This place is amazing! The food is delicious, service was awesome. I literally found this place by accident, and have been back 3 times in a week. I wish they served dinner as well!

Outstanding food in a nice setting. Great juices and a wonderful change of pace from the same old crap around here. I love their national dish, as well as the guava and cheese dessert sticks. Get the sugarcane and lime drink! Plentiful portions and good prices. Our new fav for lunch!

Great home cooking in midland! Will definitely return. Service was a bit slow but because there was only one woman during busy lunch hour.

Something, well, unique for midland. I’m here two or three times a month, so good! I usually get the la Reyna, if you like beef and avocado, that’s the way to go.

The food was really good. It was authentic Venezuelan food. The establishment was also very nice. The food was ready in minutes. However, the waitress, some old lady with black hair, was beyond rude. It almost ruined the lunch. When we were ready to pay, we wanted to split the check and she just limited to saying«I can’t do it, you should have told me earlier». She was just rude throughout the whole time.

AMAZINGFOOD!!! Everything here is absolutely wonderful and they have the absolute best customer service as well. The cachapa probably misspelled is sooooo good. And their arepas make you dance while you eat. The traditional Venezuelan plates are super good too and every dish you get comes with sooooo much food. I love this place. I’m a weekly visitor.

I can see how other people might enjoy this place. For me, it did not suit my flavour palette. I’m not a fan sweet foods in general. Since their signature dish is a sweet corn bread type pancake hybrid thing — you can guess why it wasn’t up my alley.

This place is a gem! The service was fantastic and the food delicious. I enjoyed the La Sureña with plantains. I’ll definitely be back!

I will keep it short and sweet. GOHERE. Best place I have been in west texas and that includes the upscale bistros and Italian places. They take pride in their food. The chef usually comes out just to look at your face when you take your first bite.

Owners very invested in customers and their feedback, it’s hard to find that in Midland!

I went to Café Unique for the first time today and was absolutely blown away! Both the food and hospitality were phenomenal; I felt like I left the city of Midland and traveled to South America. I will absolutely be back.

I’ve never had Venezuelan cuisine before but if this is an accurate representation then I’m defiantly a fan. I had the Tradicional plate and my wife had the Carne plate. Both were excellent. Food came out quick and was so hot you could barely eat it at first. We can’t wait to try what else this place has to offer.

I was pleasantly surprised to find a Venezuelan restaurant in Midland & can’t wait to go back! Seriously, I can’t stop thinking about the food there, it was delicious. They’re only open for lunch, so plan accordingly. Service was great & fast. And every single order is a LOT of food for the price. Ingredients were all very fresh & well seasoned. I really, really hope this place stays in business for a long time! Go try it, you won’t regret it.

If you like greasy, bland food, you would like this place. The food was flavorless and the arepa was dripping grease. We won’t be back.

My coworkers and I decided to try this place out for lunch today on a Friday. We got there around 1130 ish and it wasn’t too busy about 3 other tables before us. We ordered the Tequenos, Testones, and Plantains to share for appetizers, 3 diff arepas to share, and churros for dessert. I like the La Surena arepa it had chicken chorizo, and avocado in it. There are 3 diff sauces they give you on the table, my favorite was their cilantro mayo one and the salsa one had a good spice to it. The churros were good, but I wish they were a little softer. It was too crispy for my liking, but they give you a caramel sauce to dip in and it was drizzled over with chocolate. We had the sugar cane — lime drink forget the name of it. For the three of us our bill was about $ 50 bucks. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food came out fast too. This place is pretty casual and you can do to go orders and pick up. They have a little futon couch in the dining area for customers to wait for their orders. Overall, the food wasn’t bad, If you want to try some diff food other than tex mex etc they have here, try this place out. If I go back I want to try their other arepas and empanadas. It was a little bummer we couldn’t get any coconut drinks there. since it is not on the menu anymore.

This place is a breath of fresh air for the Midland food scene. The Arepas are amazing and just go ahead and get the fried plantains. Great casual atmosphere, good service, and awesome dining soundtrack. You’ll thank yourself after you wake up from the nap that this delicious food will make you take. #dericious

Really great, fresh, tasty food. Had the vegetarian, chicken/chorizo and avocado and the pork shoulder . Also had the cheese stick things… Mmmm the 3 sauces they bring to the table are a good addition. We’ll be back.

I would have never thought I could find a Venezuelan place in Midland. I was ecstatic when my coworkers and I did. The place is clean and nice, the service was fast and the food delicious. There are plenty of arepas, empanadas and other Venezuelan plates to choose from. The flavors were quite authentic. I had the la sureña arepa and it was delicious. I’d recommend getting here by 11:30 or before noon for lunch, this place got packed after noon.

The food was good, a bit bland for my taste buds but I would come back and try something different. Only complaint was the coleslaw was warm. The staff was very nice and the surpasses the negative. Deff would go back I would however suggest adding pictures to the menus as we had trouble knowing what anything was.

Excelente sitio. Recomendado

I am updating my review to 5 stars. This is now one of my favorite restaurants in town. I have tried the La Pelua(shredded beef and cheese arepa). I can’t decide if I prefer the beef or chicken, but if I had a bigger stomach… it would be both. The last time I came here with a group and we tried the guava cheese fried things. (the correct name is eluding me at the moment). I am usually not a fan of sweet and cheese together, but these were delicious. As were the churros we shared for dessert. The waitress had help this time, and service was top.
