Sea & Air moved my belongings from Brooklyn to London. The movers put their empty lunch in one of our boxes, sealed it and shipped it. They also lost two of my watches. They were not of great value but held sentimental value as one was my grandfather’s and one was my father’s. The other items that were in that drawer, cufflinks, tie clips, etc somehow made it.

This company is doing my move from Philly to Singapore and after quoting me $ 3370 for my move, they take my things and ship it and now have received around $ 7400 in expenses and they still wont deliver my goods from storage because of what they call a computer error. I have never worked with such unprofessional people with no customer service care or an ounce of soul. They have no idea how stressful a move is, let alone one across to the other side of the world. Save yourself a ton of money and migraines and use someone else. Wish I could give em a negative one star

I used Scanio Movers, the same company (more or less) and had a great experience top to bottom. No breakage, no damage, no thugs. Quickly and carefully they wrapped all my furniture. They packed my kitchen breakables snug as a bug in a rug.
They were about 10% more expensive than Schleppers or Flaterate but I had a couple of personal references that held weight for me.
Please note this is NYC, and tips are expected. This is regrettable, but true.
All and all, very pleased.
