Great location and the cutest ambiance. We were there on a weekend and loved the fact that everyone was sitting outside and we had a small space to ourselves. The lighting and the service gives an intimate and calming setting and if you’re a lover of red wine try The Riddler!

Started with the Dark Chocolate Bacon which was pretty good, but I wasn’t crazy about them. Next we had the mushroom polenta and«The Vault Meatballs» which were good and full of flavor. Happy hour prices are a great for what you get. Nice ambiance, and friendly service.

So I have mixed feelings about this place. I came here last week Friday, albeit on a rainy night. I was expecting it to be busier then it was. The service was courteous and the food was better then we had anticipated. I’m just not sure why their weren’t more people at this place during a Friday night at 9:30pm. The rest of the restaurants in the midtown area seemed to have some activity. The place is extremely small and can only seat about 20 people with some seating outside. The food is not cheap but then again your paying for the«midtown» appeal which in my opinion is overrated. I probably would go back but it would have to be with a big group of friends and on a busier night. I had a cheese and meat platter with a few house beers and a mushroom polenta platter.

We decided to look for a place to have happy hour prior to dinner on saturday night. We originally went to another location in midtown that was shown as open on Unilocal but than was closed when we came to the location. So we ubered on over to wine vault, the closest wine bar. They have a cute/indoor outdoor space, in a nice location in the shops at midtown. They had a TV outside playing college football so we decided to sit outside. They have happy hour daily 3−8pm, wines and bubbly range from about 4 – 5 $. I ordered brut and hubby ordered sauvignon blanc. We decided to order the pork meatballs with pesto sauce. $ 14 three pork meatballs(a little pricey) in a creamy pesto sauce with melted mozz on top with 4 pieces of small toasted garlic bread. This was pretty tasty, although I attribute it mostly to the sauce. The spicy pork meatballs were not spicy and could’ve used a little more seasoning. All in all, nice setting, and reasonable pricing with okay food. I would not go out of my way to come here because I live in brickell, but I would suggest it if we were in midtown and couldn’t think of something new to try.

Food was pretty good. Service was good. Ambience and selection are sub par really. Prices are okay. Overall an okay experience. Chorizo and manchego board was very tasty with olive tapenade and a sweet jelly, some greens and small pieces of bread. Very good. Chocolate bacon is too chewy. It’s honestly ok. Mushroom palenta was good too Wine and beer selection leave something to be desired. I’d go back but not in a rush to do so.

Walked in for the last 5 minutes of happy hour and the staff was happy to wait till we got comfortable to order. Ordered a $ 5 happy hour drink called the pineapple express which was nice and light, but a bit boring(albeit it is a happy hour drink). We also ordered the hummus and artichoke hearts which were a delicious appetizer and great for my vegetarian friend. I ordered the prosciutto flatbread for myself which was absolutely delicious but a bit salty(still the best flatbread I’ve ever had). The darker atmosphere was a great reprieve from normal midtown. It was Sunday so it was a bit quiet but this place deserves more attention all week round.

The cutest little wine bar in Midtown. What better way to finish off a day of shopping than with a nice happy hour(3 – 8). Fast and unobtrusive service. Our server Mike was a cutie and also very efficient. We sat inside away from the humidity and enjoy the awesome rock and roll music selection. We had the Prosciutto Flatbread, Hummus Trio, and Blue Cheese Artichoke Hearts. They all were awesome especially to be happy hour items. This is def our new fav Midtown spot!

This place has all the right things for a great wine bar. It’s small, quaint, low lighting, cozy type atmosphere. Last night may have been a bit off. The place was pretty empty. The service was OK. Our server couldn’t really answer any questions about the wine list or recommend a wine or foods to pair with it. He found someone who did the gentlemen made a fine recommendation of a nice blend called the Riddler. I enjoyed the glass. We tried the chocolate bacon and the prosciutto flat bread. I felt like we could have gotten more out of the experience had the server taken time to go over their menu offering and offer up some suggestions. All in all the place is OK. I dont live in midtown so not sure Id drive back to visit here again unless I was doing some shopping close by. We ended up trying the place next door for more food. Lastly, when we received our bill it was tagged!!! WHOTAGS A TABLEFOR2PEOPLE? I’m not sure if there was a general rule for this place on their menu as I didnt really look but isnt the standard 6 ppl or more? I wasnt in the mood to argue over it but that was just poor taste in my opinion. Overall disappointed.

Stopped in for some happy hour drinks and appetizers. Cozy atmosphere and the owner is charming and delightful — he’ll stop by and chat. Obvious incredible wine selection and nice offerings of wine/cheeses/flatbreads/lighter fare. I feel like you can come here with a book and sit for hours and settle in. Seems like it would be great for a business happy hour as well. The location is a bit difficult; wedged in the midtown cul de sac not in plain view from the street but if they’ve made it a couple years in Miami, they must be doing something right. They also have premium wines and champagnes which would be nice for a casual celebration.

Worst Restaurant Ever! I never had such a disappointment like this ever in my life. We arrived for a late night snack, asked for two classes of wine. The waiter«Mike» had no absolutely knowledge of any wine, any grape or anything about it. Isn’t the name«Wine Vault»? We asked for the mussels, mushroom polenta and mini burgers. Mussels were so salty and bitter that I had to spit out of my mouth, polenta was cold and no flavor at all, the«mini burger» was okey I guess… The meat was over saturated with condiments, the whole flavor with its French bread and cold onions were disappointing. The worst of everything we waited 30 minutes for the food, when we asked the waiter his respond was«the item that you asked for are the ones the take the most» Then he run to the kitchen and 2 minutes later the food was on our table cold. I guess he forgot the order? Really?!! Really!!! I describe it as «Airport Food» expensive, no flavor, no value, an offense to food, no nothing. I’ve worked in the restaurant business for more than 10 years, as well I dined and try different restaurants and this was an insult.

If you are in the midtown area and want to check out a bar, this would be a good place to come and have glass of wine or a beer. The name«wine vault» was a leading misleading to me, looks more like just a regular bar than a place that specializes in wines. Wine selection was somewhat limited. The hummus with pita bread was not something I would recommend, the hummus was far from flavorful. For dessert had some chocolate brownie with ice cream(can’t recall the name) it was delicious, 18% gratuity included in the check no matter the party size

This was a nice stop after dealing with some not-for-entertainment related business in the area. It was around 6:30pm and I just wanted to have a little something before heading back home. I saw the word«wine» from afar next to «happy hour» and I was hooked. It is a small-ish bar with outside seating. The inside has a dark, intimate vibe and, although I was wearing shorts and sandals this time, I definitely see myself coming back in the evening with red lips and some sort of heals. We had the premium wine by the glass for happy hour and it didn’t disappoint. For eats we had the chocolate covered bacon with jam, the mushroom polenta and the chorizo and prosciutto flatbreads. Everything was delicious and service was on point. I was feeling so good I couldn’t help it but to regret it wasn’t Saturday night and it wasn’t heals what I was wearing. I definitely have to go back and redeem myself!

Only four stars for now because I haven’t had a full experience here. But I plan to return for one. The manager was informative friendly and personable. The setting is very nice and relaxing. I look forward to returning for a couples night.

Happy Hour 3 – 8 — LOVE Wine — Good Mushroom Polenta — Amazing Chocolate Bacon — Doubly Amazing, we ordered 2 Hummus Trio — Very Good but got outshined by the other two, but good enough that I would also order again. Service — Excellent, our server did a great job of reading our needs coming often when we were actively ordering and knowing when to back off and just observe when we needed to. Didn’t feel pushed to leave or order more once we started slowing down at all. Happy hour prices good. Wine was nice, not the most extensive selection that I’ve seen but is a comfortable place, nice service decent wine that I will return to again and again. Keep it up!

This place sucked. They were on the kitchen hop and the service sucked and the food sample was small as ever. They didn’t have anything ready for the patrons and were serving a quarter of a meatball. They attempted to hold patrons in this area to purchase items from them so they could make money. I had the sangria and it took over ten minutes to come out. They suck!!!

The best happy hour anywhere! Have been here twice for Sunday happy hour. While the actual happy hour is everyday, Sunday afternoon just seem the most appropriate. The mushroom polenta is fantastic so are the flat breads. My fav is the prosciutto. The best, though, is the champagne for happy hour: $ 5!!! They carry a great brand too: Louis Charles Will be back for more!

This place is amazing!!! The food is incredible! Absolutely incredible! This is a must go to place!!! Amazing wine– amazing food– and the owner Mike knows his stuff! We had an amazing experience here and we will definitely be coming back time and time again! We had a meat and cheese plate and the prosciutto was the best I’ve had. The tomato bisque was a special and I almost died at the taste! Incredible. The sliders are also out of this world! Please stop by here if you are in the area– even if not it’s worth the trip! The chef Sean is incredible!!! Best time here!

Must keep it at three since we do not have half star options. More like a 3 ½ experience. A coworker and I came in after work. The inside is pretty cool, although it is small. They have a very long bar to your right when you first walk in then chairs and couches lined up against the wall to your left. Soft lighting, I could see how it could be romantic and a great place for a date. My friend and I were greeted by a very friendly very good looking bartender. Yes he was eye candy for sure. He handed us the happy hour menu which did not impress me. I really wish more places offered better quality wines on their happy hour menu besides $ 4 house wine. I usually prefer half price glasses of any wine on the btg menu. This way you have options and it satisfies all palettes. We ordered a cheese platter and later on my hubby met up with us and he ordered some hummus which was OK. They have tapas but nothing memorable as far as the food for me. I saw the elevator but had no idea what was up there, oh man a fireplace is up there? I could use one right now with a red glass of wine. LOL The décor is inviting, sexy, and chill, service was very good. The wine list was good. Prices for wine are on the higher end. Cool place to check out, just did not WOW me.
