Alas although this place had great food and unique cuts of beef it is now CLOSED. Plus this place sucks because they never paid the Wine Goddess for her time working there. Moral of the story: Don’t mess with the Wine Goddess or the Restaurant Gods will not treat you nicely…

The Strip, is one of those places where you want to go with a dozen friends, just to try a dozen different items, but you’d be secretly hoping they would pick up the tab for you. The appetizers were looking delectable, and that being said so were the main courses. Sadly I didn’t go with a dozen friends, so I could try a dozen different items. The Oysters were fresh and cold and great, the Filet Mignon was out of this world, and the Kangaroo was very good, with just a hint of exotic paired with a smokey flavor in the meat. If you closed your eye’s and took a bite of it, you’d think it was a New York Strip, cooked over pecan wood, or at least some type of would to impart that delicate smoked flavor. The service was excellent, the bartender/bar manager was personable and allowed me to sample a Jameson’s Morning Breakfast, what a treat, a Jameson’s Whiskey that is flavored with actual maple bacon, that was a treat, I could have that for breakfast without being labeled an alcoholic. Strip is a great date spot or just hangout at the bar. I liked the place and I’m looking forward to going back!

A welcome addition to the complex. They haven’t had their grand opening yet but so far everything points to a rather tasteful restaurant with some interesting plates. I asked for the antelope after skimming through their menu… Quite the game changer, pun intended. The meat was tender and the gamy taste wasn’t offensive at all. Their happy hour menu is interesting too. $ 1 gets you an oyster… They’re fresh. That’s my only requirement. Keep it up and you’ll keep me coming. I would like to see slightly better pricing, but doesn’t everyone these times?

How interesting, a lot has to be said of a Steakhouse where the first two reviews are from non meat eating Unilocalers. Yup Sabrina L and I both are Pesceatarians. No, we didn’t go together but I was with another Pesco at my side. We had heard the place is off the charts delicious and well, it actually was. Now, I don’t eat any kind of fish/shrimp/lobster/crab etc. unless it is worth it. Here it was. My Salmon was delicious and the Tuna Tartar I started with was really worth every red delicious nibble, it was so fresh it melted in my mouth. With it we started with the Crab cake and it too was amazing. Our side dishes were delicious Hash Browns and huge Asparagus. With our delectable meal we had the house red(yea, yea, not supposed to have red with fish, yadda, yadda… whatever. White is for the faint of heart, I love my red). It happened to be the Castronovo Vineyards Montepulciano D’Abruzzo that I had heard about on the Paul and Young Ron show. I must say to Paulie — YEA! That is what I am talking about my friend! Great wine! Kudos and congrats on such wonderful and affordable wine. It was so good, afterwards we went to the nearest retailer that carries it and bought ourselves 3 bottles. Mr. Castronovo, again, well played. Now what can I say about a place that has good food? The only thing that could potentially ruin my experience would be bad service, but alas, that was NOT an issue here. The service was exactly what you expect from a top notch Steak House. I felt like I was totally taken care of, here you are special. This is a great place for Meat lovers and Non-Meat eaters alike. Not to be missed! Note: the incredibly difficult to find location is worth it, I promise.

Visited this restaurant for their soft opening and had a good experience. For once I loved the red and black décor. The bartender made me a really good sour apple martini and the service was top notch. Everyone is still learning the ropes but are doing their best in providing good service. Even though I do not eat meat, I was told all their meats are brought from a farm and the animals are grass fed, which means is better quality. My friend tried the fillet Mignon and I had the lobster mac and cheese. My dish was soo good! and my friend really enjoyed his too. The bar is still not fully stacked but it will be in a few weeks. I will be back for their grand opening and try more of their dishes.
