Everyone said how great the pizza was and I thought it was average at best. Went in for take out and stood there for several minutes with the money in my hand with no response from waitress. The bus boy volunteered to retrieve my food to the waitress/​bartender. She said sure but finish what your’e doing first. After 5 minutes of watching him struggle to put trash bags in 2 waste baskets I vowed to never go again.

Food was ok been coming here awhile last few visits has been down hill .I use to get a sub (chicken parm), it would have generous portions of chicken last few times hmmm little less then desirable. Ordered a sub got a sandwich then took that one breast spread it through a sub roll … Not an idiot. Can’t send back already did once. Couldn’t imagine if it went back again. Probably the last time we come here. It’s a shame … Because my fiancé and I enjoyed going …

We’ve eaten in and had take out. The pizza is awesome. My kid loves the Mash Potato and Bacon pizza. They have a decent selection of beers and plenty of screens to watch whatever game is on. It does have a townie bar feel to it but the staff are welcoming to all so don’t pass it up.

We used to love this place. It was our go to for pizza every week until we found a piece of grill brush on our pizza one time and something we couldn’t even figure out another time. Food was incredible but after finding things in food, not trusting the cleanliness of here. Very sad to have to have had to find a new pizza place.

I went in to get dinner on Wednesday night. It took 20 min to get our sodas so after an hour and a half wait for 2 pizzas I asked if we could get them to go. Apparently it was ½ prices pizza night and couldn’t get the ½ off even though I sat there for over in hour waiting with intentions to eat in. Waitress was so rude just ended up paying full prices and leaving. Got home pizza was so gross couldn’t even finish a slice. Fair to say worst 27.00 dollars I’ve ever spent.

Went in on a Monday with my parents because they love the $ 2 cheese pizza deal. They also have a good variety of beer to choose from. The pizza was great and it’s a wonderful little place to check out. Only downside was I ordered the bbq chicken quesadilla that was on a special and it was disgusting, I should have stuck with the cheese pizza…

Great pizza and pub food! $ 2 cheese pizza on Mondays. ½ price pizzas on Tuesday and Wednesday. A large boneless wings with 4 beer special on Thursday. Then fresh seafood specials on Friday to Sunday. Very busy on pizza special nights! Very friendly attentive staff! Give this place a try… you’ll be pleased!

the food is wonderful, great pizza. I would have rated it higher but the service if you are not a regular is seriously lacking. We never got refills on our drinks, and the waitress only came to take our order, someone else brought us the food. maybe go there to pick up the pizza?

Awesome bar pizza and cheap bear. This place is a Middleboro classic! The servers are always attentive and friendly and if you’re from the ‘boro there is a 100% chance that you will know at least a few people in there. Very laid back atmosphere.

My previous review was during a time for the central where they changed the recipe size and pans for the pizza. it took them almost a year to change it back but they have and it is still delicious and the best pizza around.
I wanted to also say how delicious their boneless buffalo tenders are and how huge they are. I recommend you try them out they are home made cut not like any other restaurants boneless chicken I’ve ever had. The central’s boneless buffalo is by far the best biggest and juiciest chicken I’ve had. You can chose between hot or mild I’ve tried both. They make their own blue cheese full of chunks of the delicious cheese. I usually get the meal which comes with a side salad and french fries which I always change to their beer battered and home made onion rings which I would also recommend if you love onion rings…
Enjoy the central café!

Met with a friend while we were staying in Middleboro. There was very little parking — we both had to do a few laps around the block before we each found a spot. When we went inside nobody greeted us and after standing there a few minutes we decided to snag the remaining table. My friend had the chicken parm, I had linguica pizza, and my husband had the Greek pizza. The food was good but nothing outstanding. Realistically, I did not see a lot of non-​chain food options in the area and other reviews mentioned how it was kind of a dive. So no real surprises here. If I was back in the area I would probably try something else.

My husband and I just left The Central. We live right down the street, but for some reason had only been there once before tonight. The food is good, typical pub food. The reason for the poor rating was the service. My husband ordered clam chowder, but it never came. Since the waitress never came to check on us, we asked another employee for it. Our waitress, Ana, delivered it about 5 minutes later and said «You never ordered this. Otherwise I would’ve brought it.» He did order this, and not getting it at first was not a big deal, we just figured she hadn’t heard or forgot because it was busy. After that, the service and unfriendliness got worse. She ignored us until we were almost done and our drinks had long been empty. She then brought all the tables around us their drinks before returning with ours. We will not be returning to the central because of this waitress.

The Central is a town staple. But folks need to remember what it is… it’s a bar that serves pizza. Anyone who goes for a steak tip dinner is bound to be disappointed. Save that for a regular restaurant. Central is great for watching a game, having a few drinks and a pizza and meeting old friends
Good pizza… decent bar food… comfortable atmosphere… hell, it’s The Central!
