I started to go to the store for my young kids hair cut … Then my old hair stylist left the area and I decided to go to Emmy … And boy I am satisfied with her services!!! today my teen daughter wanted to color het hair purple. I was reluctant but Emmy did an incredible job!!!

I’ve been going here for a couple of years now. Laila does a very good job at coloring, though I think the product line they use lacks staying power. Emmy does a very nice job cutting my hair to minimize my rather large bald spot. I’ve been butchered and scalped elsewhere, so I was gun shy coming here. That being said, I think they do a very fine job.

Awful! Worst experience ever. Owner/​stylist does not know how to properly color or highlight hair. I would avoid this salon at all costs.

Unfortunately I used this salon for my wedding and the majority of the bridal party and mothers were disappointed. My hair looked great from behind, but awful from in front and it’s a shame I will always wish I used a different stylist when I look at my own wedding photos. They have been fine as basic hair care but I would never trust them with an important event. Emmy does not do what’s best for your hair (for example, she parted my hair which reveled a thinning section even after I insisted the part go where it always does) I do not like writing bad reviews but it’s been a long time and the women in my life still make comments about their hair disappointment that day, so since I didn’t see special event reviews before the wedding I wanted to put my experience out there now for others who might be considering them. I chose them due to a special circumstance, but should have gone with my gut and gone another way.

my daughter, who had been visitning this salon for several years, really needed a haircut. she recently had ankle surgery and was not able to put any weight on her foot for 6 weeks and realized that her waist-​length hair was more touble than she needed. when she called to make an appointment with her favorite stylist at the salon, lisa, she was told to ‘just come in’. we got there, and while they were busy, they did not seem to be overwhelmingly busy but was told she could not see lisa. emmy said she would be cutting her hair instead. my daughter’s hair had not been washed in several days and was visibly dirty, but instead of washing it, emmy just stroked conditioner thru it and cut it that way. despite my daughter describing how she wanted it cut and my hearing how she described it, emmy just hacked off 12″ of her hair and left it butchered like that — NO STYLE AT ALL!!! in addition, emmy left her sitting in the chair — uncomfortably since she was in a heavy leg cast — while she washed another customer’s hair for over 20 minutes, with no explaination as to why she would be gone! thankfully my new neighbor was able to cut my daughter’s hair, although much shorter than she wanted, and give her a style that was much more like what she had originally asked emmy for. IN SHORT — UNLESS YOU DO NOT CARE HOW YOUR HAIR IS CUT, DO NOT GO HERE!!!

I have been to many places to get my hair cut and this place tops them all! They understand that with every person comes different types of hair and they can adjust to it all!
Family Hair Care is a family place and they accommodate everyone– from children to men & women at the best prices around. What I love is that I can get a salon cut & style at a reasonable price. These women have talent and know about all the up-​to-​date styles… with the laid back atmosphere, you may not realize how talented they are. But when you get your hair done, you’ll see their skills.

Great place for your hair care and supplies! This salon is family owned and operated. The prices are very resonable, especially compared to all the salons in the area. When you walk in this salon, you feel at home… with coffee and some kind of food always offered to you. Also, they have a store of hair care supplies, so it’s a one-​stop shop! Recommend to all.
