My usual go-​to burger place was closed, so I drive by Military Burger, and thought «eh, why not» When we walked in, the place was empty and it was lunch hour, usually not a good sign, but in all fairness it was rainy all day. We ordered a regular burger with fries, and the prices were pretty cheap, which worked great for us. After about 15 – 20 minutes of waiting, our food came out and the burger and fries were less than satisfying. The burger was so small, I scarfed it down in 4 bites, the bun was unflavorful, and the fries were shoestring cut, very thin and not really filling. My husband and I enjoy and small neighborhood, burger joint and thought we found here, but after our meal, we more than likely wont be back.

I’m being generous with the third star for one reason. This place has potential. The atmosphere is fun and well thought out. The flavors are there but the quality of ingredients holds it’s space as a «nothing special» kind of place. The burgers need to be more juicy, they are literally cooked to death. I like that they use shoestring french fries, but I would like it so much more if they were fresh! Instead you’re falling short using previously frozen fries. I know, everybody does it, but if you want to be the best that you can be, fresh fries go the distance! The toppings really need to be fresher too! Why use canned pineapple? Back to boot camp military burger, you still need training if you want to impress me!

This place has the good stuff. Love the food. Try the kabobs. Now those are delicious.

The Chori Burger with the «special» sauce is CRACK. The service is above and beyond, the food is simple and delicious. Skip 5 Guys and salute the guys over here. A+ ACROSS THE BOARD!

Over rated, local, service OK, food nothing to talk about! If the person that said is be letter than Shula’s Burger, I’m not eating at Shula’s !

Why isn’t there a line out the door of this place? A cheeseburger, French fries and a drink for $ 6? This place should be swarmed with MDC’ers.
I came in with my dad today, we both ordered the number one and waited for the cook to grill our burgers. As soon as they were cooked medium (as we requested) they were topped and served. They tasted like a great burger a friend would make in a backyard BBQ.
It’s not the best burger in town but I’m willing to say it’s the best for the money.

I don’t live in the area so when I drove past the location for the first time, I made a mental note to stop with my family on our way back from our initial destination. When we finally arrived, the manager was closing up, yet he stayed open later just to serve us.
The hamburger was obviously fresh and not from frozen patties, the fries are not your typical fast food joint fries, but they are great. Over all the food was excellent but the customer service stood out the most. Thank you for the patriotic burger joint, great food and awesome service. We will be back!

This is definitely an underrated burger place. Every time. I was skeptical coming in here cause it was empty. But the food was great and so was the service.

The burger and fries were Much better than Shula Burger.
The cheese burger was cooked to a perfect medium. It was juicy, tasty, and hot. The fries were shoestring, my favorite, hot crispy, salty. Best burger and fries I’ve had in a some time… I will be back — soon…

Went today to military burger and the experience was nice. To start off the inside is very clean and the service is very good. The kids enjoyed their nuggets with fries and I had the sliders. Why I didnt give it 5 stars is because I ordered my sliders medium and it came out more medium well, leaning more to the well done. The prices aint that bad either.

The place is very nice decorated, it’s has the military feel. Also the burghers are cooked to order and the price it’s perfect. I personally like the samplers since there are 4 mini burgers and u get to try all of them

This place is something special! Great food, the best service and great prices. Highly recommend this place. Will definitely be coming back.

Went to this place on the recommendation of my brother and I must say that I wasn’t disappointed.
I took my uncle and aunt (both of whom are self-​proclaimed «burger connoisseurs») and we all tried different things. We tried the BBQ, Double Cheeseburger, Bacon-​Mushroom-​Cheese, and Chorizo burgers were extremely impressed. I myself wasn’t sure what to order and simply ate based on the recommendation of the knowledgeable staff, who take the time to ask you questions on your likes and dislikes and navigate you through the options.
My wife (who is 5 months pregnant by the way) even ordered a hot dog, which was tasty, but only because of the homemade pineapple and «salsa inglesa» (ketchup, mayonnaise, etc.). Not their strong-​suit, but I’ve had much, much worse at self-​proclaimed Colombian fast food places.
The only knock on it was that they were out of the mini-​burger buns, which would’ve been great, because they serve you 4 different burgers from their menu.
This place just started up and I hope it begins to develop a following, because it’s nice to have a non-​BK, McD’s, Wendy’s option that is a good value!
FYI — 5% discount for students and 10% discount for military personnel! :)

Just tried this new burger joint that opened in Kendall.
First off the décor is all military, hence the name, not really my décor but different is cool.
I tried the #1 which is basically a cheeseburger combo with fries and a drink at an awesome price of $ 5.50
Now these burgers are cooked to order and the chargrilled juicy burger is damn delish!!! The fries are skinny, crunchy, not oily at all and delicious. Oh and you need to try the pink sauce, whether for your fries, burger, or both.
I love this new burger joint and plan to come back with some more friends.
The only reason for 4 stars is the mission trying to get out of this place.

I’m a HUGE burger lover and I don’t believe that a burger is just a burger. I guess this is a new burger joint in Kendall. I don’t live in Kendall anymore so I’m not sure.
I came in and really liked the décor and the whole concept. Menu is not too big so you don’t get lost trying to find what you want to eat. The prices are really good. I mean, you can’t even go to McDs and get a combo for $ 6. Now, on to the what I didn’t like about the place.
Cons:
— They didn’t ask me how I wanted my burger cooked
— It took a long time to get my burger
— the bread was a bit too hard for my taste
PROS:
— The fries were delicious
— The Mayo/​Ketcup Dipping sauce was OFF THE HOOK!
In conclusion, I will try them again, but now that I know these things, I can probably enjoy my burger a bit more.

Solid four star. Once kinks are out, probable five star. Good shaded view of Miami-​dade campus across road. Outside tables are shaded with a good awning. Free Wi-​fi and a big screen tv to watch games. Inside is wall to wall military decorations. Very convenient location across from campus. The MTI motorcycle class provides some comic entertainment on weekends with new riders.
Food was great at a reasonable price. The ambence is great inside and out. Fries were a thin crisp cut, refreshingly different. They serve beer, so place has potential for after class activities.
Two issues kept them from a max rating. I ordered my burger medium rare and received it well done. I ordered swiss cheese on burger, but got american. With that said, the place was packed for their grand opening with a toys for tots distribution. Once the shake down cruise is over I will return and indulge myself with a nice messy burger and see if they worked out the ordering kinks.
It would be nice if customers could put their own veggies on burger. In meanwhile, strongly recommend md kendal students visit. There is a five percent student discount.

I am appreciative of small businesses opening up, especially to compete with Shula’s and Smashburger in the area. The other small burger place is Juicy Luucy, which is poor at best.
This place first of all is easy to pass on 104, and doing a U turn is a challenge.
The parking is bad, and the seating is military like. I doesn’t need to be that bad.
However military like touches are abundant, from the Granada canister ketchup holder to other things, it really is unique.
The cashier I had seemed even newer than the restaurant, and although she has poor English, you will get your orders.
Small complaint, refills cost money. What? That still exists?
Anyway the food. The burger was pretty good, not amazing but good. Perfectly salted and juicy, although I was never asked how I wanted it cooked.
Bun is good, overall pretty good, and the chef asked our opinion. You can smell their desire to succeed.
The fries are okay. That’s about it. Not great not bad.
Overall I think this place is good, has a lot of inconveniences, but it has good flavor and I support small businesses and want it to succeed.
Price is also quite cheap for a burger place. Two burgers with coke and fries costed 17 dollars, not bad at all.
Oh and MDC students (don’t know if other universities work) get a discount!
