I discovered this place not too long ago. I first went for breakfast and easily split the meal between two people. I later discovered they have lunch and dinner plus a variety of fruits and veggies for sale as well. The lunch/dinner portions are ridiculous. Make sure to ask about the daily specials which are $ 4.99 for literally two pounds of food. They are also on Groupon at the moment with $ 20 for $ 14 deal that is four specials and food for 8+ ppl. The food is pretty good too. I have had the lechon asado, pollo a la plancha and two other dishes which I forget the name all of which were great. The plates usually come with rice but I have asked them to sub it for another side without a problem. It is way too much rice for me personally. If you are looking for healthy good luck as you will have to portion it out yourself and choose the proper sides. This is definitely not a health spot haha it is a proper Cuban pig out.

Feeding a family on a budget is always a mission to come into agreement, but arroz imperial always comes to the rescue in my girls only household because of its texture, it’s ingredients and of course the yummy melted cheese layered over the top. I normally go to one specific restaurant to get my order of this bomb dish but today I decided to take a try at Soriano brothers and see what they have to offer and I must admit, it was the absolute a WORSE idea I’ve had all day. The rice is far from average. It’s taste isn’t the greatest, almost tastes frozen. Yikes !!! Their platanitos maduros were hard and burnt. Never again will I ever go back to this place. Expensive as heck and far from meeting authentic Cuban food standards.
