This place has the best chicharron pupusas I’ve had here in Miami. They just have so much more flavor than other ones I’ve tried from places in Little Havana. They recently relocated to a bigger location but it is still inside Mall of the Americas, now by the food court. It is great authentic Central American food with good prices. I always always have to get an order of the chicharron pupusas. Their meat baleadas and enchiladas are good too! Must try!

Very delicious Honduran restaurant in Mall of the Americas right by the movie theater. First visit was on Mother’s Day, my husband and I invited my mother in law for brunch. My hubby is Honduran so we always keep an eye out for any new Central American restaurants. The food is great and very authentic. I ordered un balaeada sencilla and una pupusa de queso, which is a tortilla with refried beans, fresh cheese, and cream; a pupusa is a corn tortilla with melted fresh cheese. Fire. I forgot the name of my hubby’s dish, but it was thick green deep fried plantain strips(tejadas) with a spicy Honduran cole slaw and a piece of carne asada on top. Fire. And my mother in law orded un desayuno tipico which is just scrambled eggs, crema, cheese, refried beans, and tortillas. Fire. Now as for the service, it is VERY slow and the ladies behind the counter don’t smile much or like too many questions. Avoid asking for substitutions in your plate or any extra sauces. I recommend calling in your order to take out or eat in. They also deliver.

Great place to get some honduran food. Platano relleno is amazing and the baleadas are also good. The best dish in my opinion here are the honduran tacos. Feels like im taking a bite of Honduras everytime I come here. Only thing I dislike is the seating, not a lot of space and they do not give you enough chile. Even if you ask for more.

Inside mall of the Americas by the theatre. This place is HEAVEN! Another Honduran restaurant that is worth eating at! My favorite thing here are the tacos!!! Their menu isn’t as extensive as other restaurants but everything on there is delicious! It’s a relatively small space so you sit out in the mall’s hallway.

I don’t always eat baleadas, but when I do have a craving I come here they are like«home made». Great place really small but they cook everything fresh ! ! ! !

This establishment is an extension of a Honduran restaurant called Paseo Catracho in Little Havana, which I’ve also reviewed for your reading pleasure :) If I’m in the mood for baleadas and don’t want to drive all the way to Paseo Catracho, this is where I go. They’re right beside the AMC theater in Mall of the Americas. The baleadas are not as great as the ones you can get at their proper restaurant but they do fine. I normally go for a number 7 which is one baleada, one pupusa and a canned drink. For the baleada you can have your choice of simple, with carne asada(my favorite), or with scrambled eggs. The pupusas can be ordered mixtas(cheese and pork) or revueltas(cheese, pork, and refried beans.) The also sell tamales de elote con crema which are sweet corn cakes wrapped in leaves and topped with cream. I normally love these things but I felt like they were too dry here. The flavor wasn’t all there either, for my taste. On the other hand, my wife hadn’t tried one before and loved it. I’ll give it another try next time I’m there.

This is a great place to get food at Mall of the Americas. My suggestion is to go here before seeing a movie at the mall. The food is made to order. Definitely get the platano frito and the baleadas. They are classic at this place. Don’t expect too many options because they are more limited then the mother restaurant they have on 8th street named Paseo Catracho.
