Was there for dinner on 1⁄23. Kevin, our server was great. We tried all his recommendations, loved the food and the service. Being from Ft. Lauderdale, it was great to learn from him of the Las Olas location and the Pisco bar. we shall try that one soon. Thanks

I’ve eaten here twice and although it is the smallest restaurant I’ve ever been to and is definitely not the most appealing looking place with the most minimal tables I’ve ever seen I think it is definitely a great spot to get some sushi. The service is attentive and the food tastes amazingly fresh and with that being said Sushi Maki is right around the corner and their sushi tastes beyond fake and terrible. One of the biggest perks in my opinion is the fact that on most but not all you can order half orders of sushi so you can order 2 different types at the price of one full order. I’ve tried the Coconut Roll & the SuViche Roll both are fantastic! Only reason this doesn’t get 5 is cause the minimal seating so I do not recommend it for groups any bigger than 4

Mouthwatering Peruvian/Japanese/American food fusion. :) Highly recommend the following: ++ Spicy Tuna Roll: Of the 2 rolls we ordered, this one is my fave. Had a nice kick, super yummy, and the crunchy tempura flakes that go with it are a great touch. If you like spicy tuna rolls, go for it! ++ Samba Roll: This one was a yum roll, but paled in comparison(for me) with the spicy tuna roll. I think it’s the heat of the ST roll that just clinched it for me. :) ++ Ceviche Natural: I’m slowly turning into a ceviche fan. This was the perfect blend of lime/red onion flavors. The amount of fish was decent, tasted great, and I love the combo of the crunchy corn and the(I’m assuming) boiled softer corn, haha. ++ Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice(name?): From the happy hour menu, this was awesome as a side/appetizer. I love the texture differences: the crisipiness of the(literally) fried rice and the fish mixture + the smooth slice of avocado. The rice was a tad too crispy(for my personal taste), but I still had to force myself not to eat a 3rd one(5 on a plate; 2 for me, 3 for the boy, but I kind of wanted to fight him for that 3rd piece… haha!). :) ++ Oreo Pie: For dessert, definitely try this if you’re an oreo or cookies/cream fan. You won’t be able to finish this huge hunk of pie, but it’ll be heavenly while you’re eating it. Don’t listen to the angel on your shoulder that’s telling you how much you’ll need to workout to work off the calories. Who cares? It’s OREOPIE. ‘Nuf said. Service was lovely, and we sat inside(as opposed to outside). Would come back again. :)

SuViche is a pretty tiny spot in the great Brickell scheme of things, but glad I finally gave it a shot. Five of us arrived hungry and ordered a lot to fill our large table inside. Here’s what we got: Lomo saltado spring rolls — I usually am not a fan of spring rolls but these are on another level. I liked them because the fried exterior wasn’t the focus, but rather the meat. The huancaina sauce was addicting and, most importantly, the dish came out fast which we needed to calm our rumbling bellies. Crispy quinoa cakes topped with tuna — Our waitress INSISTED we order these off of the new seasonal menu. I’m so glad she did! I could have ate a whole platter of these myself. Suviche and Suvama Ceviches — These were pretty similar, to be honest. I liked the Suvama a little bit more because it had more aji amarillo(rather than Japanese) flavor, but was honestly pretty happy with both! Lime Roll — This sushi roll wasn’t my favorite. I didn’t love chewing on lime peel but once I took that off, it wasn’t too bad. Jalapeño Roll — I definitely enjoyed this one more! The jalapeño sliced on top was pretty mild. I’d order again. Oreo Cheesecake — I love cheesecake and this definitely hit the spot. It bursted with Oreo flavor so make sure you’re a fan of both before you order. We didn’t leave a crumb on the plate. Suspiro Limeno — Not as sweet as the cheesecake, this traditional Peruvian dessert was a nice and easy finish to our meal. As others have mentioned, they don’t have a full bar but there are plenty of other places around Mary Brickell Village to grab a drink after. Overall, I was happy with our service and found the food to be served fast and fresh! Happy I finally crossed this place off my neighborhood hit list.

Recommendation: pay with cash. They have issues when it comes to processing debit card payments: The last time I visited this place was in October. Two weeks after this(November) they processed my debit card again and charged the same amount from the previous time. Still waiting for the refund. Had to call the bank to make a complaint. Ain’t nobody got time for that.

Small place, but excellent service and fantastic quality, service is fast; prices are cheap considering the great quality. Had tried different plates all are to die 4 Visited several times the service and quality are consistent, Had ordered their delivery services and their to go service is awesome as well. Bathroom and common areas are clean and neat Wish they work investing in a better extractor when eating inside you left with the food odor stuck to your clothes(worth it). What you see is what you get. I highly recommend it.

This little place is really good. Great friendly service and delicious food. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because of the size. It is not very comfortable and there are not many tables to sit in. However, it seems like many customers order food for pickup instead of sit in. My dish was delicious. This place has a fusion of Japanese and Peruvian food, so if you are into sushi… They’ve got it. And it looked very good! Would go back when I go back to Brickell.

SuViche. SuPer! It was an interesting thought to have ceviche and sushi in the same restaurant. While a friend was visiting, we decided to finally try out the place. He tried one of their signature rolls, along with a jalapeño roll, and a tuna based roll. The jalapeño roll was an easy favorite. The jalapeño itself is mild, which compliments the light, Fresh sushi in the best manner. But topping the sushi is a dollop of torched mayo. This sauce made the experience even more incredible. I opted for a crowd favorite– the cilantro roll. Never have I seen a cilantro based sauce as part of sushi. Beyond tasty! But to keep true to the vibe, I also ordered the Chifa ceviche. Fresh, wonderful white fish topped with teriyaki citrus juices, avocado, pickled ginger, red onions, and wonton crisps. East meets west(well Peru) at its finest. I couldn’t believe how great ceviche could taste with Asian flavors. We finished off our meal with the free espresso from checking in! Overall: service was fast and pleasant and the food was reasonably priced and WONDERFUL. Will definitely be back.

Love this place. I have eaten in all 3 locations … You can always find fresh and nice quality fish. The ceviches are great and amazing sushi. If you don’t like sushi with a lot of sauces, i don’t think you should order sushi, but you should definitely try it.

A friend took me here last week while visiting Miami. It was very nice. Definitely give it a strong four stars. It’s an interesting mixture of a Peruvian and sushi menu. I tried one of their specialty rolls, which had a combination shrimp and coconut. Interesting. Not my favorite sushi roll of all time, but it was different. We also tried the ceviche(excellent), and another traditional dish with beef. Also excellent. The desserts are not one of their strengths. The«cheesecake» we ordered left much to be desired, the but server let us know that she didn’t particularly like them either, and actually took it off the check. Worth trying this place if you’re in the area. Ask for the patio if there’s room.

The absolute most flavorful fish I’ve had in m y life and I completely forgot how to pronounce the name of it. Ugh places like this truly make me wish I lived in Miami so I could just eat it everyday of my life. Idk how authentic this place is, but who cares. The food is incredible the chef really knows and must love what he is doing because you can taste the love in his dishes! I’ve never eaten as fast as I did with this food it was amazing. It was my first time trying Peruvian and man oh man did they really kick some butt! Great establishment. If I’m ever in the area in definitely going!

The last stop of the ceviche crawl UYE. I had no idea exactly how small this location of SuViche is, but they describe it themselves as a hole in a wall, and I’m not disputing that lol. Due to the tiny-ness of the restaurant we were forced to sit separately, so we did 4 inside and 5 outside, which eventually led to the merging of the group outside after some diners left and others shuffled around. To be honest, by this point I was a little sick of ceviche so I opted to go the sushi route. Though to be far I did try a bite of Michelle C’s ceviche in a red sauce and it was pretty good! The crispy onions on top were a nice texture addition and taste-wise. We were excited to learn we arrived during happy hour, so 2−4−1, but disappointed to learn that this location doesn’t have a full liquor licence, so we were stuck with wine or beer — and most beers they seemed out of stock on.(More about the 2−4−1 later). Our waitress seemed a little overwhelmed, maybe because we were a larger group, or because every beer we wanted wasn’t available, and this became even more apparent when we got our bill. Overall, the service had some issues. I had to ask multiple times for water. Others had their food come out way, way too late. For food, I went with the lime roll. Beautiful presentation, but not quite how I imagined it. I had to kick off all the lime pieces since eating the lime skin isn’t really tasty to me? The good things about rolls here is a) they come in half portions if you want to try a bunch and b) they are pretty tasty. The bad things about rolls here is that a) they are tiny and b) they are pricey considering the size. All of the food I tried was delicious, so that’s keeping me at 3 stars, but for the money and portion size, on top of service issues I wouldn’t be in any haste to come back. So, then the check came. It wasn’t split, which is ok… happens a lot… but suddenly the 2−4−1 was now buy one get one free, with the cheapest options becoming the free options. After quite some back and forth with management we were able to split the checks and then have the proper 2−4−1 discount applied, but trust me this wasn’t easy, and«some back and forth» may be a bit of an understatement.

The owner of the restaurant contacted me to make things right and show that my experience was an exception, and not the norm. Well I went with a friend for a meal on the house, and it was indeed much better than the delivery experience I had. I would give them another try for delivery when the craving hits.

I never understood why people are so obsessed with this place! I lived literally right above here for 3 years and only went here 3 times in those 3 years. Hopefully that says something. Their sushi(got the spicy tuna roll and California roll) are nothing special. I don’t know why you would go here for the sushi when you can cross the streets Doraku and have amazing sushi for less! Their ceviche is also nothing special. The fish is low quality, the sauce not very flavorful, and I hate how they mix the hard corn with the sauce. Again, I don’t know why you would go here when you can go to My Ceviche down the street for much better sushi at the same price! Try it and see if you like it but also try out other sushi and ceviche places nearby and you might be pleasantly surprised.
