I been ordering pizza their for a while now. Their pizza used to be pretty decent. But recently, they’ve been going down hill. Not much I can say, their pizza is very salty and not just not add good…

For some reason I feared that before we arrived that we’d be inundated with those sickening pet names; e.g., «sweetie,» «honey,» etc., and no doubt if I actually asserted myself it would be a HUGE issue. Never mind that oh, trying to be friendly and all that and never mind that the waitress calls others that too. IT. IS. NOT. PROFESSIONAL. SOKNOCKITOFF! Unless you’re a close friend, family member, etc., and I give you special dispensation, CUTITOUT! Now for the food. I read some other reviews that weren’t so stellar, but our first and only visit was super in that regard! Pizza was good and hot with fine, fresh ingredients and though seemingly a little small for a large, it was manageable and we polished it all off! An acquaintance of mine has said he believes pizza to be the food of the gods, and if it were, this would be a fine example of such!

This is one of my family’s favorite restaurants, in Middletown. The staff is always friendly and quick to seat us. They can accommodate small and large parties. We’ve been here, more times than I can count. We also order delivery on a regular basis. We’ve never been disappointed; everything arrives on time, fresh and hot. Their pizza(and sauce) is wonderful, as are the grinders, pasta and salads. My husband is a huge fan of their Cheeseburger Grinder. This was part of today’s order(and almost every order). Today, I ordered the Greek Wrap. Unfortunately, it was missing the signature Tzatziki sauce. The apps are standard for a pizza joint. They used to have these crunchy, addictive french fries. They recently changed… hoping they’ll go back. Try the mozzarella sticks, they are a favorite of ours. The sticks are decent. But it’s all about the marinara that is served on the side. It’s so good, that you could drink it.

Ever since they bolstered their marketing efforts, and redesigned the website and menu, their customer service has gone to s**t. When your customer wants cheese on only ½ of something, you do it, without question. Time to find a new local pizza joint without attitude. F**k you.

The customer service is what made me drop my rating. If you are going to list something under a section as coming with French fries then it should come with fries or state all come with fries except… When questioned the girl was rude and said«a quesadilla isn’t a sandwich» well it’s listed under sandwiches. Not the first rude encounter I’ve had with the young girl.

Never actually had their pizza but we order dinners from them often. No complaints. Very good vodka sauce.

Went there tonight for take out. Called in order for large Hawaiian & small eggplant. Got there to find out the Hawaiian was a large pizza but small eggplant was an 8″ grinder. Why a grinder. Family enjoyed pizza; grinder was ok. Disappointed. Last time we went(over a year ago), our order was messed up so took awhile to return.

2.5 stars + benefit of the doubt. The organizer of my Thursday night pickup hockey group takes us all out for pizza and beer at the end of the season, and does it here. I can only assume the primary reason is price… The pizza here is every bit as good as what you can find in the freezer case at your local supermarket [that’s not a compliment]. The chicken wings are clearly a pre-fabricated product that they just dump in the deep fryer. Perhaps the best part of the meal was the fried calamari, but judging by what goes on around here, that probably came pre-fab from Sysco too… The waitresseses doted on us very nicely, always making the rounds to get us more beer when needed. I guess that’s what makes me want to give them the benefit of the doubt. But let’s just say there’s no reason to return here solo. It’s an almost deliberate exercise in mediocrity.

Worst place ever as far as service. There were only two tables that were occupied while we were there(ours being one of those) and the waitress acted as though she couldn’t keep up. She was INCREDINLY rude. Never checked to see if we needed refills. We never got our bread w/our dinner until we asked for it and then she acted as though it was an inconvenience. And when we went to pay and asked for separate checks she about flipped out. She said«next time you come in, tell me before. I can’t do it unless you tell me before.» I said, «sure you can». RIDICULOUS! Horribly customer service!

Their calzones are delicious! I always get them delivered(which are prompt and within the timeframe told on the phone) the calzones are always hot and fresh from the oven. Very reasonably priced and a nice generous size. What more could you ask for?

If you know good pizza, you know this pizza is just terrible… Looks worse than something I would make in my own kitchen, ingredients not quality. Clam pizza was canned clams… Blech. Soooo many good pizza places in the area why would anyone go here…

«Inconsistently mediocre» is my best summation. We usually go there after we forgot about our last experience. The price is however consistent with the quality, you get what you pay for.

The pizza left much to be desired. Cheese was over cooked and almost resembled a pizza you’d make at home in your own oven. Can’t say much about the staff we did take out. Probably won’t be back for pizza, might give it another shot for entrees if we’re in the area

A pleasant surprise, I had driven by several times and decided to give it a try. If Harry’s Pizza in West Hartford is a 10, I’d say this pizza is at least an 8 ½. I wouldn’t hesitate to go again. The pizza prices are also extremely reasonable. You could get a large 1-item pie for $ 11.50 and a small 12-inch 1-item pizza for $ 6.50. And it’s more of an Italian restaurant than a pizza place with dishes ranging from homemade lasagna to chicken cacciatore to eggplant and chicken parm. Give it a try, it’s a nice locally-owned family restaurant. You won’t be disappointed.

newfield is a decent local pizzeria. probably if you live within 5 miles your family would come here once a week and know the waitress and cook by name. we meant to go to aldo’s but it was monday and they were closed, so we ended up here and it was pretty good. we were pretty much the only people in the restaurant on a late monday night. newfield pizza is better than a lot of other local pizza, but not a destination pizzeria. good if you’re in the hood.
