Great food with great prices. Awesome place to bring the family. You can also go down the street to the Rosales Market and pick up more authentic Mexican food from the same family that owns and runs Beulah’s. Highly recommend them to anyone!

I read the reviews and thought this would be a good place to go for breakfast with my family. When we walked up my wife and I thought we had made a mistake, but gave it a chance based on the reviews. When my omelette showed up with American cheese on it, inside and out, I knew I had made a mistake. When they were kind enough to make me a new omelette with apparently«Jack» cheese and I took my first bite, there was no doubt I had made a mistake. My wife’s meal upset her stomach, as did the straight out of a bag mix pancakes my kids had. Nice enough people, but one of the worst breakfasts I’ve ever had. Maybe they make some other meals that are better, but I won’t be back to find out.

We definitely prefer them over Cowpoke! service is always fast, there hasn’t ever been a wait for us, and the food is consistently good. All things Cowpoke doesn’t have going for it. Every time we go out to eat, we come here!

I don’t eat a lot of chorizo but I’m a big fan of their chorizo and jalapeño scramble. They don’t serve vegan milk for coffee so don’t ask for a coffee if u don’t want it black or w dairy. I’ve been enjoying Beulah’s simplicity and non noisiness!

Diner food. Unfortunately we arrived in the midst of a rush, and since the place isn’t very big it took over an hour to get breakfast.

Family owned and operated. The only reason I don’t give four stars is the food quality. I love this place and I know the owners take pride and want to always do their best. With today’s food prices I can see it is more challenging for small family restaurants to survive. In order to meet the cost of business, it seems the«grade of the food» is sacrificed and a cheaper product is purchased. Obviously this diminishes food quality. And that is sad because it could be soooo much better with better quality ingredients.

My family came here for breakfast and it was great. There was no wait and it was nice and cool inside. The coffee and tea were great and we each found something we wanted to eat for breakfast. We ordered French toast, omelets, and chorizo. All of us scraped our plates clean. Definitely coming back when we are in the area.

Great greasy spoon feel to it, but the food is great. Wife had the cheese burger and I had hot roast beef sandwich. Both were great. I wish they had real coffee, but they have Farmers Brothers. Other than than it was fantastic.

Food is OK. Nothing majorly special. This is one of the only joints open at 6 am, so is why we come here. You’ve Got to remember to ask for What Kind of cheese you want. Otherwise They slap on American Cheese Kraft Slice on anything. So disgusting… Service is great and always friendly.

A very Sweet Family owned Restaurant! Service– Friendly, Food– Great, Restaurant –Clean! Hope to come back when we come thru again. My husband enjoyed his«Garbage Omelet», I enjoyed my Egg Salad on homemade Sourdough, and our son enjoyed his Bacon and Toast. The Water we drank was yummy Calistoga Springs Water. The Hostess and Waitress(I think are related) were so kind and efficient. P. S. We ate outside within their roomy Patio! A real treat.

First thing to talk about is the staff, the restaurant looks to be family owned, the mother of the family served our table, she gave us menus, grabbed our drinks(within about 2 minutes) and than asked what we wanted, no time to consider. After we told her that we needed time to think she proceeded to pretty much ignore us! It wasnt until I had to stare her down did she come to our table. Once our food came, I was trying to get my one free refill on my soda(on a side note you only get one free refill with your fountain drink. How cheap can you be that you are penny pinching a fountain drink that costs $.04 to make) and I pretty much ignored again that I never got it. The family was pretty much cooking their own breakfast along with the orders of their customers and eating it, which would explain why they weren’t waiting on their customers. Two sets of elderly couples came in together and sat at the table next to us, the table and chairs was covered in food crumbs and was filthy! Not staff coming in to clean the table(which they should have taken care of earlier), just letting these customers sit in the filth of the prior residents of that table. Food: Their food was decent but just average and nothing to remember, I got a burger, it was good but not something I would strive to eat again. The venue: The building looks like it’s in need of some major TCL, the windows have some mild caulking along the seems that is coming undone and some wood trim like looks like it needs to be replaced, ceiling fans that look like they were installed by the family and one looks like it might fall to the floor soon. An A/C until that is in the wall right where one of their tables is, the cord comes out and interferes with the table to be plugged into the wall and looks like its covered in aluminium foil. The tables look like the came out of a run down high school cafeteria and their one large table for 6 people is a folding picnic table that you can buy at walmart with cheap plastic chairs, it seems a very cheap and not customer friendly by any means. Their one bathroom is outside and looks like it could be considered an out house almost. This business is in some major work in their customer service, penny pinching money making mindset, and the condition of their venue. I will most likely NOT return here.

i hate to write this update because I adore Ester and Mando, but portion sizes have shrunk a whole lot. Ester, your competition, opens on time, and they serve twice the portions for the same price, get your stuff together girl.

What a wonderful breakfast spot in this quaint town of Middletown. Located in the kitty corner of Hwy 175& the scenic Hwy 29 Beulah’s is pretty hard to miss. Their menu is quite extensive for such a little place and of course upon seeing the familiar«Garbage…Omelet» It pretty much sealed the deal. A nice hot cup of joe accompanied a generous serving of omelet & potatoes with a little bit of pepper, salt, hot sauce and catsup, I was off to an amazing start for my trip to Napa Valley. I really enjoyed the breakfast here, needless to say we were back the following morning, this time I tried their«Chicken Fried Steak» and oh boy was it delish! A generous amount of flavorful gravy blankets this tenderized beef«chicken fried»(I know it sounds confusing but you know what i mean *grin*) potatoes and toast completes this wonderful plate! Service is pretty good, seat yourself if there’s an available table, additional seating«al fresco» is also available in their cute little courtyard. I’ll definitely miss this place but definitely a spot that I would come back to visit when I return to this lovely little town. Thank you Beulah!

Came here on a cold Sunday am after a stay near Middletown. It was about 32degrees out and my only gripe with Beulah’s is that it isn’t that well heated but the fantastic down home country breakfast made up for that in spades. If you’re looking for a fancy brunch place this ain’t your place but if you like true house made biscuits and from scratch gravy you’ll be more than happy. My self and my buddy got the biscuits and gravy with eggs and home fries. Probably one of the best we have ever had. My brother got the«garbage» omelet and loved it. If you’re cool with a dive type diner you won’t be disappointed with this joint. The place is hella cheap too. Our three meals + coffee + 30% tip out the door at $ 35.

There weren’t many options for brunch in Middletown and since this place had decent reviews on Unilocal,I trusted that we would have a good experience. Once you walk in, the cashier directs you to seat yourselves. We ordered a couple of omelettes and pancakes. The food itself was okay, but the servers only checked on us once to see if everything was okay. I had to get up and steal some sugar from another table for my coffee, also grab another ketchup bottle from another table so that we could have some, and flag someone down 2x just to get our waters/coffees refilled. The disappointing thing about the service was that the place was not busy at all, and they clearly had enough staff to fully attend to their customers. When our meals were done, I had to go to the bathroom. My biggest pet peeves in restaurants are clean bathrooms so when I walked outside to their outdoor restroom, I almost wanted to turn right back around and force myself to wait. If I didn’t have to go so badly, I would have. The toilet seat was up, no one had bothered to flush, and when I grabbed some toilet paper to push the toilet seat back down, I found the seat to be stained with even more piss. Great. The small trash can next to the toilet seat was overflowing with paper that it touched the top of the roll. I had to literally tear off the bottom piece because I knew it had to be contaminated. The sink was a disaster as well. It was wet all over, and needed to be re-caulked. Gross.
