Where to start? Back in November my fiancé had a dental emergency and after calling 10+ places, this was the only one that could see us right away. We went and they did a great job on her and were so friendly I was amazed. This is where my experience starts. Prior to seeing Dr. Saldana I had not been to a dentist in over 10 years. I knew my teeth needed major work done but I have always been terrified of going to the dentist. I had a REALLY bad experience when I was young and it just scarred me. In the past year, however, I finally decided that it was time to start taking care of myself so I started making regular doctor’s appointments. Fixing my teeth was part of the change I wanted to make in my life. Sure enough when I went to see him my teeth were pretty bad. I needed an extraction because I had a broken molar that had been hurting for years. I’m ashamed to say I also had cavities on most of my teeth. Years of neglect. In just 3 visits Dr. Saldana fixed everything. As of 2 days ago I have a healthy set of teeth. Chips I had on front teeth were repaired and it looks 100% natural. Pain I had been dealing with for a long time is gone. Best of all, while he is working you do not feel a thing. I swear I was falling asleep last time I was there.
The office itself is a pretty standard dental office. On the second floor of a small commercial building on Bird Road. Awesome because its 7 blocks from my house. Waiting area is small, but nice. There is a flat screen on the wall that you can watch while you wait and another flat screen in each area where you sit to have work done. The building they are in could use some work but you cannot fault the practice for that. They more than make up for it with their awesome service and affordable prices.
The best part about this place is their customer service. From the doctor to his assistant to Christy and May who work the front desk. They answer all your questions about what is and is not covered by insurance (they take most). If something is not covered by insurance, they are reasonable and try to make it affordable. The doctor is a great guy. He just had his first baby so be sure to congratulate him on his new little boy. Dr. Saldana and his whole staff took something that I used to have nightmares about and made it a great experience. I’m happy to say that I will never neglect my teeth again and I found the dentist that I will be going to until he retires. I’m recommending him to all of my family and friends.
The next time I go see him should be in a few months. I have to save up for the implant I need where the extraction was performed. Implants are generally not covered by insurance, which sucks. But he is giving me a pretty good deal so I should be getting it done soon.

This was the most pleasant experience of a horrible event I could ever imagine! The doctor was careful not to hurt me and I greatly appreciate his assistants’ endless measures to make me feel comfortable and educated as to what was happening. I would recommend this dentist’s office to anybody needing anything from a checkup to a major dental surgery.
