Michiana Mechanical

Our house has two complete HVAC systems, one for each floor. After 26 years, it was time for replacements. Michiana Mechanical was not the cheapest, but their proposal was the most complete and professional (after a thorough survey of the house) and I had had some experience with the technicians who did seasonal maintenance on the old systems for the past few years. The second floor had an attic installation and the new system is more compact. The installers did an excellent job in re configuring the attic. They ran new refrigerant lines, adjusted the chimney, and laid plywood across the joists in the attic. They were extremely neat and they left the attic cleaner than when they started. The high efficiency Lennox furnace and a/​c are much quieter than the old unit. The basement installation of the first floor system was easier and the technicians were able to install the furnace and a/​c fairly quickly. They installed an internet connected thermostat which can be controlled using an app on my iPhone. Paul, the owner, did a final inspection with me before my final payment, answering any questions I might have. In addition to Lennox’s warranty, Michiana also has a labor guarantee that should alleviate any possible concerns. Michiana Mechanical is professional, extremely competent, and responsive to the homeowner’s needs. I highly recommend this company.
