The attending physicians here are amazing. The clinical and non clinal staff is absolutely horrible. If you are going to UMH for an outpatient procedure this place will do, however if the procedure requires inpatient processing please DONOTGOHERE. They have the rudest, poorly trained and negligence written nursing staff in South Florida. Stay away from this place at all costs it’s really not worth the stress and headache this place will put on the patient, family and friends.

This is really a dirty old hospital. If you really like your doctor, see if they admit to a nicer place than this. Moldy looking bathroom and all around air vents. Water damage peeling paint. Business can not be that bad.

Regarding the ER, I felt like I was in a third world facility. I was there about 6 months ago and care was great… WHATHAPPENED… I had to be taken, recently, by ambulance. The attending nurse was really proficient. The«services» of the«Dr.» Was verging on malpractice. His inadequacy of being able to diagnose could have caused my kidneys to fail, had I gone home as he instructed. After I finished my saline, they could not get me out fast enough. I made my way to Sylvester Cancer center where my PCP is housed and with a simple urine test, he discovered I had an infection that needed immediate attention. The remnants of the bad image of the previous hospital company will quickly return to this attempt of re-branding for a better image for U/M. Again, WHATHAPPENED? Like night and day in only 6 months. I even had a nurse tell me the service was going downhill… Understaffed maybe? Is it that the bottom line taking precedence over patient care?
