Pharmacy: great. Low prices, very good pharmacists, willing to help.
Store: has gone downhill. Clean, well-lit, good bakery but a lot of selection has gone away (due to their distributor.) Things I used to get there, no longer available at all. The deli does stock Boar’s Head. There is a decent healthfood section. But I shop there less and less. However, it’s the nicest grocery store in Middletown, so that’s kind of sad, in a way. My out of town friends were rather shocked at what we have – or don’t have.

The most important thing I consider when choosing local establishments is how the staff treats their customers and other local business employees.
A woman from this Giant store called a local business and was apparently upset with the way I was handling her request. At one point near the end of the call, she quite clearly said to someone else «She’s a b****.», referring to myself. What a way to treat local businesses!

Great grocery store with large organic section. The produce section is lacking and the veggies look pretty bad. But the staff is very friendly.
