Midtown Inn Miami Hotel

I loved the floor in the room. The beds, and pillows, are comfortable and clean. Nice television set. Great location! Wendy’s, gas station, McDonalds are across the street.
There a nice size refrigerator and a microwave, but no coffee maker.
My only problem was the bathroom! I guess they need a housekeeper! The handle fell of right when I was going to take a shower! There was a ring around the tub (Soft Scrub is great for that) and the water would stay there, so you would have to take a really quick shower, unless you want to swim in the tub! — I posted a picture.
Other than that (MAYBE a little oversight), the place is nice.
P. S. All the rooms were booked, so we literally didn’t have a choice. :o/​
Also, I ALWAYS check the beds for ‘creepy crawlers’ before anything else, and that’s even before I had an ‘experience’ at a hotel in Orlando. I saw ‘things’ moving and I took off, even though they wanted to give me another room. By the way, I NEVER unpack my suitcase to put my clothes on the drawers. That’s a no no at my house, as you never know what was there before, and also for a quick exit. The beds at this hotel were clean and crispy white.

When I read the reviews about this place I was a bit nervous. But that was the only place still available for the Fourth of July, we wanted to be well situated. Near downtown and Miami beach. We didn’t want to spend to much money. And this hotel was perfect for all we requested.

Breakfast provided: cereals, donuts, coffee, Orange juice. Not a lot, but it’s enough.
The room are big, king size bed, Big shower! The rooms have been just removed! New furniturem new and clean bathroom! It was very nice. The AC is very nice in the room.
Yes the Tv is «old». It’s not a flat scream. But that works perfectly and who comes to Miami to watch tv at night?
Regarding the bugs, for your information, in Florida bugs are part of the way of life. Especially during the summer time. So It can happen to see one.

This hotel has a MAJOR BEDBUG INFESTATION. I repeat: a MAJOR bedbug infestation. I was there in total 6 hours to get some much needed rest and now I am covered in bites all over my arms, hands, and legs. I cannot believe this place is allowed to be up and running. I had bed bugs once in NYC and it was nowhere near as bad as this.

Horrible. No shampoo and no BLANKET on the bed. Only a sheet and a nasty bedspread. Cost us $ 146.00. Pillows are pillow shams with a pillow cover over them. Mold on shower curtain and the ice bucket is dirty! Totally gross! They give one small washcloth and two medium sized towels that are for your shower.

This place is a dump. My beautiful shoes stolen out of room. Saw a roach crawl out of bathroom. Just so disgusted. Moved to the beautiful doubletree where it was only 23 more dollars and calculating the shoes I had to replace the midtown inn cost me more! You are a fool if you stay there!
