Halpern Eye Care

The pure vision exam is very good, however, the administration to include selection and ordering glasses is way off track. I recommended my wife use Halpern and her experience was terrible. Ordered lenses and frames, expected completion in 2 weeks. Now working on 4 th week and still no glasses. Sad part was it that the staff lied about the status of the order. Stated lenses were in originally and just waiting on the frames. Then it was the frames are in waiting on the last polishing of the lenses. Then yesterday it was everything is in just need to assemble. This morning its.“Oh” can you come in and pick out a new frame as the one you selected were back ordered. Yikes !! Clearly lied! Cant do business with this kind of outfit. Integrity is everything. I will be cancelling my relationship with them as well. UPDATE. Management stepped in and helped get the glasses corrected, however, they found the initial order was incorrect. The fact that the staff was so willing to disingenuous about the status of the order challenges their integrity and we have decided to seek a different eyecare professional.

I’ve been going to Halpern for years and always appreciate the care I receive. I’d highly recommend to anyone looking for an eye dr. Several locations to choose from but I’ve only gone to Middletown.

Not a child-​friendly place. The doctor refused to see my child because he was upset. He didn’t even come in to the room to break the ice. They told us to reschedule, we will, somewhere else!
