selection was good but a bit repetitive. Pepperoni on everything. LoL!!! I like pepperoni so I didn’t mind. I got 2 two topping slices plus a drink and it came out to $ 8.45. I think that’s a little expensive for a lunch place. Other than that, the slices were good size and it tastes good. They also had an electric socket so I could charge my phone. I appreciate that. I had jury duty so this place turned my frown upside down. Thank you.

We are so disappointed in this selection! We had it delivered from the Flagler location, at first it was over priced for the amount of food you end up getting. Second it is possibly the worst spaghetti with meat sauce and lasagna we’ve ever had! Tasted like cheap tomato paste and lower than dog food grade meat! I hope people pay attention to this review, due to the positive reviews we saw before ordering… I would give an absolute –5 out of 5 stars

I like in Brickell and order delivery from this place all the time, and the food is always delicious and arrives quicker than I ever expect. The chicken parm sub and the pizzas are great and definitely try to garlic rolls.

I found Mario’s a great place. I was skating around the area and found the joint. First time there they had music playing and a great deal. Got me a slice and a the owner gave me a free drink. Will be going there again A+

Miami Beach, you are killing me! So far 0 for 2. We ordered delivery from the store on Arthur Godfrey in Miami Beach, writing a review here since it is a chain and there is not a separate review for that location and I am not about to spend the time creating one… Worst food in Miami Beach, period. BBQ Chicken Pizza — Cold pizza, dry chicken. Caprese Salads — No fresh basil as per the menu description. For $ 9/each it better have basil. My 2 year old could have made a better looking caprese. Minestrone Soup — HOWDOYOUSCREWTHISUP?!? Vegetables were mush and the whole taste of the soup was foul. It was described as vomit like. Way too salty as well. Might have well been made from the water in the Atlantic Ocean. Two full orders of soup went in the trash. Chicken Parmesan — Can’t even describe how gross this was. And cold. Meat Ravioli — For $ 12 bucks you get THREE raviolis that are about 2″ x 2″ square. Did we order a kid’s meal? Certainly didn’t pay for a kid’s meal. Maybe you will have better luck if you eat at the restaurant.

The 5 stars are for the location that used to be in South Beach! I took everyone I knew there, I loved the owner and the food! Best pizza every hands down, best garlic rolls overflowing with garlic, best salads, best raviioli, best stromboli, everything is the BEST! This location while not as cool, still the best food! I am just obsessed with everything on their menu, great quality and amazingly good everytime, for pizza I would not go anywhere else!
