The place was dirty. There was lots of food on the floor where people had eaten and nobody was cleaning up. There was a waiters and waitresses that seem to be hustling in serving Customers, both seemed to be trying very hard. We did have to ask twice for an extra bowl, then three times for some white rice. The waitress said, sorry I forgot again. The cooking staff seem to be focused on delivering food in a timely manner. The food was good, but with the dirty state of the restaurant I I had to wonder if the preparation area was as dirty as the dining room.. It was the management team that seem to be sitting around laughing and cutting up(pulling other employees into their social world) while there was apparent work to be done. I raised my hand to get some assistance to someone in a black uniform with a black hat(sitting at the bar) for assistance, she shouted to someone to go help me. She never moved. Lazy. I walked away thinking if the owner were here this would not be happening.

Food was good and the service was good too. They were able to accommodate a special request for a dietary restriction.

The only reason i chose one star is because there is no 0 option. The food here was totally cold. The service is non existent. It appears that the employees are completely overwhelmed and that they are either short staffed or people don’t care. This location sucks. If you want cold salty stale food and no service this is your spot. We will not be back.

From the greeting to the convo with the manager about the WONDERFULSERVICE… I will definitely come back here! My first time was GREAT! Fresh food. Clean. Friendly staff. I can’t wait to go back for the Thai chicken lettuce wraps.

This place used to be fantastic but it seems management and workers have completely changed over the last few months. Food is just plain bad now. Chicken is dry and they try to make up for it by smothering things in sauce. Just don’t go. Have chipotle or something else near by.

I have been gluten free for almost 6 years for health reasons(celiac & autoimmune diseases) so I need to be REALLY careful about what/where I eat. To be truly safe I cook 99% of the time, and havent had ‘real Chinese’ food for almost 6 years… sometimes that gets old and sometime a girl just needs a day off! ;) Tonight was it… I was searching Unilocal for gluten free chinese and Pei Wei came up… placed an order for pick up, GF sweet & sour chicken and shrimp, white rice sauce on side and spicy chicken and shrimp, w/vegs, brown rice, sauce on the side… we weren’t crazy about the spicy sauce or the main plain sweet & sour dish mix BUT… if you switch sauces… the main plain spicy chicken n shrimp with the sweet & sour dish… SO very yummy! And just so other gluten free eaters, the bit of coating on the chicken and shrimp is potato starch/flour, believe me, as soon as I opened the containers I was online checking it out to be safe! It was so good that… we had it again THEVERYNEXTNIGHT!!!(Just to be clear, NOT leftovers!!) Lol And thanks to Evelyn(Aventura location), we were able to order the main dish we did like with the s/s sauce instead, on the side! Ordered online but then called too, got Evelyn on phone and she took care of us! Thanks Evelyn! It may sound funny to get so amped over ‘fast food Chinese’, but when you can’t eat something, literally for years, and then you can, sometimes something that small can make your day a little happier. ;)

Pei Wei is something brand new for us and I must say, we enjoyed it! It’s not Sriacha House in that the flavor was not so intense but the quality was great and the clean venue was nice. We give it a thumbs up and will be back!

This is the Chipotle of asian food. Fresh ingredients, awesome portions, great service, & very affortable. Why even think about a fast food chain. Another hit!

Good food. Very busy though. Service is slow due to the high number of customers. Had the pork egg roll and Mongolian beef. Both were good. Price is fair for the food. Clean on the inside.

Food is good! Can be better done but since there’s no Manager, it’s not Always done as the last time! Service is terrible! Employees in a bad mood and not into helping at all! Today, since there’s no command, the cook was screaming the orders and playing with the pans and fire, as the other employees were laughing and chatting among themselves. Could be better! Needs attention though! Pitty!

Cute place. I didn’t know it was a fast food type of restaurant. You order at the front and then find a table and they bring your food to the table. I tried the sushi which was okay. The crab wontons were good and the lettuce wraps were okay. I guess it’s a good place for a quick inexpensive bite.

Let me start off by saying in general I love pei Wei. This location, not so much. I had gone there this evening for dinner and was not thrilled. The girl at the front who took my order was the highlight as she was very friendly. There was no silverware available. There also was no tea available and the beverage station area was dirty. The trash was coming out of the shoot. I always order the Mongolian beef. The rice was so sticky it was essentially one large clump that wouldn’t separate. The beef was raw in sports and there was barely any sauce. There were only mushrooms, no green onions. Overall I was definitely disappointed in my visit to Pei Wei and probably wouldn’t come back to this location ever again.

I love pei wei. Owned by pf changs, but the«fast food» version. Very good food. I like the Mongolian shrimp. The sesame sauce is great too.

A ghetto place when it comes to Asian food. The spicy Tuna Roll here was extremely good, had a lot of order of it. Wasabi crunch roll was also good, the crunchy tempura flakes was really great. Not the taste of the wasabi that you’re expecting but the taste was really great. The place was also good, I felt a good ambiance on this place. Nice place for good occasions.

It’s supposed yo be quick food freshly made but it can take a long time to get your order. It’s hit or miss. We went on a Friday night and we ordered the mango California roll. It was goo but not outstanding. But it’s just 5.99 for 8 pieces which is less than the supermarket. Then we shares a Dan Dan steak noodle bowl. I was concerned that it was spicy and the host told me they could make it mild and it almost had no flavor that I had to add some spicy sauce even though I don’t eat spicy foods. It got better after that. We also tried the pork egg roll. It was less than average. After sharing these options with my husband, he was still hungry and he ordered a fried rice and it took more than 20 minutes to arrive. I don’t know what happened because it was almost the same amount of people when we places the first order than when we ordered this. The fried rice was good. In summary a casual and inexpensive place to have a quick bite.

Think of everything that could go wrong with your meal. And pretend you’re at Pei Wei. Oh wait, We’re here already. Hot & spit soup — tasted like someone dropped the pepper shaker inside my cup Edamame — lacking salt and ice cold Pad Thai — probably the least flavor of any pad Thai. I’ve had better frozen dishes. Lo mein — they cooked it until it turned into mush. The worst I’ve had anywhere in America. Broccoli — hard as a rock, totally uncooked. Great interior design and atmosphere saved me from asking for 100% refund. We won’t be back. And hopefully PF Changs shuts down this awful concept. Sorry for the negative review.

I felt I should write an update after my visit last night. The experience was above my expectations, because quite frankly, I had to lower my expectations based on previous experiences. This review is for my take-away order last night. I ordered online, and had pick up time at 9:25. When I arrived, I was greeted, my food was there waiting, I am picky when I order, and I was pleasantly surprised that it was all correct. I ordered Thai Lime and Chile(original) with Brown Rice(on the side), Extra Veg, Extra Shrimp, Protein Combo(Shrimp and Tofu). I asked for crushed peanuts on the side, and the counter girl was able to get them for me. The food tasted good. Normally I would save some of the dish, but I ate it all. It had really nice flavor, the quantity was right, and I actually enjoyed it. It is a new dish/flavor they had, which was spicy and citrusy. I was somewhat of a regular, ordering at least once a week, but gave it a break because of all the issues. What keeps me coming back is the food is good. I think they could be on the way up to 4 stars. I almost gave them 4 stars on this review, but the counter person did have a little attitude, like she didn’t want to be there, so for that reason, Im still holding to 3 stars. 4 stars — food 3 stars — service If my next visit is good, I will give 4 stars.

Very small portions(mostly rice or noodles), big prices. For the same money I can go to PF Chang’s and enjoy quality food, and quality service. Ok, PF Chang’s is a little bit pricier but the portions are almost double. I will never eat at Pei Wei again. The service is not friendly either.

They claim to serve chinese food that is sort of PF Chang. I would say it is very far from PF Chang standards. They have very very small portions(way smaller than in the Mall’s Food Court) and lots of rice. My teryaki chicken(small size) consisted of big bowl full of rice, little sauce and 4 tiny chicken pieces(yes, just 4!) The other dish — coconut curry with vegetables — was little bigger but the sauce was very thick and yucky. I will not return.
