We order so much from this place they already know us by hard. I always get the family special. I love the pizza here, it is thin crust and tasty, new york style. The garlic rolls are delicious. They deliver to your house or can eat there. I agree with the other reviewer, eating there is not the best becasue tables are too close together, but it’s ok. The staff is always freindly. Try the fried donuts.

This place is pretty good but inconsistent. Their pizza is tasty but you have to ask them to practically burn it, so it comes crispy. Otherwise, expect a soggy and wet pie to arrive at your door. Some of their pasta dishes are pretty good. The chicken parmesan is tasty and huge! Stay away from the stuffed shells, though. They were gross! Tasted like out of a frozen bag with a nasty chewy texture. The Italian doughnuts are great, when you get a freshly made batch. Again, unfortunately, very inconsistent but it beats having to cook on a lazy night.

Small neighborhood dive, mostly take out and delivery, very friendly staff and affordable food. The basic pasta dishes with meat sauce are good, not very highly seasoned but tasty. Pizza is also good here, with a thin crispy crust. The calzone/stromboli are my favorite, made to order and huge. It’s not the most comfortable place to sit and eat, unless you don’t mind sharing your space with people talking to each other across the room, or the occasional inconsiderate family allowing their super-spoiled screamer of a kid recklessly running around the place. Nothing fancy here but overall: food is average but good, prices are very fair, and the staff is attentive and nice.

I hope if anything thing this place might be on a new management. Because one time I ordered delivery – wings and a pizza for like $ 20. I had to throw everything way and end up driving somewhere else to get something to eat. My pizza and chicken wings were uncooked!!! The chicken had blood in it and it was still reddish pink. Clearly, someone rushed the order and gave us under cooked meat! What a waste of money!!! I rejected going there. I have yet to order anything because of that!

Max’s is right around the corner so I’ve eaten there quite a bit plus gotten delivery. The restaurant itself is generally always clean and the staff friendly and efficient. Delivery is always on time — never a cold dish. We’ve tried pretty much everything on the menu and can strongly reccomend their strombolis/calzones and their pizza. That’s definitely their strong point. Pasta dishes are pretty good too, but the veal/chicken dishes tend to be a bit of a stretch for this restaurant. They have a pool table and tvs so it’s not a bad place to hang out — drink some beer, watch some sports, shoot some pool. The best thing about the place is their prices — especially for lunch but even for dinner are outstanding. 20−30% less then pizza places within a couple of miles.

I love the pizza there as well as many other items on the menu. I go almost twice a week because they have really good lunch specials, that are extremely affordable. Staff is super nice and I love the fact that I get specials sent to me in the mail!

1. BADSERVICE 2. BADFOOD 3. PORTIONSARE A JOKE! I ordered a medium sized meat lovers pizza and it barely had ANYTHING on it besides a thick bread crust and abundant cheese! My boyfriend ordered a Philly Cheese steak and it was TINY the bread tasted old and there was barely any meat in it and it was almost $ 6, a total rip off… They also charge for refills! WHATTHE! And their cashiers/serves are very rude, they make rude comments about customers that are within ear shot… ugh. 11/15/2011 Went back to the place after a member of their staff messaged me, my experience was completely different and the food was also good, a great improvement to the terrible experience I had the first time.

Got some delivered for a world cup game and was pretty disappointed in the quality of the pizza. I should’ve let my brother order from Pizza Hut instead. At least delivery was pretty quick and it wasn’t too expensive. I doubt I’ll order from here again

I work in the area and eat there just about every Sunday. The food is great. I’m a huge fan of stromboli; so far, this is the best place in the area for stromboli. All the ingredients are fresh, and made to order. The prices are very reasonable. I wasn’t too crazy about the pizza, but it really hard to make a pizza bad. What I like best are the female waitresses. They are very attentive and offer prompt and personalized service.

This place is A-OK! Ate here today with my husband after my classes and got the lunch special: lasagna,(or a few other basic pasta dishes) 2 garlic rolls and a soda for $ 6.95. I added a caesar salad for a buck more, and it was alright. I will be honest, I didn’t come in with high expectations for the food. But it was actually pretty good! Hubby got a veggie calzone and a drink for $ 5.95, and it was GOOD. I would definitely get their calzone next time, it was yummy. Service was good, very nice waitress and prompt service. I wouldn’t go out of my way(I don’t live in the area) to eat here, but if I was around here, I would for sure stop in for lunch!

A real find, we ate here about a year ago and weren’t too impressed(we had a margarita pizza then). We found ourselves in the area again last weekend and stopped in and were very satisfied this time, starting with the delicious garlic bread(not too oily, not too garlic-y). It’s not Italian, but the chicken wings were also very tasty(again, not too oily). The minestrone soup was properly hearty and piping hot. We were filled up with our appetizers and running late, so we asked the young, prompt and courteous staff to wrap our main entrees to go for later. The cheeze calzone was huge(and a great deal, at $ 5.95) and did not disappoint. The pasta primavera was bathed in pink sauce and will take a few weeks to work off, but was the best primavera I have had for as long as I can remember. Total bill(including a Peroni): $ 32 — an excellent value. It is comforting to know that the suburbs like Kendall have some great places like this — we will definitely be returning.
