Tango Grill

It’s ok. I mean its mall food. Reminds me of the Asian food places at the mall, with a South American twist. But it’s nothing to write home about. I don’t like the drink choices. They had nothing to drink that I would drink, basically just soda.

New Food Truck!
At least it was when I got there. Tango Grill specializes in Argentinean, Colombian, and Venezuelan grilled meats. They debuted sometime earlier this year and they should be here to stay. The food was pretty good and the prices were pretty average for a food truck. The thing I enjoyed about their food truck was the selection that they had available. As soon as you walk within the vicinity of this truck, you could smell the grilled meat. That smell lured me in and forced me to buy something.
I got the Tango Combo #1 (Parrillada) which came with beef, chicken, chorizo, fries, and a soda. My friend ordered a Choripan (Chorizo sausage sandwich). The Combo cost $ 12 while the choripan costs $ 4. One problem was the wait, it seemed like the line for people waiting for their food was longer than the line for people ordering. But when it finally came out, it looked good.
For $ 12, I was hoping for a larger portion, but it still filled me up. The beef had good flavor and seasoning, but it was a little dry and not that tender. The chicken was actually a little tenderer but also dry. The chorizo was the best meat that they had. It was grilled to perfection and was real juicy and flavorful. Every bite made me want more of it. The fries were good too, but they’re fries (not hard to do). After trying the chorizo, it made me want my buddy’s choripan. It was a chorizo in this hoagie roll with the cilantro onion sauce. It looked incredible. (Couldn’t even steal a bite)
This food truck is pretty good, but I’m hoping for lower prices in the future (or bigger portions… yeah bigger portions sounds better). The guy working there wasn’t the friendliest guy but he was doing his job. Will have to try this truck again to give the choripan a shot.
