I’m never disappointed when we come here. Great menu, good specials and amazing service. Everyone that works here is super friendly and it has a real neighborhood, small town feel. The wings in their appetizer sampler are my favorite– I don’t know what it is but they are. They specials are always delicious — good sauces and interesting ingredients If your in the area– I would definitely check it out.

Grandma’s pie is the way to go! Their entrée portions are large, can easily be shared between 2 so you can get a couple things to taste!

Mario’s Pizza Center is a mix between a high-end pizza mecca and a casual Italian Dining restaurant. Mario’s offers the option of a pizza place that makes some amazing and filling pizzas that range from $ 10 to $ 25 depending on how many toppings and combinations you’re planning on getting but they’re big pies and have some great selections to pick from. Their Sicilian pizza is quite good but they offer a meat lovers option that will bring you to tears of joy after a hard loss after a football game. You also have the option of dining in for a casual Italian dinner with a BYOB option for wine lovers. The meals are nice and waiter service has always been pleasant.

Pizza is fine but the pricing is out of whack for what you get. Had dinner there enough times to know that the feeling of being unimpressed is accurate. I don’t get it, for a mom and pop place you would think they’d take pride in the quality food they serve. You can get good things like the focaccia or soups but most of the non-pizza food items leave you feeling like you ate fast-food type Italian — super heavy, super carb heavy and bland. Service seems understaffed as they are always running around and isn’t enjoyable when you can sense the hectic atmosphere. But in a town saturated with Italian restaurants and neighboring towns also bursting with options I just don’t see why you would choose Pizza Center over the competition because it is just not remarkable.

This place has made awesome Italian for years. It’s a family run place and new specials each week to choose from make this a better choice than any chain or pre-made pizza crap. Delicious handmade pizza. They use a good quality cheese because the slices and pies are never greasey or floppy. I would definitely recommend this spot too anyone looking for good Italian food and great pizza. They also have a new lunch menu if you can get there before 3 with new items and I’m told there will be a new dinner menu soon as well.

Pizza center is always a great time. You are always warmly welcomed by the staff. Met the owner and had a great conversation, felt very appreciative of the time he gave considering how busy it was. Had the Tortellini Milano and it was excellent. The sauce was very good and the Tortellini fresh. The bread is amazing! Our waiter Rich was excellent, very fast and efficient. Had Chocolate mousse cake for dessert and it was delicious.

Great food at a a great price. Staff is excellent. This is an area of NJ where there are way too many pizza places. The pizza is done correctly. Not overdone with too much sauce or too much cheese. Ask anyone who knows good pizza and they will tell you Pizza Center is great. Don’t stop just for the pizza though. Soups made to order and weekly dinner specials that are awesome without breaking your piggy bank open! Also BYOB!

Went here because of the reviews and always saw a packed parking lot. Left very disappointed and wondering what was the big deal. Pasta tasted like it was microwaved. Gnocchi was a mushy, pasty mess. Wouldn’t go back… wouldn’t recommend.

Found ourselves in this area for the first time in 20 years and wanted to have some Familiar Italian food from my youth. This place was truly a gem! I had the lasagna which was home made and a crispy salad and warm delicious bread just out of the oven. Absolutely delicious! Also a large cheese pizza which was just as great as I had remembered from my youth. The rest of my party was equally impressed with the portion sizes and taste. Here. Visiting the east coast for only a couple of days I Could not have been more satisfied with this dining experience. It was everything I was hoping for! What a pleasant surprise.

In an area saturated with pizza and Italian restaurants, the Pizza Center has very good food with very good service and the very BEST pizza, all at a reasonable cost.

Tristan P asked me last week what my three favorite pizza places were and I had a tough time whittling it down to three… especially since I hadn’t even reviewed all of the pizza places I’ve eaten at over the past few months(I’m sadly WAY behind on my reviews). After giving her my short-list I realized that I forgot all about Pizza Center. Used to ride my bike to Middlesex from Piscataway JUST to get some slices from this place. Pizza was always great… and I don’t throw that word around when it comes to pizza. Now, my most recent visit for a couple slices brought back memories, but the pizza didn’t seem to match up with the memories of my taste buds. Pizza was still very good, but the crust was a little thicker than I remember… not terrible, but if you’ve read my pizza reviews I’ve said before that I prefer a nice thin crust. I had a plain slice and a sausage slice… kind of my standard order, and they were surely good enough to bring me back the next time I’m in the area. A friend of mine says the Penne with vodka sauce is excellent so maybe the next time I’m in the area I’ll give it a try. I’d say 3.5 stars, but everyone behind the counter was so nice and friendly that I’m pumping it up to 4 stars. Great job Pizza Center!

Mario’s Pizza Center is one of the best pizza places in NJ. I’ve lived all over the state and recently moved to Piscataway, and my boyfriend and I drive out of the way to come here. It may say«Pizza Center» in their title but they have a huge, extensive menu with a lot of amazing options. Their food is really, really fresh and they always have new specials every week. Our favorite is to get vegetarian soup when they have it — its homemade, fresh and comes in a huge boat sized bowl. With entrees and sit down meals they bring out these addictive, warm and chewy pizza dough bread sticks. They’re amazing with their salads. Customer service here is also a huge plus for us. The owner is here every time we visit and he is extremely friendly, kind and considerate. He always personally greets us and rings us up. On Tuesday nights they have half off pasta dishes, so it makes for a cheap dinner date night. I highly recommend this place!

Pizza was decent. I thought it was a little on the doughy side. Would definitely go there again and try their pasta dinners or a sandwich.

When I had an office in the area I would find myself going here on a pretty consistent basis for years when they were located in the strip mall just east of where they are today. The same family owns it today and the food is just as good. In recent years the Focaccia sandwich has become my favorite menu item for a quick lunch when I am in town again.

this pizza is flavorful and has a great texture… its just perfect. the sauce is tomato-ey and sweet and its not tough, rubbery or too salty. Its a really good pie. Why anyone would base an opinion on how long a slice holds up is really scary. Food should be judged fresh not as leftovers. I would never take someone like that seriously. The reason this place is around so many years is because people actually know what good pizza is suppposed to taste like and we have plenty of it in this area. Its harder to get a bad slice than a good one here.

I dunno. I’ve been a local resident for 25 years and Pizza Center seems to have been around a long time, but it doesn’t rock my world. I’ve only taken out a full pizza pie twice but each time I found the crust to be too thin, over done, little sauce and scarce on chesse. Great pizza is even good cold the next day and PC’s slices end up like cardboard. With their longevity, someone must like them, but they don’t get the nod from me. Best pizza in the area is Avellino’s in Dunellen.

Awesome pizza for a decent price. The flavors are very creative and the garlic knots are top notch. I hardly ever drive by without dropping in for a slice. Highly recommend the Buffalo Chicken and Taco pizzas.
