Decidí ir anoche de nuevo a este lugar para tomar la cena, lamentablemente mi experiencia no fue buena de nuevo, él lugar se aprecia sucio, pisos sucios, baños sucios y en general poco mantenimiento, además que la atención es mala muchos meseros y ninguno ninguno! te atiende, la comida ha bajado de calidad y él sitio se aprecia viejo maltratado y sin mantenimiento.
Por mi parte he decidido no volver y saarlo de mis recomendaciones hacia otros.
Es una lastima pero hay q decir lo que se siente. Y no me gusto.

Qué mala experiencia. Ordene por eat 24 llegó la comida y el pan esta incomible Parece que la comida la tienen del día anterior. El pan no se puede ni romper con las manos Los ingredientes que lleva adentro parecen piedra. Qué mala experiencia

He frecuentado el lugar desde hace un año y medio la comida siempre ha estado deliciosa, i love the chispa fries, el servicio ha mejorado pero falta que las señoritas que trabajan ahi sonrían mas. algunas son muy amables y educadas otras ni siquiera saludan …

Still my favorite place for Cuban food in north Cuba (aka Miami).
Excellent vaca frita and chicken chimi dishes.
Also, the 2 gals working the takeout counter this evening were absolutely AMAZING!!! They were shoulders deep in the weeds from the moment we walked up and yet they stayed cool as focused cucumbers the entire time.
Very impressive!

How does this place only have 3 stars? It’s definitely 4 – 4.5 stars. I came during breakfast when the restaurant was not as busy so service was great. The food was amazing – probably one of the meals I’ve had in Miami. I ordered an Eggs Benedict cuban style with pork as the meat and other Cuban-​ness I can’t recall. It was so delicious and I was happy it was my last meal before leaving Miami. I wish I could say more, but basically this is an underrated gem in Miami that you must try!

Well management contacted and apologized as you can read, promised me a complimentary lunch on my next visit (which I found a bit unusual and manipulative) and said someone would contact me to provide me with the voucher and never did. Not cool at all :-/​.

Well, management got back to me once again and I’m happy to report they followed thru with the promised gift card this time around. The general manager contacted me personally and once again apologized, offered a gift card which I declined and told him I was only making a point about service and quantity of the items served and how they had let me down, he insisted and told me that changes were coming this new year 2016 to all Sergio’s and visit soon. I told him I would visit again soon. I received another email from staff asking me for my mailing address, I finally gave in about two weeks ago and received the card, last night I stepped into the Bird Road location and ordered a mixed ceviche at the counter and it was refreshing to see the nice presentation, a decent serving with side items and sauce and very tasty. The most impressive part was the service, I have never seen the young staff there as attentive, polite, serviceable and well dressed in their uniforms. Ok, the way it should be, I’m impressed!

This restaurant holds a special place in my heart because my family and I have been going since I was a kid; two decades now.
It is good for very specific things and the everything else is just bad quality food. Their breakfast is great. It’s simple but the price is great and you get their café con leche and their Cuban bread. Next, their tamales, tequeños, empanadas, and croquetas are delicious. Can’t go wrong with anything I listed above.
My husband has tried the palomilla steak and the fajitas and both are terrible! The palomilla was dry and tough; and the fajitas were just bad.
The service is hit or miss when you go and eat in. You never know what you will get.
The worse part though: bathrooms. They are so dirty.

I’ve been a long time customer for over 10 years. Restaurant has gotten worst over the years. It used to be a staple for me and my family, now not so much.
I usually order delivery… used to get here in 15 – 30 minutes, fresh and hot. Nowadays if we order… it takes about an hour and a half for simple sandwiches, and cold. More recently, they got our order wrong and it took 3 and a half hours (from ordering till we got the correct order) to get our correct food.
Not sure what happened, but both the delivery and dining are below par now. I hope it returns back to what it used to be.

If you can eat the food without choking more power to you. I ordered thru eat24 20 minutes before i arrived to pickup my food. They had no idea where my food was and had to wait another 30 minutes. I check my food and there was no rice. They gave me rice. Then I get home and the chicken is burnt to a crisp. I try to take a couple of bites and I almost choke. I call and ask to speak to a manager and after a few people pretend to be the manager I finally get to talk to Pedro. Seems like a nice guy and wants to resolve my issue by sending me another order at no charge as fast as possible… Long story short it’s been an hour and 15 minutes and no food insight. I won’t order from Sergio’s and I do not recommend Sergio’s.

Slow service… Actually VERY slow… Food Just OK. I was looking forward to having brunch here and was unsure after reading positive and negative reviews so I gave it a try.
Management needs to review the «flow» and determine why service is so slow to correct it.
Monica, the supervisor, was very nice.
She came to the table to see how things were and I told her about the slow service, etc. One of my friends credit card was charged twice by mistake and they could not reverse one of the charges… (?!) so we had to figure out how to settle the bill among the 4 of us…

Okay food. Terrible service.
Sergios needs to invest a little money in retraining their staff in menu knowledge.
I was in a the mood for a simple burger I stopped by Sergios since it was on my way.
They have a burger that’s a combination of brisket meat and rib, I asked the server to explain to me how it came and she simply said «its delicious, definitely better than McDonnals. That was her description of it. I said ok and ordered it since I was starving and I figured a burger is a burger. She asked «American or Swiss» I said American, but turns out their American cheese is white.
The worst part was when I asked the server for some bbq sauce, she said they didn’t have that my burger came with a delicious white sauce. So ok, what does the white sauce taste like? What is it? She said «ITS WHITE» great perfect that describes it.
Turns out the white sauce was mayo with garlic, atleast that’s what my taste buds acquired.
The burger was fine, just the service was terribly off.

Excellent restaurant offering Cuban food. Located in Coral Way, there’s plenty of free parking inside and outside seating.
We ordered the lechon asado (pork) and carne con papas (beef with potatoes) e everything was good including the service.

Great place for Cuban Food. Delivery can be a bit long, but overall it is a nice place.
Management seems to have changed recently, and I believe for the better.

This is an excellent Cuban spot on Coral Way. A great outdoor patio to enjoy also. It has a very extensive menu; a few of my favorites include mariquitas for an appetizer, their churrasco for an entrée, their flatbread entrees, their Cuban sandwiches, etc. The proportion sizes are large as that’s typical for Cuban’s. Be sure to enjoy a cortadito, they’re excellent, and they have a little to-​go window outside which is quick and convenient. They also have a section in the menu for some healthier food choices.

Good service, good price and delish food. Cuban food at its best. Try the Arroz con Leche and a great cuban coffee. A little to noisy for me.

Blown away by their new breakfast menu. We had the tortilla with plantains, the bacon eggs benedict, Abuela’s french toast with guava syrup and the cinnamon toast crunch pancakes.
Sergio’s is definitely coming up in the culinary world. We’ve been back 3 times since lol.

I’ve been eating here for years. The food has been pretty consistent. Now I usually hit the coffee window for breakfast at least once a week. The pan con bistec is my favorite for lunch. Bottom line: above average food quality, decent service, plentiful parking at a fair price.

Let me start by saying that the croquettes Sergio’s serves is what keeps me coming back to this place ! The goodness is addicting .
This particular restaurant is hectic at times to find parking. Once inside I am usually seated right away since they have an inside and outside area. The service here is not 5*, the employees don’t seem to receive much training on customer service which can be detrimental to a business. But since the food is great, there is no stopping me from getting my café con leche, tostada y juevos !
I am ecstatic they decided to partner with panther coffee. It is freshly brewed and the capuccino is number 1 for me. It has a hint of cinnamon which you don’t expect. Basically takes you to cloud 9. But what coffee doesn’t ?
I also recommend the chicken empanadas and pastelitos. I’m drooling while writing this .
Sergio’s is my go to breakfast spot !

Went with a senior man hoping he will enjoy the Cuban atmosphere but no. See the whole setting is kinda wrong. The placement of the floor, how they set the tables, the benches and the preparation areas. One cannot sit comfy. At least we did not. I am sorry but it is not good at all. The service was ok. The food was below par. I wanted to like the place coz I been told it is kind of iconic in Miami. I suggest they close for a week or two, re arrange the whole setting. Change the uniforms of there staff and most of all get them to remove the utterly ugly walkie talkie things and take a good start.

Que buen desayunadero !!! con influencia latina en su menu. Super recomendado, muy bien ubicado entre coral way y Brickell. Ademas su espacio abierto y su musica latina hacen de Sergios’s un buen lugar para comer. Tiene muy buen estacionamiento gratis.

This place is so close to my house, and my last 2 experience was horrible place order online they send you wrong items. I went this morning to have breakfast and I’m extremely apolled. you have ur employees arguing across the restaraunt. Your manager telling employees that there are many complaints for the morning staff. I mean honestly they gave me a dirty burnt Cuban bread w no butter. I felt that they was no reason to even eat here I paid my meal did not eat it rejected the food and would u believe the manager did not even come out to see why we did not want breakfast. hire a professional that can run a restaurant it’s obvious the owners are retired review your cameras 6am.
Don’t lose your time or money extremely undesirable staff. Sad it use to be a great place to eat. But truly your not worth rating.

I am forced to give this dump a 1 star because otherwise Unilocal won’t accept my review. This Sergio’s location deserves a Zero. Zero stars for this place.
I made the HUGE mistake of giving this place another shot. I arrived at 11:45 am, it’s currently 1:26 pm and everyone at my table has gotten their food except me. I ordered an omelette. How does an omelette take almost 2 HOURS to make???
The manager came out and said that they are missing a cook today. The fact that they are missing ONE person should not result in this much chaos!!!
The manager comped our meal. However, I will NEVER EVER EVER step foot in this place.

I’m pretty sure every Cuban in Miami knows about Sergio’s, my Cuban self included.
The one thing I cannot leave Sergio’s without ordering is the tostones trio. No matter how full I may be or how much food I ordered I eat every morsel…
SO it’s three perfectly crispy, delicious, and fresh fried tostones. Each is topped with either, pork, shrimp, or ground beef. Then some sauce that is a mystery to me and a pico de gallo type topping.
Definitely recommend that everyone try this!
Everything else on the Sergio’s menu is great. Sandwiches, desserts, coffee… But nothing that truly stands out among the plethora of local Cuban places in Miami.
Important to consider: Sergio’s does offer a great ambiance especially with the outdoor seating and good service.

Food is usually pretty decent at this establishment. Service isn’t always good and sometimes quite slow regardless of amount of guests. It’s in the area when I go visit family, therefore I’ve been here a good number of times. I have noticed an increase in price which is without a doubt having an impact on myself returning, as the food served isn’t much different from other restaurants of its kind.

Siempre que ordenen algo para delivery, antes de pagar chequeen la orden, la persona que toma la orden no presta atención y el que despacha no chequea y faltan cosas, y para colmo te hacen esperar el doble de los 45 minutos y no puedes comer con gusto, el señor del delivery no tiene la culpa, el simplente la trae, y los otros irresponsable les importa un bledo. Chequee la orden!!!
