Weatherwax Golf Course

What happened to this course? This two-​star rating is for my golfing experience yesterday. I’ve played there before, and would typically give it more stars, but yikes… here are my issues:
1. TOO much trash on the course… I mean… it was everywhere… from discarded boxes of golf balls to random pieces of paper to empty cans. I don’t expect the staff to clean this; I expect golfers to have some respect for the place.
2. *Two* different groups of golfers hit into the Hoff and myself. I understand that sometimes that happens, but eesh! Of course, given #1, this one shouldn’t surprise me. Have some manners, golfers! We weren’t playing slowly, either.
3. Over-​watering and random sprinklers made the course mucky in places. We’ve had a lot of heat and humidity, so there were plenty of brown spots, but there were also areas that I could have scalped with a plastic butter knife, because they were drenched. This did not make for fun golfing.
4. The Hoff and I both played poorly. This shouldn’t factor into the rating, and it really doesn’t, but I thought I should add it. :)
