Food is pretty good! Their prices are okei; however, their customer service is terrible, I always have to stand up and ask/pay check!

Was in Miami for half the day, but I made a quick trip to get some Colombian pastries for my girlfriend. I traveled with me from MIA to SFO — and that Colombian was happy to have some authentic Colombian pastries.

Great service and very authentic food. I liked the arepa con queso and grilled chicken. The green hot sauce on the table is yummy with everything. The coffee was fresh and delicious.

I decided to come to this place after reading reviews on Unilocal. This spot comes up as top reviewed Colombia Restaurants. So I decided to check it out with my mom she’s Paisa. So when we arrived at noon on a Tuesday. The parking lot was packed, cars parked one behind each other. After waiting a few minutes caught a spot plus noticed there is street parking on the side. I stepped inside to a splendor of Colombian décor. Our waiter was great attended us quickly and took our order even suggesting a soda that I love but forgot the name of it. After I quickly described he mentioned Colombiana. We got empanadas that were delicious and you must try that green picante. Pretty spicy stuff there, but I love burn your tongue off spice. I ordered a Palomilla yum but I had higher expectations. All in all the food was great just busy parking lot can always park on the side street.

The quality of the food at this place has really gone down, as has their service — as others have remarked. When you dine in, you can help yourself to as much hot sauce as you’d like but God forbid you order takeout and ask for extra because they’ll treat you like a thief or charge you for a minuscule cup of hot sauce(minimum of 4). The empanadas are also not as good as I recall, which is a shame because this used to be my favorite Colombian restaurant in town.

I never leave the beach and I don’t mind making the drive for some of San Pocho’s delicious sancochos and empanadas washed down with an ice cold michelada.

I love the empanadas from this place! Out of the different Colombian restaurants I’ve been to, for some reason I crave the ones from here the most.

Excellent service. Very attentive. El Plato Montañero(which In other places is what is listed as the Bandeja Paisa) was great, but it’s so much food. Empanadas were delicious as well.

We had heard about this place by many and they always spoke of how great it is. We decided to check it out on a Sunday early afternoon for lunch and we got to experience what the hype was about! Their Colombian empanadas are exquisite, stuffed with potato and meat, they’re thick and juicy but crunchy on the outside. They have picante already on the table so there is no need to place an order for picante, save your dollar and order another empanada! Lol seriously do it! The picada is also very good and big enough that two can easily eat and enjoy all the different meats and extras that it brings. Bistec a la Colombiana is topped with tomato juice and onions, tastes just like a home made dish. It’s fresh and enough to feed one. The place is spacious and looks clean. Highly recommend this one!

I love this spot. They have the best Colombian empanadas. So tasteful and always crispy. Food here is great anytime but I typically come for breakfast.

The food was pretty regular but the wait for the food was long and very slow service in general not really impressed at all. I had the grilled chicken with a salted potato, flavors were good but underwhelming. I felt the same for the arepa con queso. Their hot sauce however with the onions although not actually spicy was certainly tasty.

I love this place. My mother is Colombian, therefore half of my heart(AKA my stomach) goes out to Colombian food. Its tough to find a GREAT Colombian restaurant in a city of Cubans, but we found it. This restaurant has the authentic Colombian décor with knickknacks everywhere, the Colombian flag posted up, and advertisements for Colombiana and Aguila everywhere you turn. They play at a decent level spanish pop, merengue, and salsa which just adds to the feeling of home for me. The wait staff is very quick and very helpful. Now for the food. *Drools* I always start off with one of their fresh juices, either made with water or milk. I highly recommend the passion fruit. Along with the passion fruit I will usually order an empanada. These are amazing they taste fresh and home made(without all the corn meal clean up) they have a delicious Aji(salsa) at the center of the table which just freshens up the empanadas even more. After having a delicious empanada, I always order the Sancocho. Now I am a fan of soups and stews so this is always a treat for me. But this oxtail soup is truly spectacular it has large chunks of plantain, potato, yuca, corn, and two pieces of oxtail. It is served with a side of rice. This soup is just so tasty and fresh and delicious and did I mention tasty. It is so filling and flavorful! Now I know not everyone loves soup especially in Miami I know it can be too hot for that sometimes(not for me but like I said fan of soup) so I also recommend their Bandeja Paisa. It is delicious and SO much food. All in all this a great place. Great Ambiance, Great Service, and Fantastic Food.

I took a friend that wanted to try Colombian food. I was so embarrassed; terrible service, the arepas were raw and white, the perico eggs had barely any tomatoes and onions, the plates were leaking on the sides, the«chicharones» crumbled(Too dry) I’m sorry but there are way better places. The best best thing was probably the rice. If at least the service was nice then i wouldn’t have left a negative review.

LOMAXIMO!

First of all, this place is not cheap, therefore their reviews should show 2 $$ not 1. The cheapest option on the menu was the small Mondongo soup for $ 5, which should have come with rice according to the menu, but my lazy good-for-nothing waitress didn’t bring me any. Moving on, at no point did she refill my glass of water or ask me if everything was okay. She was totally unenthusiastic about her job and had another waiter bring me my check instead of bringing it herself. There were only 5 other patrons in the restaurant and 6 waiters. You figure out that equation.(Translation: LAZY) The Mondongo was hard(not chewy as it should be made) and flavorless. It should have come with rice, but I was given none. The morcilla was okay– nothing special. Normally, I wait a bit to write my reviews on a place to give it a 2nd or even 3rd chance, but this place deserves nothing from me. It’s huge with an ocean full of servers yet the service still blows and the food is mediocre! I shall never go back.

This is our favorite Colombian spot. The food is cheap and everything that we have tried so far has been delicious! Con: The parking lot is tiny. When it’s busy, the parking lot is pretty chaotic with drivers creating new spots, parking on sidewalks, and almost backing into each other because they don’t want to wait and take turns. I kept thinking people were going to crash.

One of the best Sancocho Soup in Miami. I also enjoy their daily specials: Arroz con Pollo is really yummy but the oxtail is off the chain. I am not to crazy about the mondogo and the chicken soup is so so. I usually get take out after work, service is fast, but some times the might be out of the soup or daily special if its late in the day. There is plenty of parking during late afternoon. The empanadas are usually fried to order if you dine in, so they serve the nice and hot. I did not like the buñuelo. Table service can be hit or miss, there are a few young guys that are kind of rude but the other staff is typically nice.
